  A friend Satellite Pro L650 having worked well until yesterday, all of a sudden turned itself off. Now, at startup, it lights up normally for about 10-15 seconds before turning off suddenly.   I got my sisters laptop (Satellite PRO A120 model PSAC1E) and because it was full of girly garbage I ve put the xp pro disc to and start again.
  Now, the problem is that there are a lot of exclamation points in my device manager. I guess the disc that came with the laptop would have sorted it, but it disappeared.
  Rather than going through downloads driver one at a time and hoping that I get what I want (some seem not to be there anyway), is there a place I can download the boot disk arrangement... the Device Manager indicates that these don t have drivers...

  In my IMHO the additional features of touchpad and other devices don't work correctly because the installed drivers are not designed for Win 7 and are perhaps not fully compatible with Win 7.

  Have you tested this change in method of cooling in the sleep tool? Make sure that the cooling rack is not dirty and nothing is blocking the vents.
