Having started out of my wireless connection

Hello world

For any reason and without time intervals, my Y530 disconnects from my router. Any suggestions? It's kinda a gene, I know that the router and modem are working well. When I was hard plugged on my modem connection was still scientifically, so I know that my modem high speed is very good. I reconnect immediately, but I'm trying to find a reason to explain why the connection is lost in the first place. The furthest I've been my router is right in front of the room. If it makes a difference, I have a Belkin G + Mimo Router and Vista Home Premium 64-bit operating system. Thank you!

C.

Try this, mey be you have the same problem:

  • Problem of DNS in Windows 7 wireless connection

New computer laptop gateway with Windows 7 was to connect to the internet for a month, until a few days ago, when I started to lose the wireless connection often. The only solution was to wait that it will eventually reconnect again. Other computers are connecting wireless with no problems. I get a message that it is a problem of DNS server. He usually tells me that I am connected to the wireless but the connection between the router and the internet is broken. Wired works fine. Suggestions?

    Hi lisina10

You can follow the steps below to check the NIC in Device Manager.
You can check if you have any exclamation point beside the devices listed. If you have, then there is problem with the card is installed.
I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the NIC drivers and check:
    a. click Startand then click Control Panel.
    b. click system and Maintenance, click Systemand then click on Device Manager.
Note If Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click System, and then click Device Manager.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    c. in the NIC, expand adapter, right click on the devices listed and then click Uninstall.
    d. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click on OK.
    e. restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically. Check after this procedure if you are able to get access to the network.

You can also check the driver through windows updates updates. Check out the link for additional assistance mentioned in the update drivers below:

Reason do not use Ethernet adapter was because in the taskbar bar, there was a "Network cable unplugged" warning (internet technician did not want or did not know how) to solve the problem. It's easier and faster just to put the adapter ASIX.    My problem is after about 20 minutes. my connection speed is slower than the previous 56K modem. I have to constantly repair the IP address just to stay online when the settings are set to AUTO FIND the IP address, gateway server and DNS servers. If I set these manuely I am always constantly disconnected and it is a repair click without end for the IP address. I can't play POKER in Facebook or Ant other multiplayer game due to the fact that you can't return to your table in FACEBOOK before you are ejected to the lobby, because you've lost the Internet connection. I get disconnected every 2-3 minutes. It's on a regular basis. So sometimes (not often) I stay connected and stay in touch with extremely quick responses. Hello

    1. don't you make changes to your machine before the problem?
    2. you have any device near your router that may be in conflict with the signal?

If so, make sure that devices such as radio, microwaves, mobile phones are kept at Bay.

In the meantime, I wish that you follow the steps mentioned below.

    Method 1:

Update your AX88772 6 USB2.0 to Fast Ethernet network card of manufacturer's site and see if it helps.

    Method 2:

You can also test the problem in safe mode with network.

If the methods above are little help, you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider for the best help that can be also with slow Internet or abandon the connection.

Let us know the status of the issue.

Device default internal for laptop wireless

I'm seeing this many lately.  I presume that you are referring to an internal wireless installation in a laptop?

My theory is that this is because many people keep their laptops more time to keep Windows 7 and avoid the 8 and 10.

I think wireless facilities begin to fail and what you are experiencing is the first signs of this failure.

I found that the installation simple and cheap($20) of a small USB wireless installation it will replace and work better than the internal one ever done.

  • Installed wireless Belkin, unable to see network, get error windows cannot configure this wireless connection and starting the WZC abuse

    Hello

I have a belkin wireless router that worked on my primary computer and a portable computer for years.

Recently, I moved my main computer and now it dosnt seem to work. Belkin is installed but when I ask to see available networks, it says that windows cannot configure this wireless connection and starting the WZC abuse. Belkin still works fine on my laptop so I know no there is not a problem here. Can someone help me please? I tried to type in %SystemRoot%\system32\services.mcs\s as with a question of people, but all I get is windows can't find this.

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you

    * original title - Help... problem with belkin wireless *.

Let's see if I can cut through it.

    You wrote:

Click the Wireless Networks (see this picture) - I did

Is the box 'Use Windows to configure my wireless network' checked or unchecked? There is no such box.

I connect using - he says belkin. another box saying this connection uses the following items. then underneath there are 3 tabs - install, uninstall and properties. If I press on properties it says name provider and in this box, it says windows index.

It seems that you don't have not clicked the "Wireless networks" tab, after you open the properties of your wireless adapter.  From your description, you look at the 'Général' tab: click HERE to see the "Général" tab Click HERE to see the 'Wireless Networks' tab.

There are 5 columns: name, description, status, startup type and log as.  The values for the last 3 columns should be started, automatic and Local System - on my screen there are 4 tabs at the top - general, connect you, recovery and dependency.

You skipped a step... 5 columns are in the 'Services' window initial... you arrive at "4 tabs at the top", AFTER you double-click the Wireless Auto Configuration.

Status of the service which includes 4 boxes. stop suspend and resume. the button highlighted in the start menu

Just to the right of the expression "Service status", you should see a Word.  On your system, this word probably is "stopped."  The 4 buttons (boxes) are how to control the service.  Because you said that the highlighted button is 'start' which means that the service is currently stopped, and you will need to click on this button "start" to start.

I strongly suspect that you had used the Belkin utility to control your adapter - and now, you also started WZC.  As I wrote above, you can have both running at the same time.

When you click the icon of your "Belkin", do you have a screen that looks like this: http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/img/2006/belkinn1/08.jpg

If so, you should return to the utility Services and 'Stop' the automatic configuration service.  If you want to use WZC instead of the Belkin utility, see http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/40/related/1

I'm not familiar with the Belkin Wireless networking utility, but many wifi manufacturer utilities can be used to turn your wifi on and off, then maybe your was off (the adapter on your computer - not the router).  If you identify the model of the card you have in your main computer, I'll see if I can find the manual on the Belkin website and maybe give you a little more information.

  • Satellite Pro L650 - wireless connectivity problems

I recently started having problems to be able to connect wirelessly.

laptop is able to find connections to home and my wireless router. but it is impossible to connect. or when it does, the soons connection becomes broken and she begins searching for signals to connect to. I'm literally just 2 metres from the router, signed lstrength or interference is not a problem. I have no problem connecting via a LAN cable.

This question has recently developed after having had no problem before, and it's really annoying me now!

I should just be able to switch on my laptop (whether at home or office) and he just needs to connect to internet automatically!

I hope someone out there can tell me what to do as this beyond embarrassing. I tried to uninstall driver and reboot system below. He still does not!

    Hi dazzablack,

What operating system is installed on your laptop? You use the preinstalled version of Windows 7 in Toshiba or your own installation?

Maybe the problem has something to do with the WLAN energy saving settings. I check the Windows power management and set the card WLAN for maximum performance. If you can ensure that you will always have the best performance of WLAN. :)

  • Problems of sudden wireless connectivity with Qosmio G10

I had a Qosmio G10 for almost 3 years now, and at least WRT my wireless connection, everything was fine until a few weeks ago.

Little by little I started to lose the ability to connect to a WLAN after getting out of the mode standby (Win XP MCE): the computer wouldn't connect to my WIFI and would keep erratic jumps among the various wireless networks available in the neighborhood, without connect because they are all fixed.

Initially, the problem could be solved by restarting the computer and the router.

Now even that no longer works. I see either all local wireless networks, including mine, without being able to connect, or I see no WLAN at all.

Windows status bar icons both ConfigFree show the small red cross and the system didn't budge. When I see available wireless networks, I'm trying to connect to my own, but then the computer attempts to connect forever. If I order for Toshiba ConfigFree * _For unchecking the checkbox in the properties window_ wireless * and I'm trying to connect manually my WLAN to the computer by dragging a link the said application to another provider program is in control.

I have tried everything that came to my mind, the repair connection, enable/disable WZC, install new drivers for the Intel 2200BG, install the new version of ConfigFree... There is obviously some kind of conflict, but I do not understand what it can be.

I don't know what else to do before decide to reinstall new Windows (oh dear oh dear). Moreover, my ADSL Modem/Router is always the same. The link has been dealt with by WPA/TKIP. Everything works fine with the other 2 computers and a phone with WiFi.

Said by the way and quite surprisingly, a member of the family in another country began just having exactly the same problem on a Toshiba Satellite A110. In this case, the cause may be associated with the change of a Philips to a Linksys modem/router (either DHCP;) WPA/TKIP unchanged; everything works with another laptop in the same household)

    Can someone please help?

Why use the CnfigFree tool to connect to the WLan?
According to your message, you are using the Intel card.
I would recommend so either use the Intel ProSet WLan client configuration tool or the clean option of Windows!

    > try to manually connect my WLAN to the computer by dragging a link the said application to another provider program is in control
I assume that this error message is displayed because the ConfigFree is always chosen as tool to configure the WiFi network.

However, the new installation of the OS may not be bad idea due to the fact that everything would be set up again.

  • Windows 7 wireless connection problem

I just bought a brand new Alienware m17x and all drivers are up to date... .IM with broadcom wireless network adapter. The strange thing is that last night I was on the internet for several hours without any problem using the wireless, but this morning iwas unable to use my wireless internet access. This has happened several times now. Sometimes it says "not connected - no available connections" and sometimes he says "not connected connections are available" when she says, links, I try to connect to the network, but it says "unable to connect to the network. The only time wherever I was able to connect to wireless internet, was when my computer is automatically connected to my wireless network without me having to select the network and attempt to connect. I read things about windows 7, with a mode of "sleeper" for wireless connections or something, and that can be the cause of it and that it is better to turn off or downgrade to xp. I am really frustrated because I am not able to connect wirelessly and I hope you guys can help me find a solution.

Guide to correctly troubleshoot wireless M17x
    with Dell Wireless 1510/Broadcom card
    by Glzmo

Since many new Alienware M17x all powerful users, especially those who use Windows 7 as operating system there are various problems with their Wi - Fi connection and post threads asking how their difficulty over and over again, I decided to write this guide to show them how to solve these issues properly Commons. The solutions in this guide were created and designed for 64-bit Windows 7, but they may also work in Windows Vista, although these problems were experienced by users of Windows 7 mainly in the past. It could very well be that the problems start occurring in Vista as well with the new drivers and Windows updates.

    I. may not connect to the wireless network and or see the wireless adapter when the Ethernet cable is disconnected
If you sometimes or always unable to connect to the wireless network, cannot connect to the wireless network when the Ethernet cable is disconnected, unable to connect to a wireless network unless you restart once to get this work and other weird problems to be unable to connect to a wireless network continue with section II. Otherwise, continue with section II..

Sleep of a.i. Disable on disconnect device
Some new Nvidia Ethernet drivers have a function called sleep device to disconnect. This is the culprit. Normally, it should only put the card Ethernet to sleep when the cable is disconnected, but it is buggy and thus kill the wireless connection as well.
Follow these steps to disable this feature on your Ethernet Nvidia card:

    1. open the Device Manager of Windows by pressing Win + break, and then click on Device Manager on the left side.
    2 double-click network adapters.
3 double click on NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller (Yes, that's indeed wired Ethernet adapter).
4 click on the Advanced tab.
5 select sleep on disconnect device.
6 set the value to disabled.
7 click OK and wireless should work again (may require a reboot later, but probably not).

I.b. install different drivers (older) who do not have the device sleeping on disconnect feature.
The above does not work or if you are not comfortable with these drivers, follow these steps (if step A.i. was successful, you will not need to follow these steps). Take care to create a system restore point before proceeding:
    1. click the Windows Start button in the taskbar.
    2 click on Control Panel.
3 click on uninstall a program.
4 in the list, double-click Nvidia drivers.
    5. Mark Remove only the following.
6 in the box below, only check the Nvidia Network driver.
7 click Remove and follow the uninstall instructions.
8 restart the system, if you are prompted to.
9 download another (older) driver from Nvidia.
    10 install the old driver.
11 when asked what drivers you want to install, select only the network driver.
12 follow the installation instructions and restart your system if prompted.

II. Low or fluctuating wireless connection speeds
If you have problems with WiFi low connection speeds (such as rates decline over time, the speeds are much lower than they should be, network lag/stutter in online games, loss of light packets, loss of internet connection as LAN works and other weird things) or speeds of fluctuating wildly without apparent reason wireless connection install the version of the Dell Wireless 5.60.18.8 drivers instead of the standard Broadcom drivers. All older drivers will usually cause the speed of connection under normal. Note, however, that you may need to install the driver manually via Device Manager as the pilot was not released for another laptop and is not officially available to the M17x yet - that's why the installer won't work. Take care to create a system restore point before proceeding.
Here is a step by step how manually install the driver:

    1. download the drivers Dell Wireless 5.60.18.8.
2 check out the R29128.exe file using an extraction utility like WinRAR or just run it and quit the installation program.
    3. open the Device Manager of Windows by pressing Win + break, and then click on Device Manager on the left side.
    4 double-click network adapters.
5 double-click the Broadcom 802.11n network adapter entry.
6 click on the driver tab.
7 click the button Update driver .
8 click Browse my computer for driver software.
9 click on Let me take form a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
10 click the disk provided .
    11 click Browse.
    12. select the folder that you extracted the drivers you just downloaded in step 1. in.
13 select the subfolder DRIVER_US (if you are in the United States), DRIVER_JP (if you are in the Japan) or DRIVER_ROW (if you are in the rest of the world), according to the region you are in.
14 click on the Open button.
    15 click OK.
16 select the driver that says Dell Wireless 1510 Wireless-N WLAN Mini-Card of the list (you may have to scroll down to see - it presents itself as second to the last in the list for me).
17 click on the Next button.
18 you will get a warning that the driver that you are about to install is not compatible with your hardware. Ignore the warning and proceed with the driver installation.
19 restart your system if prompted to do so.
20 your new driver should now be properly installed and the speed of your wireless connection in the order.

III. If all else fails (or you've just had enough of boredom arising from the Dell Wireless 1510/Broadcom card)
Replace the Dell Wireless 1510 problem with a card half-mini Intel Ultimate N WiFi Link 5300 A/G/N (use the bluetooth as the third antenna antenna or buy you an additional antenna for this). It works very well with the M17x, has better connection speeds to strips of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (this last has speeds really bad on the Broadcom/1510), it has not required to jump through the hoops to make it work properly and much more, it works with standard drivers and Intel maintains their drivers up to date. It is also much more reliable and faster as well, especially on the 5 GHz band, but also on the 2.4 GHz band.

For more information on the subject of tweaking the settings of your Dell Wireless card, check out the official setting advanced properties: Dell Wireless WLAN Card User Guide.

I hope that this guide will help you solve your Wi - Fi connection and allow you to enjoy speeds of complete wireless connection on your laptop Alienware M17x.

Addendum: Quick links in this Guide

    Driver wireless Dell 5.60.18.8 version
Download the driver for the Mini PCI Dell Wireless 1510 card used in this guide.

Broadcom 943xx Wireless Driver version 5.60.18.41
Download the latest Broadcom driver as an alternative to the Dell a little older driver who may or may not solve the problems more. Some have seen more success than with the 5.60.18.8 drivers with it (you need to use the 802.11n network adapter driver rather than at the entrance to Dell Wireless 1510 Wireless-N WLAN Mini Card in step II.15. the guide when you use this driver).

Setting advanced properties: Dell Wireless WLAN card User Guide

    Hello @adityarai82,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! The forums are a great place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I read your post about the WiFi problem and wanted to help you!  I understand that you have tried the troubleshooting steps a lot already, without success.

Try to review these steps, offered by community member @Great-Christine-Tree:

First of all, we have a step by step guide to guide you through the process of diagnosis here:
Troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet access

A second option is to try the following steps:
    Powercycle the network:
    1. turn off your laptop.
    2. unplug the power to your router.
    3. disconnect the power to your modem.
    4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
    7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:
    1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
    2. expand the network adapters.
    3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
    4. click on the power management tab.
5 remove the check mark next to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
    6. click on OK.
    7 test cycle.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" without the quotes and press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

It can also help to reset the winsock catalog:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes, and then press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

    Reinstall the NIC drivers:
    1. download the drivers from here , but do not run them again.
    2. go to your Start menu/screen and type Device Manager.
    3. expand network adapters.
    4. right click on the wireless adapter and choose uninstall.
5 install the drivers downloaded in step 1.
    6. restart your PC and test.

    Test an ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

    Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, try this document published by Microsoft for network management issues: wired and wireless network problems. You can change the operating system with the drop-down list in the upper right of the document.

  • Re: Satellite S70T-A-016 - no option for wireless connection

    Greetings,

Just picked up one new Satellite S70T-A-016. Everything worked very well last night and I had a wireless connectivity, but now, I have no option for a wireless connection. I pressed the button F 12, and the only message I get is ' airplane Mode on / off. I don't know if I pushed inadvertently something I shouldn't or not. Have connected by cable to Toshiba and updated the atheron wireless LAN and realtek drivers but still nothing. Troubleshooting only tells me to plug an Ethernet cable.

Starting at this, so any help step by step would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Usually, if you turn off the airplane mode WIFI should work.
Check please follow option: move the mouse to the lower right corner and when you see options on the right, click settings. You will see the option for the WLAN. Click it and you will see the options networks. Make sure that airplane mode is DISABLED and Wi - Fi mode.

You don't need to reinstall drivers. Laptop is preinstalled with all the necessary things and the reason for not working WLAN are bad options I think.

Please check it out and provide feedback.
