HDMI angled adaptor

Hi all

Do you remember my last thread on USB at right angles to the Xoom connectors:

https://supportforums.Motorola.com/message/396893#396893

After this thread, many of you asked me (via post and PM) you need to find a corresponding HDMI adapter cranked for your Xoom (given that Motorola does not offer one). So here I am with another wonderful find! This angled HDMI (Mini "D" "a") standard adapter fits next to the previous right angle connector and still allows access to the power plug in as well. I checked on this map (of type D to A) with my HDTV and it works perfectly with the Xoom HDMI signal, just hang a normal HDMI cable size and you're ready to go!

Here is the card itself:

Here is the adapter is plugged it beside the previous USB elbow connector:

Here's the view down (note the game on the right to be able to):

:

Now, this elbow connector and HDMI adapter cost me a huge amount of $7.88 on Amazon, but still a real steal!

If you are interested to check it out, here is the link:

Hope that helps you with connections on your Xoom.

@marctronixx,

If you read his first post above «...» Had bad luck with my bargain micro HDMI cable... ", you will see that it was a bad cable first and this adapter solved its problems."

I have just installed bootcamp on my computer (end 2013 Mac Pro) and a staff nine MBP (15 "with a dedicated graphics card). Both computers work fine with multiple monitors during execution of OS X, but as soon as I swap Windows 10, they will work only as a display. Mine runs of the two external (works LG, Acer does not work). His only runs the retina on the MBP. It has two dell monitors as well. I tried to install the drivers for its monitors, but it gets to the end and wants to 'find' his monitor and cannot. For mine, the site Acer says theres an error when I search drivers the monitor. I first started in windows 8.1 because we licensed in volume and then used the free upgrade to 10. When my mac pro was running 8.1, displays the Acer and the LG has worked well. I don't test with his macbook because I stayed right on the retina until I was all finished. My screens are plugged with two mini display to HDMI (no adaptors, actual cables) cables. Currently, we have one of its valleys hung with a HDMI (does not work). I don't have the appropriate cables to connect the two valleys currently.  Once everything happens here, his MBP will be placed in a doc with cable a thunderbolt from the first dell and then a second bolt of lightning chaining to the second dell. Any ideas on how to get Windows 10 to recognize more than one screen?

  • HP 8440p: DisplayPort to HDMI Audio problem has never been resolved?

I have a HP 8440p with NVS3100 graphics card. I tried all suggestions get the DisplayPort to pass audio through a DP-HDMI adaptor without success. I even tried to buy several cards in the hope of findingone that worked, even the own expensive adapter from HP.

I cannot conclude that it is now established that the HP 8440p with the discreet NVS3100 (not the graphics card Intel integraed) simply cannot get audio of the DisplayPort adapter to a HDMI adpter? If the answer is he can't then I start shopping for a new laptop computer with native HDMI and DisplayPort not troublesome.

    Thank you

    Hey Dude.

If you want that works = it is confirmed in Windows 7 (x 64) and Windows (x 64) 10 = - and assuming that you have the NVS3100m GPU, all you need to do is to install the older drivers NVIDIA 188.31, file name sp47020.exe and can be found once you go to HP/Support/Drivers on your machine and after selecting either Windows 7 Professional 64 bit as your operating system. This driver also works well to win 10 x 64. It is probabbly not the fastest graphics driver or, after being released in 2010, but at least audio on DP/HDMI works :-) Have fun!

  • How can I connect my Satellite L510 (no HDMI) to SMART TV

    Hi all

I'm not very tech savy and have recently bought a smart tv. I'm trying to connect my computer to the tv.

However, I don't seem to have a port hdmi on my computer. After reading the manual, I seem to have a vga port.

Counsel on how to connect the 2 (what kind of adapters or cables, I'd need) is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

If your computer supports only the VGA port, you will not be able to connect the unit to the TV HDMI port s.
In this case, please check TV ports and probably you could connect the laptop to TV s port PC (RGB) input (if available)

I put t think that a VGA adaptor HDMI would work because it is not possible to send the signal (analog) VGA to HDMI (digital) signal.

I think that you would need special converter, but these devices are not cheap

  • x 34 and Consoles through HDMI - of known issues?

    Hi all

A context of fast - I am a PC Gamer running a XB270HU to DisplayPort (980Ti GPU), looking to spend a x 34 for an experience ultra wide angle and for additional HDMI input for games console on the side. I understand the game Console will not be rendered in its ultra resolution wide and it's OK.

Someone at - it no experience running a Playstation 4 or an Xbox via HDMI on the 34 x, and if so, are there problems? I ask because I heard that the x 34 is only 50 hz via HDMI - is this correct, and can easily be overclocked to 60 hz via the interface?

    Any comments or help appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    -JR

    Hi KORS41R,

I don't know where you read that HDMI supports only 50 Hz.  The X-34 has a HDMI 1.4 plug connector and a default of 60 hz refresh rate, so the HDMI cables high speed that can handle 4 k should be able to manage the 1440p@60hz.  I have not really tried with a console myself well so I just anecdotal not for performance.

You will certainly not be able to get the overclocked (greater than 60 Hz) off HDMI however refresh rate, and you should not use the OSD settings to change the image on the screen itself format depending on whether you prefer "Aspect" or "1 / 1" which will determine if the image display in 16 / 9 with black bars on the sides or stretched. • HDMI output problem with w2207h

Monitor: w2207h with 3.0.0 (most recent) drivers installed.

    OS: Windows 7

    Computing: Firebird 802, x 2 9800 S with a nForce 760i SLI

Problem: After upgrading video card drivers I lost output HDMI, no longer gives a signal.

I am currentnly using a VGA cable with DVI adaptor as a workaround.

I tried to uninstall the drivers and going back to previous known working more, but now the problem still persists.  Each install properly said, removed the old drivers and made a full stop down. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both monitor and nForce drivers.

I tried four sets of drivers:

    197.45 (used to work)

260.99 (used to work and update 197.45)

    266.58 (nvidia recommended).

    267.24 (beta).

I also left auto-install win7 it's set of drivers with no luck.

I also tried to Exchange another HDMI cable with the same results.

Something to note: I can plug in VGA and HDMI at the same time. The monitor uses input VGA although HDMI is the default value. Under control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen resolution - display I see two choices of monitor. If I force it to choose the HDMI selection it works, but as soon as I unplug the cable VGA monitor loses signal and falls asleep.

I have accumulated my brain for 8 + hrs on it. Any help is appreciated.

Also, what happened on the HP Voodoo specific forums They have merged?

    Great success!

    Here's how I solved it.

1 borrowed a second monitor from a friend it connected via VGA. Also connected my monitor via HDMI.

2 the navigation target Panel\Appearance control and the Personalization\Display\Screen resolution on the VGA monitor.  Changed display image duplicated on both monitors and it WORKED. I was finally viewing HDMI on my monitor main but forced resolution 1280.

    3. under the control panel nvidia-> put in place several tab displays, monitors showed, I deselected the VGA monitor (it's disabled/grayed out until I did a reboot) and this allowed me to take back the HDMI @ my natieve resolution 1680.

I'm working on tests a couple square options, but I don't have them yet. I have found at right angle adapters HDMI and USB Host (OTG), see my other son for those.

  • Presenter PowerPoint on Mac mini mode displayed on the screen and the projector when using HDMI splitter

We have a Mac mini connected to a screen and a projector via HDMI using a HDMI splitter.

It works fine for most applications, but during presentations PowerPoint, presenter is displayed on the monitor and the projector.

When I disconnected the mini Mac's HDMI cable and put it in a MacBook, the presenter appeared on the MacBook screen (as it should) and only the slide appears on the screen and on the projection screen.

Of course if we have to use the MacBook for presentations instead of the Mac mini, you would need to have seen the presenter on both the screen and on the screen of the MacBook.

In the Mac mini display preferences there is no button to "Gather Windows" when the Mac mini is attached to the screen and the projector via HDMI splitter is a tab "setting."

But these two things appear on the MacBook when it is connected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Mike

I'm confused. When you use a video separator the same screen will appear on the two monitors connected to the separator. This is how works a separator

  • External display on HDMI overheating my Mac and drains the battery badly

    Hey guys.

I am using a MBP retina 2012 15 inches with an external monitor, a generic LCD 1080 p via HDMI without problems. And recently updated for Sierra.

The question starts immediately when I plug it into the screen. The Macbook seems to overheat and run fans above 4000 rpm, which is very audible and boring. CPU and GPU temperatures go above 70 degrees C (normally they make 50 +). The battery holds for only 1.5 hours, generally works well for 4-5 hours.
I tried killing all apps, followed a bad process in activity monitor, changing default resolution - nothing helps so far. The CPU is barely used by 10%, the memory pressure is fine.
It's just that time when I plug the screen - Mac starts bad feeling. Never, the problem occurred on El Capitan. Maybe it's a GPU problem, but certainly caused by the OS.
All the world had the same problem?

Try resetting the NVRAM (hold down the command-option-P-R on startup).

Also, try to restart in Mode without failure, then normally again.

Finally, try logging into your account, sign in to a user account (or the guest account) and connect the external display. Same problem? If it works fine for a new account then it's something in your own account which is the cause - perhaps an element of connection or some other system changes induced by the operating system previous and who does not play nice with Sierra.

  • HDMI to Vga 2015 Mac

I have a macbook pro with the retina display 2015. I have a vga screen and a hdmi adapter. Whenever I connect the Hdmi adapter on my mac and plug on my screen of my Mac screen to him becomes black and it does not work. Can someone please give me a solution thanks.

There is no sensible way (that I know of) to convert HDMI to VGA and have everything continue to work.

I suggest get you an adapter Mini DisplayPort to VGA and plug on the Thunderbolt port (Mini DisplayPort is a subset of the Thunderbolt).
