HDMI output problem with w2207h

Monitor: w2207h with 3.0.0 (most recent) drivers installed.

OS: Windows 7

Computing: Firebird 802, x 2 9800 S with a nForce 760i SLI

Problem: After upgrading video card drivers I lost output HDMI, no longer gives a signal.

I am currentnly using a VGA cable with DVI adaptor as a workaround.

I tried to uninstall the drivers and going back to previous known working more, but now the problem still persists.  Each install properly said, removed the old drivers and made a full stop down. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both monitor and nForce drivers.

I tried four sets of drivers:

197.45 (used to work)

260.99 (used to work and update 197.45)

266.58 (nvidia recommended).

267.24 (beta).

I also left auto-install win7 it's set of drivers with no luck.

I also tried to Exchange another HDMI cable with the same results.

Something to note: I can plug in VGA and HDMI at the same time. The monitor uses input VGA although HDMI is the default value. Under control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen resolution - display I see two choices of monitor. If I force it to choose the HDMI selection it works, but as soon as I unplug the cable VGA monitor loses signal and falls asleep.

I have accumulated my brain for 8 + hrs on it. Any help is appreciated.

Also, what happened on the HP Voodoo specific forums They have merged?

Great success!

Here's how I solved it.

1 borrowed a second monitor from a friend it connected via VGA. Also connected my monitor via HDMI.

2 the navigation target Panel\Appearance control and the Personalization\Display\Screen resolution on the VGA monitor.  Changed display image duplicated on both monitors and it WORKED. I was finally viewing HDMI on my monitor main but forced resolution 1280.

3. under the control panel nvidia-> put in place several tab displays, monitors showed, I deselected the VGA monitor (it's disabled/grayed out until I did a reboot) and this allowed me to take back the HDMI @ my natieve resolution 1680.

    Hello

I have a problem with the Thinkpad X carbon 1 in which I can get resolution of 1920 x 1080 on my external monitor (capable of 2560 x 1440), when connected via HDMI using among Dock port but when I connect via direct X carbon 1 display port, I can get the full resolution I want. • HDMI display problem with NB520-11 q

    Hello!

I bought a new nb520-11 q this week and connected it with my flat screen tv via hdmi.

Unfortunately, the TV screen was cut in about two-thirds of the screen of the display of netbook once and a half and the whole screen was a kind of redish, but not the colors as on the toshiba.

I also connect my tablet with my apartment without any problem of the tv display. So I was wondering if I need to change some settings to display on my toshiba in order to operate or if theres a bug fix to download.

Is the result even when you use option (LCD + HDMI) cone and office extended too?

Did you watch any movie or video clip when that happen or you simply switched to the HDMI option only?

  • A2109 2 problems with networking and an HDMI output

I had an A2109 for Christmas and have 2 occurring of questions that I need help on.

    1. I was never able to get the HDMI to work. I tried 2 different cables, as well as 2 different TV and when I plug the microphone to the Tablet and the TV, my TV cable don't say no signal source. I got this tablet specifically for the HDMI output and flash support, so I can watch sports on the internet on our main TV.

    2. in the last week or so when I wake up in the Tablet, my apps does not connect to the internet. In the taskbar it shows that I am connected to the network. I open up chrome and you get a DNS error. To solve this problem, I turn off the Tablet and then turn it back on. This happens whenever I wake up.

  • Serious cutting problem with HDMI HD output a7s

I am a filmmaker from THE base and possess an a7s & package Odyssey 7 q + recorder camera.

I just noticed a serious technical problem that must be addressed. When shooting video with the A7s, the component of luminance of the HD which are sent via HDMI signals are cut to 100IRE, no matter what profile picture gamma setting is chosen. I can see it in the waveform, the chrominance information is not cut exceed 100IRE. For example, when I turn the curve of gamma slog2, exposed blue sky just before clipping has kept above blue channel 100IRE, but more balanced information clip of signals (such as a piece of white paper).

This problem does not appear in the output HDMI 4 K or record XAVC-S internal. It is true both of these formats. It is specific to flow out of the HDMI port uncompressed HD video. I'm sure that it is a firmware issue.

This conclusion came after I noticed it during a shoot and have led to extensive testing. I would prefer a real difficulty as opposed to workaround, because it cut a stop of information from the latitude to highlight whenever I have to shoot 60 p or don't want to shoot 4 K.

Apparently, it's a problem with the recorder of Odyssey is not correctly interpret the sony exposure output scaling. Convergent Design is working on a fix to include with their next update of the firmware. I see this problem on Shogun I tested.

  • 13 d-0016nl envy: problems with the HDMI audio

    Dear Sirs,

Due to some problems with an engineering program I had to reinstall Windows 10 on my laptop. The version of Windows is the same of the one installed on the laptop when I bought it. Before the laptop with HDMI audio installation worked fine, but then, while the HDMI video continues to work well, the audio turns off directly from the laptop, such that the cable was not connected.

I tried to activate the 'reproduction devices' HDMI connection, but I'm not able to do this because it's as if the cable is not connected, and the HDMI connection icon appears as gray.

I tried to update the audio driver, but it didn't work, so I tried to download and install the latest version of these drivers from the hp site but neither this worked.

Can you help me? The laptop is quite new and I would like to solve this problem without using 2 different cables to connect also a speaker with a cable to the because the HDMI does not work as it should.

    Thanks in advance,

    Martina.

You are the very welcome, Martina.

It would be the graphics driver you need install the HDMI audio driver...

This package provides the driver that allows graphics Intel high definition (HD) in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

  • Strange sound problem with Satellite L740 TV outputs

I'm having a strange problem here... I googled this several times already, and I only found the same solution mentioned several times and the given solution * not * work is to me.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L740 running Windows 7 Home Edition Premium, with a 64-bit Intel Core i5 - 2410M @ 2.30 GHz CPU and 4 GB of physical RAM. My problem is the following...

There are two different TVs in my house that I regularly connect my laptop via HDMI cable.
The first is mine, and I can get sound through the TV very well when I plug it in.

Sometimes, however, I will disconnect the computer from my TV and not get any sound through the laptop because he's trying to output to external speakers to TV.

More importantly, when I connect my laptop to my * roommate * TV (the same make as mine, you mind), I can not all the sounds of his TV at all.

This is a recent problem. Until this morning, I was able to get noise from two TV very well and only sometimes had problems with sound through the laptop itself, which has been easily resolved by restarting.

It's just a hunch, but it's almost like * doesn't realize that there are two different TVs * that it is connected to my computer. Maybe it's stupid, I don't know, but be it, it's frustrating...

    * ALSO: * I've seen dozens of suggestions that I put my HDMI audio as default device. Yes, I did. It wasn't the issue. Is the same to activate my audio drivers in Device Manager. They are all turned on, so it's not that either. Any ideas?

It's a bit strange if you connect the laptop to two identical televisions and use the same HDMI cable to the TV.

Unfortunately, it all works automatically and I put t know if you can force your laptop to recognize two TVs on the same path.

In the worst case you have to do it manually in the sound properties > playback devices.
If it works with four mouse clicks you can change.

I tested my laptop with two different TVs.
At home, I have a Toshiba TV and at the office we use Sony. On both automatically get sound on the TV speakers.

If you will be able to find the solution please let us know.

  • Satellite U400-11U: no sound with HDMI output

    Hi all

I am the proud owner of a model of satellite U400-11U PSU40E running with Windows Vista.
Recently, I tried to view a video on my TV. To do this, I used the HDMI output of the laptop connected to the TV.

I took care to connect the cable to the TV and only after to the laptop.
Then use the quick access key (Fn + F5), poster image on the TV.
    Unfortunately, there was no noise.

After some googling, I discovered that I needed to activate the HDMI audio output via the control panel of the sound.
Unofrtunatly, when viewing, I have found no output Audio HDMI, but only speakers and another exit (whose name I forgot--sorry).

I tried to update the video and HDMI audio drivers (I noticed that there is a HDMI audio driver in the perpipherals system, which was considered 'work' of Vista), but it changed nothing.

So, what can I do to activate the audio output over HDMI?

    Hello

Please see this FAQ from Toshiba:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB9401B00001R01.htm

You will find an instruction how to solve this problem... it s about Qosmio G30 but I think it should work on U400 too...

The point is that you must set the S/PDIF audio output by default!

And don t forget to RESTART the laptop after the change was made.

    See you soon

  • I have a NVidia GTS450 with HDMI output. When I connected it I had sound & vision. After the first time that I turned off the desktop computer sound options just told me THAT HDMI is not connected?

I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit. It does not seem to recognize the connection although it is really connected and one / v amp is running. I get the desktop on the HD TV but no sound.

    Hello

By default the Vista transmits no sound on HDMI output.  To change this to change the settings in the control panel.

Note: This will turn off sound from speakers or normal audio output on the laptop.  To get that back, you will need to reverse this process.

    a. click on the button 'start '.

    b. click on 'control panel '.
    c. with the control to the "Control Panel Home" Panel, click on 'hardware and sound '.
    d. where it says 'Sound' in green letters, there are three options below that are in blue, click on "manage Audio devices.
    e. This will bring up a window titled "Sound".
    f. on the tab 'Read', he has listed the sound options at your disposal. It should read "peripheral digital output (HDMI)" click on it.
    g. There should now be a checkmark on this option.
    h. the sound should play through your HDMI connections to the TV.

  • Problems with Dell USB - C (DA200) to the HDMI, VGA, RJ45, USB3 adapter

    Hi all

    I guess I'm a little desperate at 01:45 haha...

I just got my XPS 13 9350 and it's great. I bought the USB - C DA200 adpater USB3, RJ45, VGA, HDMI. Unfortunately, I have some difficulty with the device. They are listed below:

    (1) plug, computer does not recognize the device. If I right click and uninstall in Device Manager and do a scan 'new material', it works again - but not for long.

    (2) the device and the Realtek gigabit portion to connect and reconnect every second in Device Manager and it's annoying.

    (3) disabling the wireless card/connection really seems to help the unit to connect and it works 100%. ONLY when the wireless adapter is disconnected.

Basically, windows is to have a real time hard keep this adapter plugged... almost as if he can't recognize it. I tried to install the drivers for the card - nothing. I've updated all the firmware from Dell crush (including the chipset) and the BIOS... nothing. Same thing. If you do a search on google, there are a few discussions on this problem. There is a nice size on Reddit.

Someone has an idea, what happens? It's a real shame that a beautifully designed and expensive adapter does not work with a Dell computer.

    Thank you, AJ

In another thread ("XPS 13 9350 - SSD USB C 3.1 - very unstable/not usable '-I can not add links), the following fixed my XPS 13 9550 problem using a drive HARD USB 3.0 with the Dell USB - C for HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB3.1 adapter:

... the adapter USB - C and WiFi are kind of material and power wise. If you go to the options of the advance of the WiFi adapter and change the WiFi output at 75%, this solves a lot of problems with the connection / disconnection of USB - C questions. Exit at 75% reduction does not affect your connection on wireless networks.

My HARD drive kept connect/disconnect when you use the adapter, but this correction took care of her.

until yesterday everything worked perfectly, but now I can't watch video on my TV (Toshiba REGZA).
TV's with black screen (when the laptop is off - screen is blue).

(TV foto, on all the laptop works perfectly)

on TV, I have 2 HDMI, but neither first second step do not work...

My OS is Windows 7, but I also have tryied on Ubuntu Live CD.

I think the problem is HDMI on laptop, but I don't understand why it works in the BIOS...

    Hello

This means that you can see the page of the BIOS on the TV?
Have you tested the FN + F5 key combination once Windows has started?

  • Problems with the digital input/output

    Hello

I have a little problem with my card PCI-6143. I would use two connectors digital one as a starter and one as an output. Now, I have the problem that I do not know how I address them. The input works as I want but not the output.

As an example. I call my channel output on this name: Dev1/port0 / line0:0.
With this call, the application works very well. If I change the output channel to Dev1/port0 / line4:0 I get an error that the values can be read and 0 and 1 are valid values.
I hope that the call is right, I wrote that out of my head.

My questions are. Is it correct to call a single digital channel with this name?
I'm not sure because I do not understand what these means 'line' and if I allocate really single channel or more.
The second question is, can someone give me an example of how I assign two digital channels (how to address them)?
I know it's maybe an easy question, but I can't seem to get it corrected.

    Hope someone can help me.

    Best regards

The syntax that you use is intended to select several channels: the numbers are the initial and final channel in a subsequent channel list. Thus, written Dev1\port0\line0:4 means 5 lines are included in the read/write (FWIW written 4:0 has the same effect). It is redundant but good writing line0:0, which means a single line, but you can write to Dev1\port0\line0 which is simpler.

This is a help page on this topic.

  • Problem with output 5VDC NI 9411 channel

    Hello

I'm having a problem with output 5VDC NI 9411 channel. According to the specification of the module, it was stated that the module required external power from 5 to 30 VDC. Game of supply the module with the requirement of tension, I am still unable to get the output voltage of the output channels. Does this mean that the output voltage may be available depending on the program?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kind regards

    Mike640

    Hi Mike,.

Thanks for posting on the forum of National Instruments.

You should still be able to get an output voltage in properly feeding the NI 9411 and your external device.

If you don't have a power supply of 5V to power the external device directly, or if you want to simplify the cabling, you can connect an external power supply to the Vsup and COM terminals on the connector terminal block screw NI 9411 and connect the external device to one of the pins Vout + 5. If the external device is already powered, you have not need connect a power supply on the NI 9411 or plug the Vout of + 5 to the external device.

    I hope this helps.
