HDMI 'unplugged '.

I have a laptop Lenovo G470 with Intel core and Radeon Graphics.I recently buy a USB TV STICK UTV 382F. I connect this device with my house t.v CABLE LINE with the intention of watching TV on my laptop. Clearly is showing photos of all channels but no noise is heard on or T.V stick or laptop. I checked my audio device, it says "HDMI not connected". I googled this problem everyone was saying check mine its playback device or uninstall the graphics drivers blah blah blah, but it does not work... I can't put HDMI as value by default so how to solve the problem... ???

Hi Muhammed,

I suggest to disconnect the HDMI cable and try connecting it by following these steps.

a. turn off your computer and place it near your TV. Unplug the monitor, but leave the mouse and keyboard connected.

b. connect the video cable from your computer's output to your TV.

c. turn on your TV and set it to the input that matches the output on your computer. You may need to refer to the supplied with your television user's guide for instructions on how to do it.

d. turn on your computer.

e. you should see windows displayed on your TV. If the screen looks stretched, or part of the screen seems cut off, you will probably have to adjust the screen resolution in Windows.

f. If Windows will appear on your TV, you may need to recon

Thanks for the file INF. I ck'ed for driver updates and I have the latest drivers installed.  I got the sound working on the TV by hanging the audio output of the PC to the entrance of the TV with the HDMI cable in place for video. It's the simplest solution to this problem, so I took it.

  • Need a hdmi to Rca cable to connect to the oldest pioneer flat screen tv

HDMI is the only supported method while there is no guarantee with any converter. Even if it worked you have problems with resolution, aspect ratio and impossibility to view protected content (i.e. iTunes, Netflix). Functionality may cease at any time as well. Better to buy a new TV

  • Does not detect the hdmi cable more (very specific scenario)

    Well then...

Got a monitor 15-HD to hdmi cable and a mac laptop (13 in the retina).

So when I got all that I put it all together and it worked. I left because there a little bit, everything is plugged in and did not return for some time, so my mac fell asleep at the time wherever I went. Disconnected everything to relax on the couch. I went back and all plugged together again except that now the mac does not detect the cable. Tried a bunch of things with it. Restart, unplug the unit, detection manually, etc...

Since the monitor is used and recently purchased cable, I thought time to them to test first. Got a laptop PC and plugged into the cable. The monitor and cable worked.

Tried to connect my mac to the TV with my ps4′s hdmi since I did that a lot before. Also works.

The problem is literally the combination between the cable and the mac. Which is a problem since I got the reason was to serve as my mac.

During my research, I saw that specifically leaving the connected hdmi where sleeps your laptop can spoil it supposed to be... I saw it one time so idk if it's true, but it happened to me... and no, it wasn't really a solution when I came across that. Tried Googling this specific problem, but did not meet anything since my problem seems so specific.

Fast forward to the next day and tried again now that both had little respite between them. Plugged into the HDMI and my laptop starts fading and return to a black screen. The screen would go black usually and so the laptop screen and the monitor would appear once again. sauf_que this time that there not, he just kept it and the monitor has not changed (Yes) it's). Not wanting to let him do that too long I unplugged and tried a different port with an adapter, I have also, since I did 3 holes I could use this for might as well try them all again. But unfortunately, I don't have it trigger anything again. So I went through another round of troubleshooting to try to make it work, but here I am, trying to see if anyone else has had this problem and solved. I am back to wait another day I guess and just hope. If not idk what to do, except maybe to get another cable? I don't know if this would solve it well.

    Hi Lyn11,

Thank you very much for your quick response. Yes, there are ways to find the product # and the n ° of the device.

Please, note it and n ° of the series unit. Don't post not your n ° of set of information on HP forums. Press the fn key (function key) and press "ESC" on the keyboard at the same time to bring up this information.

  • Satellite Pro R50 crashes when you insert the HDMI cable

    Hello

I have been using my R50 Pro Satellite (8.1 Windows 64-bit) for about a year now and there is a problem I'm hard to solve.

Whenever I plug a HDMI cable into the laptop, the machine hangs with a black screen. Unplug the cable does not return the laptop to its previous state and does not accept orders from the keyboard. I am therefore forced to reset the machine.

On this forum (and some others), the first suggestion is often to download the latest Intel drivers, what I did on this site:

    http://www.Toshiba.co.UK/innovation/...jsp?service=UK

so, I am reasonably confident that my machine is up to date in this regard.

I'm sure this problem has been encountered before, I did not find a solution yet.

    Any ideas?

    David

Try the latest graphic driver for www.intel.com
    Also update the BIOS.

  • Satellite Pro C850 - 1 K 3 can't connect to a TV via an HDMI cable

If I use either F4/the windows key + P and select duplicate or PC screen only (or another option) and then plug it into the TV, so the laptop screen and the TV screen are blank. By pressing any key does not display anything on my laptop screen, then when I unplug the HDMI cable that it happens with the second screen only option highlighted. My laptop strangely ignores what I click and returns continually to this option and unfortunately, I can't project the screen on any monitor (I tried 4 separate monitors).

My laptop was able to be plugged into a TV and I did this several times, but as far as I know this stopped when I had a windows 8.1 update (my assumption, I don't know). I searched the web for solutions, and none have worked. I tried the method of detection of the monitor through the resolution on the desktop option, but again, this cannot be done because I don't see anything on the screen when my laptop is plugged into any TV, and I tried many times.

    Any help is appreciated

    Thank you very much

I use Toshiba laptops a few years now and what I can say is that you need to connect your laptop to the TV first, select the right port on the TV and then use key FN or F to change between TV Office laptops and connected.
Connected TV or another external device must be established first.

    Please test once more.

  • PS3 suddenly not working with HDMI - HP Pavilion 22bw

I recently bought a HP Pavilion 22bw 21.5 inch monitor so that I can connect my PS3 and PC up to it at the same time, (HDMI and DVI with respect). Things worked great this day until today.

I installed a game on my PS3 hard drive and switched on my PC. After about 20 minutes, I went back and the screen is blank. I restarted my PS3 and notcied that, if the HDMI output, has been detected (no), the screen remains black and the native control screen were flashing. Switch on my PC and everything was fine.

I tried everything I could on the end of the PS3 (reset to the default values and all) and still no dice. I plugged it up to our flat screen in livinging room and it works like a charm. Plug back on my monitor after that showed no improvmenet.

So, the PS3 seems fine, that cable HDMI itself looks very good as well. So that leaves just M. Monitor. I did have a problem with it before this time and I am infact my PC and monitor using right now to type this message. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

It's very strange... have you tried to unplug the monitor and let it rest for a while and then by plugging it back?

  • Satellite Pro L650 - 1 CG-output HDMI not working not

    Laptop: Toshiba Satellite Pro L650 - 1 CG, Intel i3 - 350 M, ATI 5650, 4 GB RAM, 320 HARD drive

When I connect my laptop to my HD Toshiba TV and select 'Connect to a projector', all I get on the TV is a black screen.
Catalyst Control Center can 'see' the TV and I can adjust the options of resolution for both screens, but no matter what options I try, I can't the TV to show a picture / sound.

The TV is obviously detected SOMETHING, because it goes from a blue screen to black. Device Manager, I can see the HDMI Codec but even though he says he is activated, I can't put it as default. It says below that it's 'unplugged', and when I run the HDMI control program, it says "To use the HDMI control, you must activate it".

I have all the latest ATI drivers / sound, as well as virtually all the drivers up to date there. In addition, there is nothing wrong with the cable or my TV, my PS3 is using the same connection.

    Hi were reluctant,

Normally, you can switch between monitors or switch to an external monitor only when you press the FN + F5 key combination.

In addition, I would recommend turning on the external monitor first, then switch on the laptop. You can also choose the right channel to HDMI in on your TV. Then, press FN + F5 to switch to your TV.

  • Tecra M11-103 - no sound on TV with HDMI

    Hello world
    I really need your help,

Until today, that I used a mini adapter displayport to HDMI to connect my Tecra M11-103 to the TV while doing something today that happened and all of a sudden, I got video with no sound on the tv when I tried to unplug the device and plug it in again, he would show at all and would not recognize the tv in the future...

Now when I go to the windows Mobility Center when the cable is conneceted as usual, I predd on connect monitor, it behaves as if there is an external display, but on the display when trying to identify the motiors example I plugged under the option double screen.
so he recognizes my laptop as external screen and the pc monitor...
Way the easiest would be to display an image on the screen of what I see, but I can't do it here...

Anyway all of a sudden he tells me it's a vga connection, regardless of wethear or not theres even a cable connected...
I need to recover my back... mini display port where I can c what happened if its damaged or something please Ive spent hours trying to sort and nothing works... it isn't the TV for sure...
I run windows 7 pro 64 bit and I tried to restore the operating system...

    thnx
    Etty

    Hello

Generally the connection to the TV shouldn't be very difficult.
Must connect two devices with a compatible cable, and then you have to go to the external video output using the FN + F5 key combination.

In addition, you can check the sound settings in the control panel-> sound-> the Read tab.
Here, you choose a digital output (hdmi) as default setting.

My other idea is that something could be wrong with the display driver.
Try to reinstall the graphics driver and check if it helps.

It s worth also set the BIOS to the default settings, I doubt that the BIOS could be the problem here, but it of certainly worth a try...

  • Qosmio X 770/00 X - output HDMI stopped working

    Satellite of Qosmio X 770/00 X - HDMI problem

My external monitor works well as office extended for more than a year now, - up to that I turned on my laptop of setting standby extended today.

The external monitor does not wake up after I logged in my computer.

HP x 2301 external monitor connected via HDMI. Laptop detects the presence of the monitor, monitor detects the presence of a HDMI connection.

Monitor indicates 'no signal' and back to 'sleep' mode.

Reports of laptop monitor is properly connected and that the different modes are active.

Monitor works fine when using VGA connection between the monitor and the laptop.

I hear material disconnect/connect "Dong" from time to time despite NOTHING being connected/disconnected.

I have tried to unplug the monitor, plug back, setting screen resolution, exchange between extend and duplicate patterns, restart, turn off the power, changing the order of power, replacing the HDMI cable.

I suspect a faulty HDMI port.

Hmm, sounds like HDMI port number but I think you should try workarounds just to be 100% sure of this anomaly.

    First of all, try this.

Turn off the laptop. Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.
Press and hold the button for 30 seconds approximately. Then connect the pieces and turn the power on the unit. Now, go to BIOS (F2) and set it to default settings. Save the changes and start the machine. Now test the HDMI connection, once more.

Where the HDMI wouldn t work, I would recommend you to retrieve the computer laptop back to factory settings. To do this, you must use the (medium) Toshiba Recovery disk or the HARD drive recovery procedure. Both procedures would format the HARD drive and therefore, you should back up your important data before performing the recovery.

Feedback and mate good luck would be appreciated.

  • Toshiba 58L9363DF - 4k@60 and HDMI 2.0 Firmware

    Hello

I have a 58L9363DF with the latest firmware which says:

    **
    SW version: 7.11.80.35.05.1 - 0211:
This version supports the input with 3840x2160@60Hz ("HDMI2.0") HDMI signals.
Unzip the two files to a blank USB, unplug the power cable, insert the USB key to the TV and the power on the Board.
Updates will be detected and run through consecutively.
    **

    And I can not 4k@60 running :'(

I have a RK3288 Android TV Box with HDMI 2.0 out and I just tried it with my new PC with GeForce GTX 970 also with HDMI 2.0 (which works 4K@60 on other HDMI2 4 k such as Samsun TV)

And the max resolution is always 4K@30
    I tried with 4 HDMI inputs :'(

You know more about this update?
    Each port is supported?
This is the TV really give the info that 4 k 60 is supported?
You have no evidence of a run of 60 4K on this TV and with what device?

  • HDMI not connected

When I plug the HDMI cable I have no problem looking at my Mac on the TV screen. Once in awhile, it does not and the display shows not 'connected', while the Mac screen has no 'fear' as it usually does when you plug in the HDMI cable. I tried 1. repair disk utility, restart, unplug the TV, but these measures do not help. I usually try the next day and it works as usual. The problem is clearly with the computer because my 2nd TV reacts the same thing. What is the problem?

    Hi there keskeskeksa,

Looks like you connect your TV to your computer and it does not work exactly as it should. I would use the troubleshooting steps in the following article:

Get help with graphical problems on external displays connected to your Mac.

Restart your Mac in safe mode to reset the default display resolution.

If booting safe mode doesn't resolve the problem, reset your Mac NVRAM and SMC to reset the video ports on your Mac to their default values.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

  • Toshiba L 40, 6353 - no signal HDMI using other input sources

I have toshiba L 40, 6353 and strange problem with toshiba and my cable box.
On my previous LCD, I had no such problem.

If I turn off my TV or change to another source of entry for longer then 5-10 minutes and return to the HDMI from my cable box I get the message "no signal". I have to turn my stb or unplug hdmi and taken back to return to picture.

The decoder is not a problem because on the other TV it works fine.
I can always change the channel on that (display on the stb itself) but my toshiba led displays no signal.
I have my PC connected to an hdmi port and do not have this problem

    So far I have tried:
to connect my cable box to each of 4 ports HDMI and the same issue.
to disable the power management feature everything related to extinguish. Even 'turn if no signal' for each port individually.

    any ideas?

I have Toshiba 40 TV but the other model. I use STB too and two other HDMI ports for Blu - Ray player and my laptop.
Everything works OK and I'm happy that I don't have this problem HDMI on my TV.

It is unclear to me that there is something you can change in the settings. Have you tried to test the functionality of HDMI ports by using another high-quality HDMI cable or other external devices such as a DVD or Blu - Ray player?

It will be interesting to know if problem occurs with the use of your decoder only.

  • Problems with HDMI Port 3/4 on Toshiba 46xv733

    HY everybody,

When I try to connect a device (PC, Xbox, or PS4) HDMI1 or HDMI2 (where everything is fine) for HDMI3 or HDMI4 I can't make them work properly. Resolution passes something a cable not only 30 Hz. When I try to change the resolution (on PC) the photo does not match the screen (for large or too small).

I searched throu the documentation and the Web but can't find info HDMI3/HDMI4 are different from HDMI1/HDMI2.

    The TV is Toshiba 46xv733.

Any suggestion on how to solve this problem would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

In [User Guide | http://www.toshiba-om.net/LCD/PDF/English/XV733-32374046-English.pdf] you can find some information that certain HDMI devices at the beginning may not work properly with your latest HDMI TV due to the adaptation of a new standard.

In this case you must unplug your HDMI cable first, and then try the two options settings. INSTAPORT content type and turn off.
You start HDMI source should work with your TV.

The HDMI 3 seems to be a little different from the HDMI 1 and 2.
3 HDMI supports digital and analog sound.
    HDMI 1 / 2 / 4 supports digital audio ONLY.

The HDMI 3 must be used in order to receive sound from a PC connected (via HDMI to DVI cable).
