  I ordered this laptop about 4 weeks ago and don't have fact/installed yet. Only different Poker-software, - cat and a ton of music from my old notebook software. That's all that I use it.
  But since the first day, this portable crushes regularly, at first I thought that it freezes only when I am very busy, using a lot of RAM or try opening a program or some such but now, I realized that those freezes are completely independent of anything and they just come and go.
  How will the freeze: it freezes completely, monitor, mouse, sound (the last ~ 5ms of current music / whatever she either are repeated constantly, like a buzzing noise vey)
  I have to stop it by pressing the power button for a long time. When I restart it sometimes displays the message: operating system not found. When I restart it again later, it still works.

  Anyone any idea? I could send it back and get a new one, couldn't I?

  To be honest I don't understand what you want. As far as I know, Qosmio X 500 has a HDMI port and it works in the audio/video OUTPUT port. This means that you can connect your laptop, LCD TV and have perfect pic and sound quality of your TV.

  If you want to play Playstation Games on laptop screen that I don't know how you want to send the signal in Notepad using this OUTPUT port.

  Welcome to the Support Forums!

  Are you using the browser (Google) stock on a very regular or frequent basis? If Yes, brief gel is a known problem due to a memory leak in the stock browser that Google has not yet difficult (there are under all versions of Android OS to date). Basically, the continuous browser to consume your memory over time, based on the sites you visit and the length of time, it is active, which makes the system pause/freeze periodically. There are two ways to deal with this, either install a third-party browser (such as FireFox, Dolphin, Opera, Chrome, etc.) or if you really prefer the stock browser, restart your Xoom every two days (to clear/free memory and cache).

  Apart from the browser, a third party application of thugs can cause this as well (especially if there are conflicts). The rule of this point, try to use a surveillance (as SystemPanel) application to monitor what is active in memory when you encounter the gel. Close active applications one by one until your gel goes and then locate the updated versions.

• Satellite P875-102 - touch pad / cursor freezes regularly for 2-3 sec

  Very happy to get very new P75-102 Toshiba (Windows 7) - £1. 1 k - WAITED so it works well immediately the day 1 - from the box. Unfortunately, the cursor on a regular basis (either 5 - 6 times in a surf web minutes) hangs for 2 to 4 seconds. Everyone knows that with this very recent machine?

  This has nothing to do with the speed / sensitivity settings - it is intermittent gel that makes use of the laptop really frustrating. The official troubleshooting says that the system could be busy - but I have nothing else running and the CPU usage is minimal, no surprise given the power to the computer. Help, please!

  From my personal experience this could happen due to stressed CPU.
  Even if you do not use a heavy performance, the NECK may be stressed due to the background processes that should be launched when the laptop starts
  So I would recommend checking the processes in the process tab (CTRL + ALT + DELETE) Task Manager.
  Here you can see which process stresses the CPU and can disable it if possible.

  Jump down to the paragraph "Root Update Package (designed for Windows XP only)" and download the updated certificates root from the indicated link.  After downloading the file, double-click it to install it.  With certificates installed up-to-date, if all goes well, he don't keep trying to download all the minutes.

• HP HDX 1180-CA

  I bought the HP HDX - CA 1180, one of top entertainment page of the HP laptops. Since I bought the laptop I found that this machine is incompatible. And same problem keep happneing.

  I called HP, first tech was ugly, Mager as I have no idea what computer is subject. Called the 2nd time, the guy was so nice to replace the disk hard disk check Fail tough test. I went to the futureshop, they replace the entire computer. I came home, when I was in Netmeeting system hanged again. Now I don't know what to do with this machine as it slow performaing and keep freezing.

  It cannot install retired on windows as it was designed only for VISTA.

  HP EVEN DO NOT WANT OT PROVIDE HARD WARE SPECIFICATION, card SPECIFICATION STATA PARENT controller.

• HP HDX 16 t Premium - screen goes black after a few seconds

  Just today my screen started going black out of no where (when I played StarCraft 2, a high-performance PC game.) Now, he's doing regularly (after a few seconds to about one minute.) It's almost as if my computer goes into mode 'sleep' but I can't wake up. This happens less often when I put the brightness of my screen on a lower setting, and tends to fade before going to black instead of going just instantly black. I also have an external monitor attached, and when my laptop monitor goes black the external display remains lit and fully operational.

  Some things to note:

  -The power cord is attached and plugged in, and turned on my computer.

  -J' have a cooling block and my computer is not overheating.

  -The battery has full juice.

  -J' tried to restart my computer several times and still have the same problem.

  -C' is the case even when I'm not running high performance games or programs.

  -My settings to be able to tell my computer never sleep, decrease intensity after 10 minutes (5 minutes for the battery) and the screen turns off after 20 minutes (15 minutes on the battery.)

  -When the laptop screen is on the brightest display settings, it seems to be flickering.

  I did some research and it seems to be a problem with the LCD capacitors going bad. If anyone can check this? If this is the case, is there a way I can replace and where would I do my shopping?

• HDX 16: Blu - ray is stopped playing HDCP compatible TV as monitor extended

  Have a new TV Vizio, which is certainly HDCP, I use my HP HDX 16 as a blu - ray player for.  I played a Blu - ray disc very well two weeks ago.  In the meantime, I detached from the laptop and connected to a compatible monitor non HDCP for some basic computer in my office.  I also installed software for a Lenovo N5901 wireless Mini-keyboard.  Last night, I put in place 16 HDX to the Vizio, and now it won't play blu - ray.  It behaves exactly like when I learned that my desktop monitor is not HDCP... the screen on the Vizio is a fast blink, while it behaves as if the video cable has been disconnected.

  • Blu - ray will not play via Windows Media Center on the Vizio software or HP Media Smart
  • Can I have the HDX 16 display put in place a monitor scope, and play Blu - ray Windows Media Center HP Media Smart and on this screen.
  • I can drag the video playback window and have the majority on this subject on the screen of HDX 16; the part on the HDX 16 film, the part of the window on the Vizio is black

  This assumes that you are running Windows 7.

  Download the latest installer for MediaSmart DVD on the link below and save it to your desktop.

  FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp50501-51000/sp50935.exe

  Then go to windows control panel, open programs and features and uninstall HP MediaSmart DVD.

  If you do not have an extraction utility installed, download and install 7-Zip.  Right click on the installation program you download, select Extract 7 - Zip, select the files, and then click Ok.  Open the newly extracted folder, open src and scroll down until you see the application setup ( 6th in the background with a size of 310 KB ).  This Application Configuration right click and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once the installation is complete, restart the computer and see if you can now read your Blu - ray discs.

• NTBackup running in a script Pre gel

  I thought I'd be smart NTBackup and incorporate into the backup script before freezing to an Active Directory VM. What the script works specifically a NTBackup of the State of the system on the local disk and then copy the backup file to a remote file share. If an error is generated when executing the script, the script Pre gel returns the error number before you leave (which means that if any sort of error NTBackup, the regular backup every night of the virtual machine will be not held). I tried this idea in the test environment, and it works most of the time. However, sometimes a VSS 12301 (no response from GatherWriterStatus) error, but despite the error the NTBackup ends very well. So I changed the script Pre gel to ignore all occurrences of error of 12301 (a 0 is returned).

  So what I what to know is, is it a good idea or a bad idea? I thought everything would be fine because the NTBackup must complete before when the disks are suspended (due to the nature of the gel Pre script).

  What a great idea! I have recommended NTBackup to DCs running long - since win2000 days. He has never even occurred to me to add it to the pre-antigel script.

  Regarding your VSS error, it is recommended to use standby on transactional systems, such as AD, SQL, and Exchange. I would like to add the "q 0 ' option to your command of vcbMounter for this virtual machine. (Undocumented, means no suspend - thanks to depping for this one!)

  If you do backups with a VCB integration kit, you may also uninstall the VSS provider and the sync on this virtual machine driver.

• InDesign freezes regularly

  I use CS4 on Mac OS 10.5.8.  My computer is an IMac Intel DuoCore with 1 GB of Ram and 250 GB Hard Drive with 111 GB free.

  On a regular basis while using InDesign, click on any menu item will trigger the spinning wheel of color and then the program crashes.  Sometimes I can get it to stop with force quit but generally the only way out that the situation is to do a closed hard, certainly not what I prefer to do.

  I have checked the messages of "console" and find the error message following many times.

  < error >: data parameter CGImageSourceCreateWithDataProvider sucks

  I searched the internet without answer as to how it comes to InDesign.  I can find it in other programs but no InDesign.

  Can someone give me a clue as to what is the cause and what should I do to fix it.

  I don't get this same freeze, but my first reaction by getting the weird behavior of gel is to delete the font cache files (there are a couple of utilities that do this, I use do Xplorer but I think that there is a standalone utility), then delete the preferences (when starting Indesign, hold down command-option-shift-control). And you can use the utility disk for "repair permissions on your disk.

  Create a new brand of 'user' and see if the problem is there when you sign in as a new user (this creates all the new libraries, so if something is damaged it it will be fixed) but I didn't get to this measure to date.

  Usually, something will fix it and then I don't worry about it until the next time...

  the only solution is to remove the regular lots to remove from the RQM.

  the steps are:
  1. on the middle tier computer, highlight reports queue manager and connect to the current report server used by OC: start > programs > Oracle Application Server forms and reports Services - 10 g > Reporting Services > reports queue manager
  2. in Options > logon administrator, log in as administrator
  3. choose display all scheduled tasks (this will display all scheduled tasks independently of the user OC who had the request and submitted - owner will be OPAREPS)
  4 right-click on these jobs, will provide the opportunity to remove the > select which application you want to delete and then right click and delete the queue
  5 restart the PSUB service

  Since last week my Magic Mouse is losing connection with my iMac (OS X Sierra) pretty regularly--several times each hour, sometimes more often - the connection is only lost for 5-10 seconds, but it's a lot of time when you're trying to work.   If your Magic Mouse is version 1 (with batteries), it won't be to fully integrate with Sierra.   You can buy Magic Mouse 2 for that.   Because all future operating systems need, you may as well buy now.
