He had to get rid of the fake site Mandiant U.S. Cyber-Security.

Firefox has been infected by a Web site that will open when Firefox opens and can be closed in an ordinary way. I had to go to the Windows Task Manager to get out of the screen, but if I open Firefox, it appears again. It shows the suspicious address "gov.us-cybersecurity.com/go/" and claims to be affiliated with the FBI. It is imperative that amount paid through MoneyPak. This is obviously false, but it is a real nuisance. I tried to clean the cache - no help. Tried to uninstall Firefox, hoping to be able to reinstall a clean browser - but can't uninstall.

Even though I prefer Firefox, I submit this thru for Internet Explorer, that I will continue to use it until I have to find a way to clean up Firefox.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

    Hello

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be harder to detect as
    the cause.

No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one

    Hello

One way to solve the problem would be to backup your important data (redundancy) and then re - install
Windows after formatting the drive. Check with the manufacturer of your system's support to see what you need to do
that (and you probably already have what is necessary). You can buy the installation discs for Windows in the system
machine cheaply if necessary since you already own windows.

    =====================================

Another method would be to ensure that the malware is detected and deleted with internet access being
    restored.

Try typing several times F8 as you start and select a Safe Mode with networking. If that works to proceed to the
methods below. (You can try wired access and wireless if you have both available). If this does not work
then use another computer to download the drivers and the necessary programs and transfer them to your machine

  • PAVILION 17-F136DS: get rid of the beats audio HP PAVILION F136DS 17

I am very disappointed with HP decieving customers with this bat audio driver. How can I remove it on the 17-F136DS PAVILION model? I tried to use the methods for other models of hp but cannot find the codec of high deffinitions idt in Device Manager. Just uninstall the driver from realtek audio of your installed programs and restart the computer. It automatically installs a standard audio driver on its own. • Uncdms.dll is now redundant? How to get rid of the error message if so?

I had to reinstall my Wndows XP Media Edition 2 or 3 times so far and the error message appears after each start that ' Windows XP cannot find the uncdms.dll file search, please reload '...» How, if it is not the responsibility of the backup first (and why not?)

The platform of my system is Windows XP Media Edition SP 3 and is up to date.

I'm sorry to hear your story of misfortune.  Indeed, you have been the unfortunate victim of a scam.

I have actually seen reports of others who have had the missing uncdms.dll error still could not find Windows Search in Add/Remove programs.

It is not clear what are your XP Media Center "backup disks.  You can use these to make a facility 'clean' of Windows (which involves formatting your drive) you probably should do.  Of course, you will need to back up all your data (documents, music, photos, etc.) and reinstall applications that were not pre-installed.

Given the history with the applications 'security' and 'Speed Up' (for not to mention being "riddled with viruses"), this is one of those cases where a format and re - install of Windows is certainly justified.

I suspect that, however, that all these discs are, they don't let you do a "clean install".  If they did, you would not have seen the persistent uncdms.dll error.

You have a few ways to get the computer to its State 'cost-of-the-factory '?

So... instead of doing a format and a clean install, I see three possible approaches to get rid of the error uncdms.dll:

    1. open Add / Remove programs then check the box at the top to 'See the updates'.  It is possible that Windows Search is classified as a Windows "update" and will show when these normally hidden entries.

    2. download Windows Search using the link in my previous post and install it.  Because I've never used Windows Search, I don't know if it will install properly in your case.  Malke, which I'm sure expertise said to uninstall before reinstalling, but you can't do that.  If it installs correctly the error message will disappear and (b) you will probably be able to uninstall.

    3. download, install and run Autoruns.  This utility shows practically all items that start at Windows startup.  But for the fact that uncdms.dll is known to be associated with Windows Search, this is the solution I would have proposed first.

After Autoruns has finished its scan (it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner), click the 'Connection' tab and look for an entry that is associated with Windows Search.  If you do not see Windows Search, look for uncdms.dll in the right column.  If you cannot find either of these items, click the "all" tab and use the search tool on the file menu to search for these terms.

If you find an entry for Windows Search and/or uncdms.dll, uncheck the box at the left end of the line.  This will prevent the point of trying to start at Windows startup and will make the error to go away.

For question 2, the short answer is no.  Uninstall the "Windows security provision.

For question 3, you must provide the full error message.  In addition, please identify which application you are currently using as an antivirus, and if his "subscription" is up-to-date.  You use other antimalware applications?

You should do a destructive restore of your recovery partition, ensuring that you save your important things first.

This is how the recovery partition is available for the most popular brands

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

You may need to try several times to get everything above to work. If after several attempts, you have no chance, or the machine indicates that there is no recovery partition, your only option is to contact the computer manufacturer and ask for the model recovery discs...

After the reset, you should get all the updates from Windows Update EXCEPT for hardware devices. Then, you install a good antivirus. ONLY AFTER you have done this, if you replace the stuff of backups or install anything else.

You should also have updated your Bank and had all the cards from existing bank replaced...
