  I have this weird error. I have the audio text to speech in my classes. I don't want the PlayBar of captivate. So I have buttons in the content to navigate forward.   Disable the compression options in the preferences one by one and publish again until you see the results.  It is usually the advanced project Compression option that is responsible.

  I have a slide in captivate 4 that contains several boxes that appear in the same place as the last when we click on an "ok" button (I use the chronology of fade in and out relevant legends). The customer asked when you get to the final, a watch reset button which will reload the current slide, so you could read it again, if you need (weird!).

  I'm sure the answer is obvious in the face but can't find a relevant action for the button. Could someone help please!

  Hi Chris,

  Try to resolve your problem:

  slide1 is the slide where - that you want a button that takes the departure of slide1.

  1 have a fake Blade (say D slide) just before the slide 1.

  2 have a button on slide 1 which would have 'Jum'a drag' action and would take the user to the D slide.

  3. ask to "go to the slide" action on the OnSlideEnter bone slide D and go to slide 1.

  I have 4 buttons set in place on the last slide of Film1, functioning as a simple menu, sort of.

  First button goes to Movie 2, second button jumps to 5 film, third button jumps to 8 film, with a last button SHOWS ALL from 2 film as well. All these movies are related to each other (ie. 3 movie begins when ends the movie 2).

  How can I get the Film1 stop on the last slide, with all 4 buttons remaining active?

  In my published exe, the buttons work if and only if I click on them, until the project stops.

  Please make sure that the buttons have activated pause. (It is possible to disable)

  Assuming that they have activated pause, they should pause and wait for the user to click on them before you continue. If a break has been disabled, probably made in the box Inactive playhead of the button and it no longer works.

  I had some problems for a while now with Captivate 6, when I recorded a demo and when reading it through F12 or after publication, I am faced with a kind of double exposure, where I can see parts of a previous slide and the current slide parts.

  I tried to clear the cache, close the program and restart and it is always the case.  The problem is that this is not the case all the time.  However he has spent too much time on this project that I am pulling out my hair with it.

  Make sure that the full version of Captivate should be 6.0.1.240 or 6.1.0.319 (help > about adobe captivate)

  Click a slide in the film and change the quality of the blade to 24 bits or optimized, then do so for each slide.

  Then click on edit > Preferences > SWF size and quality > be of custom and uncheck compress SWF file and disable the advanced file compression.

  Then re publish once again and the release check "Force republish all slides.

• Restart the Widget slide

  Thanks for the research.

  I was just curious if there was a way to create a widget that would just reread the current slide.  Essentially, at the end of each slide, I want to give the user the possibility to go to the next slide, go back a slide or restart the current slide.

  Now, I know theoretically they could just go back and then forward, but I would prefer that streamline for users and just a reset if possible slide button.

  I have a little research around this forum and google and has been surprised to not really get what it is.

  Also, as an aside, anyone else experienced problems in the strange place widgets on slide masters?  I tried to put a button 'Next' on a master slide, then link all the slides to the slide, but when I do captions on a timeline in a random slide slide one break and the button is not always functional.  I find that I could do the functional key in ensuring that this is the 'top', but that still doesn't explain why it would stop a slide in halfway with no user interaction.

• FLV window remains on the other slides (Captivate 3)

  I'm having a problem with my Captivate 3 project with a progressively downloaded flv on the first slide, which is synchronized with the games project and auto. When I go to the next slide (maybe using the button 'next' in the PlayBar, or if she auto-sauts to the next slide at the end of the current slide), it leaves a white box instead the flv video file which is in front of all other slides in content and there's the rest of the project.

  Briefly, I came across this program in a recent project.  Like all things Captivate, I wrote to chalk it up to one of its eccentric bugs.  And like most of its bugs, there is sometimes no explain, and you're lucky if she goes with simple re-publishing/rendering of the slide.  The things that I tried were a) reimport and republish b) change the duration of the video to 'play the video full' to 'play during a specific time.  A combination of these two made disappear...

  You can remove the Captivate PlayBar and create your own navigation using buttons etc. Then, you are able to define exactly when you want the buttons to appear and restrict the user to ignore the content.

  You can disable the Captivate PlayBar in the skin Editor (SHIFT + F11)
