    Hello

To be honest, I can't imagine that the helmet only works on Skype then please can you what program you use for listening music? Please try with another reading software.

Maybe reinstall the driver of sound and webcam can solve this problem (microphone is a part of the webcam). Check it!

In the worst case, you must reinstall Windows using Toshiba recovery disc. With the settings, it should work well.

    Hello

You must first check the Toshiba drivers for the last sounddrivers download page. Download and check if the problem occurs again. If not, everything is OK, but if not then come back and we'll talk more about your problem.

  • I can't get my headphones to work

I can't get my headphones to work

    Hi Justin,

1 have you made changes to your computer recently?
    2. What is the operating system installed on your computer?
    3. you receive an error message when you try to use your helmet?

I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Follow the steps and check if that helps.
    (a) plug the headphones into the socket and then right click on the volume icon in the system tray.
    (b) click "reading devices".
    (c) check if the headphone is displayed in the list of playback devices.
    (d) if so, try him affecting the value "Default" for use.

Step 2: If the headset is not listed, it is possible that the headphone jack is damaged or the sound card driver is not compatible with Windows 7. Try updating the sound card drivers and check whether the problem is resolved.

    Hello

    ·          The headset works fine on another computer?

    ·          You are able to use the headset with any other application?

    ·          Is - what the computer speakers are working well?

    ·          The headset worked fine before?

This could be a problem with the headphones itself, you can contact the manufacturer for the same thing.

  • No sound from the speakers, but the headphone jack works fine

Original title: computer with no sound

My computer has no sound coming from the speakers, but the headphone jack works fine. Can someone help me with this?

    Hi jbreezy,.

We recommend you to check if the speaker is defined as default playback on your computer device. To do this, try the following steps:
    a. right click on the sound/volume icon in the right corner of the task bar, then click on "adjust audio properties".
    b. click on the Volume tab, click Advanced under Speaker settings, select the speaker and click ok.
    c. click on the tab Audio, audio playback device, select default.
    d. click apply and then click ok.
    e. check if the problem persists.

  • My headphone port works not

the headset I tried to work on any other device, but not this laptop. even, the lap top does not record that the headphones are connected. I tried all the stuff I saw this site to recommend. None of this has worked. This is a fairly old laptop, and this has been a problem that has persisted.

    Hi Ncleknt,

1 when was the last time it was working fine?

    2. the internal speakers work well?

    3. did you of recent changes on the computer?

I suggest that you connect other headphones to the port and check if it works.

If using the internal speakers, then the ports do not work and you will need to get in touch with the laptop manufacturer for assistance.

  • Sound with headphones not working not properly.

The problem started a couple of days. There is nothing of what happened past that would stand out or give reason to the cause:

It is static in the right of my helmet speaker. I tried 3 different helmet and static is always there. There is no static in my right speaker on my laptop so I think this has something to do with the headphone jack.

The static method only appears when I start audio. Whether music, a video, a game or any type of noise background what whatsoever. The static method then goes if all items sound turns off (after about 5 seconds) or if I completely disable my volume (mute).

I tried minor ways to 'clean up' my helmet on my laptop plug; as blowing inside to relax any dust that would have gotten inside, and I used a Q-Tip to see if there was anything else beside. It is perfectly clean. And I used my headphones plugged in permanently, there is little chance of dust (or anything else besides) do.

My audio drivers are up to date, and I ran a program to test my speakers/headphones to see if there are known issues. He came back clear.

my laptop is only a few years old (had some time in 2009 I think) it is not that I am unlucky and my headphones are broken, because I tested my friends helmet too, and he has no problem with them.

If it's a hardware problem, what are my options. Also, is there anything I can do to try to find out what else could be the cause of this?

This static: static electricity is not like empty it on a TV on a channel. He is usually quiet (but sometimes it will jump and be so strong that I can barely hear the sound out of it.) Generally very well I hear sound out of it, but there's always this constant static "whistling" noise. It isn't the same whistle or the other, it turns into volume and (I assumed that vibration is a good word to describe it) but it is always still there.

    Hey Devin,

You can open the sound properties to see if a level is turned upward.

Have you tried reinstalling the driver for the sound card?

Even if they are up to date, it can be damaged.
