  I downloaded a program called Styler which changes the appearance to look like Windows 7 or Royal themes. It worked fine for the first days, until that day when my laptop could not start after hibernation, so I hard-rebooted, and the horizontal size of the taskbar button is too small. I have tried rebooting, changing the appearance back, locking/unlocking/resizing components of taskbar, AND I removed the Styler. I wish I could send a screenshot. Yes, I have these vertical bars displayed and all, and no, they do not change it. I use as a separate program called AlienGUIse Alienware, which has not had a problem in 2 years, I got it, and it didn't fix it either.

  It's as if there are many buttons it congestion because the function "Group similar taskbar buttons" is still active. I posted the picture of the problem in my profile.

  Try a system restore to before installing Styler. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  I could be missing something really simple here, and frankly I would happily have egg on my face if somebody can tell me the solution.

  I am inserting an adobe Edge Composition in a Web site of fluid HTML5 with basic content (using Dreamweaver), right...?

  Everything seems to work fine until reduce you the site... like the scales of the page toward the bottom of the scale of composition of edge too, which is great! Except that the composition of edge leaves an empty space below its original height! So my question is, how do I get the height to do not leave a blank in his height when he evolves down? Here's what I've tried so far... 

  1. Check the width/height of the composition animate edge has the value % including the element of the scene and all it's components
  2. Tried to adjust the height to 'auto' for the CAO of the object inside dreamweaver - this does not seem to be very 'auto' at all and just gives a default height which is not enough to see everything anyway.
  3. Changed parameters min/max
  4. Tried scaling javascript method of http://sarahjustine.com/2013/04/08/create-scale-to-fit-projects-with-Adobe-edge-animate/ Works fine, but also leaves white space under the file when placed in a website with content and updated on the scale
  5. Height adjustment of the border object in DW using CSS, it is close, but it is more sensitive to certain resolutions, I'm after a quite fluid solution.

  Surely I'm missing just something simple? Someone at - it an example of this working properly inside a web page with the content of Basic for example? As most of the examples edge doesn't go beyond the tests just the animated project of edge by itself in a browser, in which case this seems to work perfectly too.  I need of them being placed in a website, for example the image sliders made with edge, which can evolve within a Web site base fluid.

  This should be a post on the Dreamweaver Forum, but I have to start somewhere, thanks in advance for your time.

  So what you see is a browser associated CSS problem. application of a transformation recalculates the size of the item (#Stage), which is why the elements listed under don't reflow.

  When the tutorial in writing is one of the first things I spotted (and THE MORE boring to understand) but the code included in the example files in the tutorial that recalculates the container parent of the scene is placed in. If your code should look like this to make it work properly:

  (the are just there for reference.)

  If you download the example on the page tutorial files I have also included the demo HTML files with embedded in the page Animate composition. Take a look at this code, and it should give some additional information.  Basically, you just wrap the scene in another div and you should be fine.

• Update caused Firefox tab height double in size

  Firefox automatically put to update to the latest version of 12.0. I've never had problems with its updates so far. My Installer use the add-on "Tree Style Tab" last which organizes the tabs vertically in a style of the tree. There are no functional problem with it. My main problem is that the tabs are too big (discontinuities) for my hundreds of tabs open. She went from normal size to inflated, its practically unusable for me.

  I need a way to cancel this particular change. I use the default theme (12.0 strata) and I would like to continue to use the default value, but if no other corrections are available I think change the theme would be my next choice.

  These solutions did not work. No more than changing the theme to a more compact.

  But I was able to solve my problem by configuring the add-on "Tree Style Tab" to be in mode "Vertigo":

  Menu 'Tools'-> Add-ons-> Tree Style Tab-> 'Options'-> 'Skin of the tab bar' section-> "Vertigo" by scrolling all the way to the right

• The horizontal size of the Web page

  I'm wanting to create an image of banner in PS and then place it on my Web page.  I did the first time, but when I went back to make a change in the data on the PS file and then replace it on the Web page, I get an image preview screen that displays the file is too large.  The original file was 1000px x 120px.  I've recreated the file up to 700px X 120px and it is still showing it as too large.  Should what size I queue up in PS?  When I create the html file in dreamweaver, I use the single column, centered, the header template and footer.

  Images of text are not a good idea in web pages because the images are not readable by the search engines, to language translators or screen readers.   It is always better to use actual text when you can.

  The CSS does not work with TD as model (horizontal Images with the tag list) does contain no TD on that.  Open the model and you will see what I mean.  Each element has this HTML (directly from the template):

  I have a running example (hint hint an example on apex.oracle.com goes a long way), but note that each item is a LI.  So if you want each entry/box to fix then you want to control the LI elements with a width or height.

  Something like this should do the trick:

  Li .uHorizontalImagesList {width: 128px ;}}

  If you want the fixed horizontal size then who can get is so difficult you text.  There are different ways of working that, but I need a running example.

  If you want the images limited to a size, you will need BOTH CSS code snippets. one for the image and one for the LI.

  I don't know what you mean by "I don't want the image to make bigger it? He should have stayed 128px width for all. They span the height?  But probably matter if all the boxes of the same size.

  I'm really pleased with the ability and especially the ease use of Muse. But I couldn't imagine that the width of a text box, image, the box cannot be defined as a percentage of the width of the browser.

  But now after some research on the web I really seems the only option is the 100% browser width.

  When you talk about the size of objects as a % of the browser, I think you are talking about the responsiveness of the site. If Yes, then it is not possible to create sensitive sites in Muse at the moment. But yes, you can set the width to 100% for some items and a slide show full-screen only.

  I'm on a processor intel Mac using DW CS4. I created simple CSS rollovers for my navigation, but the background color of the bearing area is not corresponding to the original background in size area. Looking carefully, there is a pixel of additional height on the size when you rollover.  "I tried to tweak the ' height: 4px" defining the Li an area but it just shifts the dynamic in size and the offset is still there.

  How can I open the line height in the text of the table? I wrote to 1.5 em line height in the rule table, but for some reason, it does not. This is the first site I ever built in DW (CS3 I think) and I don't know that it is gross under the hood. I wrote the rules on this one just for this page.

  I would like the text in the label of a height of text sizes exactly 27 (on Z10). It turns out that fontSizeValue is specified in postscript points format, which is not the same as the design of units... How do I know how many points postscript is required for 1 on Z10?

  In Blackberry font sizes are specified in points (pt) postscript. There are 72 points per inch. So 1 point is 1/72 inch.

  In user interface designs sometimes fonts are specified in pixels (in my case). If we have the dpi of the screen, then we can convert points to pixels and vice versa.

  This method in QML will convert pixels into points for fontSize:

  I'm doing a digital magazine of Muse, and I want to drag horizontal between the pages. I tried to use the 'Page transition widget', but it does not work for more than two pages. The problem is that left and right are fixed. So if you want to return to the previous page the page will slide the opposite effect.

  Once again, in my work, I have to change in several files to the size and type of specific measures:

  -in the preferences "units and increments:

  thumbs to milimiters

  and the increment of cursor keys

  -J' I also need to change the document format

  width and height

  and size of bleed.

  Would be a great help if I would be able to change this once to a set of open files... in my work I need to do this all the time... and of course, I miss the "apply to all open documents.
