Lightroom - blue screen - Dell Inspiron
Hello
Please could someone help. I just bought a Dell Inspiron 5759. I7, 16 GB ram, 2 TB hard drive. Windows 10 House.
I tried to use Lightroom and there is a blue screen. I've seen a few questions re this but wanted to attended with graphics cards that I have - surely the laptop should have latest graphics cards - I have an AMD Radeon R5 M335 and Intel HD Graphics 520. Should I update these?
Thank you!
Download the driver here: Mobile
You probably have the screen connected to the R5 and the Intel 520 is not in use - you can check that in Device Manager.
There is therefore no need to update the 520, you can even disable it if it is not used.

Blue screen on Inroom X 200-219 during execution of Adobe Lightroom-slide show
I am running Vista Business SP1 32-bit and I upgraded my RAM to 4 GB. I have 50 GB free on my C: drive. Whenever I run the slideshow in Lightroom 1.3.1 and 1.4.1 I get the blue screen of death. I swapped the original back in memory but get the same result so it wouldn't appear for modules memory Visa always says that to run the utility of diagnosis system of manufacturers.
Did someone experienced the same problem, have any suggestions or know where I can get the utility said of diagnosis of?

The problem is Microsoft's Standard VGA driver for video card from Toshiba. I have downloaded the Nvidia driver and all is well.

Lightroom development [Blue screen in the develop module]
I am new to lightroom and I can't seem to put my photos. I was able to import them into lightroom. In the picture below, when I select develop, I get a blue screen. I click on the image in the scroll bar (which I've cropped this image), but I always get this blue screen. Can anyone help?
Check the answers to another thread - development - blue screen!
Most likely, the graphic processing unit cannot display the image in the develop mode.

In Lightroom development Mode, I get a blue screen when the photo should be
I have a new Dell with Windows 10. I installed only creative cloud, Photoshop and Lightroom so far. Camera Raw is also referred to as a current version.for my 7 D Mark ii. Photoshop seems to work very well. When I go to windows, and import a jpg or Canon raw files, I see them well in library mode but when I click on the mode to develop, I get blue by filling the entire section that the photo should appear. Nobody knows what will fix this problem?
Disable the "use of graphics processor" in the Preferences/Performance tab.

Blue Screen of Death to be imported into Lightroom
I am a new user. I bought Lightroom/Photoshop CC today and installed them both.
The first thing I did was to insert a memory card in a USB port, open Lightroom and said to import the photos. There are 53 photos on the card with a digital camera Olympus E - M10. The device has been set to store a small JPG both the ORF raw for each photo file. Altogether, there were 105 files on the disc (for some strange reason, missed me a JPG file). Configure the options "copy as DNG" in order to have the O.r.f.s. converted to DNG. I put the name of the file to be YYYYMMDD-HHMM-Yellowstone and I chose a folder on my internal hard drive (d) as the destination.
I started the import and turned away from the computer. Some time later, I heard the computer restart. The windows message that seemed told me that the reboot occurred due to a blue screen.
When I looked in the folder to which I was importing the files, I ended up with:
34 O.r.f.s.
52 jpg
22 DNG
Clearly, he managed to import and convert some files. I have no idea why it crashed. And I don't know what to do to prevent it. It was a very difficult decision for me to start to pay a monthly fee for this product but given that "everyone uses it", I thought it was a good choice. Now, I'm not sure. Can someone help me?
Characteristics of the computer:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
RAM - 4 GB
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT video card
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8400
Hi deb,
Please follow the steps below.
Open Lightroom
Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu
Click the performance tab
Deselect the graphics processor
Restart Lightroom.
Let us know if that helps.
Kind regards
