  I just found a simple solution that solved my problem.

  Although CTRL + and CTRL - do not work on this Web site, I've done the bar of menus visible ("Firefox |") Options | Bar menu") and was then able to use the" View | " Zoom | Zoom out' to get the site Web fit in the browser window.

  I'm not 100% sure that understand your problem. What you have said, I think you are saying that you have changed your default Firefox browser, and the desktop icons all passed under the icon of internet Explorer (blue e) to the firefox icon. You have changed the default back to IE browser, but the icons have not changed back, and when you click on them, they open in Firefox.

  If this is the case, the problem is with your default browser configuration. What you have said, you have already settled it in the browser similar to the support article. for some reason any Windows has not changed the default browser.

  You can try (in Win 7) open the Control Panel, then programs-> set default programs and click Internet Explorer in there, then "set this program as default.

  Our Web site was designed by a developer with whom we come into contact with. There is a small problem and we just have to understand how to solve it if we turn helps it.

  When you open our website http://nflalumnisouthflorida.org in Internet Explorer, it is well aligned to the center of the page, however when we open in Mozilla Firefox it appears on the left side.

  I don't know that it's a mere oversight when it was developed, however we cannot find the appropriate line in the code to fix this.

  Also check the page source as there seems to be a lot or labels marked in red indicating an error.

  • Firefox > Web Developer > Page Source
  • Tools > Web Developer > Source of the Page (Ctrl + U)

  If you place such a red tag, you get a ToolTip with some information.

  Google usually uses the meta description tag. Home page of the site has no info description, just a blank description meta tag...

  Search engines can't spider, which does not exist.

  EDIT: If this is a WP site, you should be able to add information description of the CMS for each page. If you have not installed, it may be time to get a plugin SEO (SEO by Yoast seems decent).
