Help.  20 GB of space NTFS disk have 30 GB VM - 54.99 GB left the MAC HD

VMFusion installed: Version 2.0 (116369)

QUESTION:  Need to extend the allocation MS XP HD - only 1.5 GB left - tried by changing the settings of the VM HD - did not work.  Help

MAC OS 10.5 (160 GB hard drive - have left 54.99) MacBook

Running: Windows XP PRO w / Svc pk 3

Need more HD for the side XP - 20 GB of space NTFS disk have 30 GB VM - left have 54.99 GB on MAC 149 GB HD (MAC OS Extended - journaled)

Have CA Suite side Windows with CCleaner - so enough of course not viruses or malicious spyware - specific reports

-Settings for the VMWare SCSI allowance was 20 GB

-I could not defragment because HD showed as complete

-I deleted all the snapshots of rollback - closed VMWare Fusion

-Replaced by setting 30 GB.  He expanded the virtual disk.  Now shows 30 GB SCSI

-I went to HD to defragment can - but said HD NTFS disk was still at 19.99 GB and I have only 1.5 GB free - so he could not defragment.

-I have a great project to do on the side Windows - under the date limit.  Could use feedback on next steps

You only expanded to the maximum. size of the virtual disk on the prospects of your host / fusion. Now, inside your Windows prompt, you must run a disc partititionneur to make use of this new space. Read article in the Fusion forum on resizing disks... you did only half steps.
