• First elements Timecode.cpp - 1014 error when adding media

  Software: First elements 11

  Camera: Sony DCR TRV22E

  OS: Windows 7

  When selecting Add multimedia elements, I get: [..-.. \Src\Timecode.cpp-1014] error several times, when the capture window finally arrives he says that the capture device is currently offline.

  This happens not only when the unit is plugged in and power but also when the camera is not connected.

  I tried different IEEE 1394 drivers available in windows 7 and none of them work.

  I think I solved this problem.

  I have a number of external USB connected, for example, hard drives, webcams, mouse, keyboard etc., devices so I unplugged individual devices until I found that the Error 1014 is more appeared when adding media.  I plugged the other USB devices back in but kept the last disconnected device and can now add media from my miniDV via firewire.

  I don't think we can let off the hook here PE11, since I had no problems with USB so far and each capture freeware program that I tried did not have a video capture problem I had plugged in any USB device.

  Thanks to all who have contributed and I hope this helps other users faced with Error 1014, look at the number of points of view on this discussion after only a few days (~ 300) I don't think I was the only one.

• Adding media: camera not recognized

  I use a camera Canon Vixia series (HF?) and adding media to first elements 11. I start PE 11, then plug the camera telling me don't not to unplug the USB or power cord or switch modes.   You don't need Imagemixer import this video from the camcorder to your computer. In fact, you're better off using Premiere Elements, if you intend to edit with Premiere Elements.

  But or do I go into menu the camcorder while it is in playback mode and set it to port the cam drive or SD card on your computer. As I said, I have one just like it and that's what you need to do or no program will be able to get the video from the camcorder to your computer.

  Do this to reregister the Jscript.dll and Vbscript.dll files.

  Start - type in the search box - find command top - RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN

  type or copy and paste-> regsvr32 jscript.dll
  Press enter

  type or copy and paste-> regsvr32 vbscript.dll
  Press enter

  Restart and if all goes well, it will run now.

• Help adding to the Muse an interactive swf with videos made in InDesign

  I am trying to create a portfolio of my digital work, which includes multi page interactive s .swf since InDesign I want to put on my site.

  I can add the SWF in fine using Place and they deposit functions great unless I have MP4/.flv videos in the swf file and that they will not play in the preview of the Muse or in the browser preview, so there are some periods of white vacuum which is not good!

  Did someone added these files using before Muse? I have a basic understanding of html and FTP language (although I don't know how I'm going to publish my site yet) any advice with this would be greatly received!

  I add this answer / solution for all those who may have the same problem and see what.

  I ended up publishing my site with the option Business Catalyst.

  I then followed the instructions to access the sftp as shown here:

  After scoring in the sftp (I use Filezilla, was already familiar with the program) then I transferred my .swf and .html files in the folder liabilities and more download the resources generated by InDesign folder liabilities IE. / assets/your_indesign_file_name_resources /.

  The question that I lived before I belive was that the .swf file has been refernecing support in the resources folder, but no download via sftp, it did not exist on my site. Muse has no way to have the record or media that she, all is fair in the liabilities top-level folder.

  I had a problem with the size of the file initially to ensure that you do not download more of your franchise (visible on your dashboard of BC).

  This made the videos entirely functional and visible. I hope it's useful for all others with the same question.

  MBM mp3 audios however still do not work, I'm not sure what the problem is with those :/ If anyone can resolve, please comment!

• Help adding a link to a Pro first of Flash video

  I created a video in Premiere Pro, and I want to add hyperlinks to a few words I added titles in Premiere Pro (I ask on this forum because I saw a similar question referred in this way).

  In order to add hyperlinks functional, I created a couple of SWFs in the Flash CS4 IDE, which would serve as invisible buttons (if used movieclips) that the link to the respective sites via NavigateToURL.  After checking to make sure things were working with sovereign wealth funds, I dragged them in my first pro project Panel and added to the timeline occasionally when I need the links are available.

  Then I exported the FLV to Premiere Pro with Adobe Media encoder.

  The flash site I'm building using the Gaia framework, so I added the FLV as an asset to one of my pages of Gaia and all this load normally - the video and I see the bright sections, that I created to serve as clickable links.  Links within the video, however, do not work, and I didn't know if it was a problem of Gaia or if there's another step (or not) I have to take to make this work.

  (If there is another way to make it work, clickable links in a Premiere Pro video, I'm open to that as well).

  Again, I know that a lot of this Treaty, Premiere Pro, but I hope I can get help on AS3 forum since this is where the Premiere Pro forum led a similar question used Flash as a solution.

  I have Premiere Pro and its Flash capabilities. However, adding an application interactivity Flash would not otherwise. Simply create a transparent overlay on the video and add MouseEvent.CLICK listeners. In other words-, it is identical with buttons.

• Need help with Media Player (latest version)

  Well, I tore my first two CDs in Windows Media Player (11) and which went well. I have synced them (because I can't figure out how to do drag and drop) and which went well. So I started to rip CDs more and got as much as 4 when a message came and I deleted inadvertently. Then, it would show that I'm ripping, but have no songs OR album titles. I went to the media player but cannot find how to fix this problem. I'd appreciate any help to make it back to where it is rip CDs and indicating the name of the album and song names.   Are you connected to the net by tearing? The network connection is needed to get the tag data.

  Again click Extract, click on more options, then the library and retrieve additional information on the net are checked, and then click OK. I think it's the parameter that tells it to get the data from the tag on the net? It is easy to copy files to the drive with Windows Explorer. Open Windows Explorer(right click on start, then click on explore). Find your music under my documents, my music file (or something similar). Find the folder with the music inside album. Right-click on it and choose copy. Then find the folder music of the rocket in Windows Explorer. Right-click on it and choose Paste.

  Click the extract and make sure that the format is set to mp3 format. Click it again and make sure that the flow is set to 192 or 256.

  Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported by the player or not supported by the server.

  Things to try:

  ·         If you encountered this error by clicking a link on a Web page, make sure that the link is valid.

  ·         If you encountered this error by typing a uniform locator resource (URL) in the Open URL dialog box, try opening the file using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:").

  If Windows Media Player supports the Protocol and you can't read the content, check that the drive is configured to use all of its supported protocols.

  Step 1: Configure the protocol settings

  1.	In Windows Media Player, on the Tools menu, click Options.
  2.	In the Options dialog box, on the tab network , in the Streaming protocols area, select all the checkboxes (Multicast, UDP, TCP, and HTTP) Protocol, so that a check mark appears in each.

  If the fixes above don't work, you can rename the folder of information network for the drive so that it can rebuild its information network files after restarting it.

  Step 2: Rename the folder to network Player information

  1.	Close Windows Media Player. (To do this, on the file menu, click exit).
  2.	Click Startand then click run.
  3.	In the run dialog box, type the following (exactly as shown): %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Media This step opens the following folder on your computer: SystemDrive: \Documents andNom_profil_utilisateurSettings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Media Settings\
  4.	In this folder, rename the 11.0 in 11.0.bakfolder.
  5.	Start the player and try to distribute the content again.

• Help - BrowserField2, Media Player and son

  Hello everyone

  In my application, I have BrowserField2 added to the screen and multimedia player based on Streaming media - start to finish. I try to open the media player in browser using extensive javascript. My plan is that when the user clicks on links in the web page, I call javascript function extended with some parameters such as the url of the video to stream. This function pushes to turn screen player with the passed url. Œuvres very good media player and video streams when used standalone. But it does not play video when it is associated with BrowserField using extended javascript.

  I suspect that the problem is with the event thread synchronization or threading-related. I push the screen containing the multimedia player using runnable. The screen appears. But when I click on the play button (which begins a few discussions to get video and play), nothing happens and my application crashes. I am not able to pinpoint the problem. You will appreciate if someone can pin point the problem.

  Never mind. Have solved it. It turns out that the video I tried to access it from the web page is in incompatible format and so throw an error and freezing of the application.

• Help: Adding to the IPsec Tunnel encryption field Questions

  Good evening everyone,

  I'm looking for help and/or advise in what concerns adding more networking in the field of encryption of an existing IPsec site-to-site tunnel.  Both sides of the tunnel are of ASA.  The client on the remote end is eager to access the networks more on my end.  They have already updated their ACL crypto map to include the new networks.  When they perform "show crypto IPsec his counterpart x.x.x.x" it shows already encap packets attempting to join my network.

  On my side, I updated my ACL crypto map to reference the new 2 networks, created the double NAT and added the ACL needed to allow the inbound access through ports they want.  When I perform a 'see the crypto IPsec his counterpart x.x.x.x' output is NOT up-to-date with the new networks added to the field of encryption.  When I run a tracer of package of supply of one of the servers in the new network, the traffic is translated as he should, but a fall when it hits the outgoing interface for the VPN tunnel.

  Am I missing something here? Can I bounce the tunnel so that the new networks must be recognized in the surveillance society?

  I went to the files off the coast of the lower-left corner of the taskbar. Deleted the files in the library. They have been corrupted.
  Right click on libraries.
  Clicked on the RESTORE DEFAULT LIBRARIES.
  All of a sudden everything was good in Windows Media Center once more.

  Try disabling Mass Storage. Is encryption always enabled for media files on your device?

  If it is, Roxio should ask the encryption password to allow you to access the media card.

  When this happens, all media must be visible...
