Help, CS4 files crashing repeatedly.

I have work for a customer relay on an existing document in a new model. I created the document Moose 100 + pages (with 80 + screenshots) and have had no problem with the doc of the moose in CS4. I have asked me to take that old document and relays out in a new model provided by a third party. This new model was created in CS3. I opened it in CS4 and copied all the old text and images in this new model (the images are anchored if can flow with the text). Coverted all the style sheets etc. This process worked well the first time. I saved the doc and made a pdf file. I'm in the document a second time to make copy changes for the customer. Now, the document hangs almost randomly. I have worked on ten pages and bam it hangs. Sometimes, there seems to be some pages. I got tired of deleting the recovery files, recording to the INX format and by adjusting the Properties overview of Idesign, since there are a lot of images. I can still go in the old original doc and it works very well.

This problem occurred and other documents that I and colleagues have worked on several computers. I can't understand. It of just strange that these files would be the first go-around and now opens a second time, they are broken. It seems that this model has problems. Any ideas?

Most of the mac fonts utilities can check for bad fonts, I think (I'm on Windows, so a little out of my comfort zone). Check everything that you style of paragraph for other fonts, too. I had probably "select all unused ' styles and remove them, too.

    This may take 1-3 hours.

    Use the Windows 8 Enterprise disk and create a USB bootable thumb and use instead of attempting the installation:

    I use Indesign CS5 for about a year now, migration of Quark. It has been remarkably stable, running on my iMac OSX10.6.8, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo w/4 GB of SDRAM. Then suddenly today, a particular file starated crashing repeatedly.  I ran disk on a different startup disk utility, repaired permissions; everything checked out OK. Always crashing. I created new documents and slide thumbnails of page by page, trying to ID of the offending page, but crashes every doc of this line. (It would take a lot of time to rebuild from scratch.) The original doc became irrecoverable. The original breaking file had a few rows of type on a circular path and I was wondering if that was the problem.  I deleted my .plist.     From time to time code can accumulate on the saved - or elements on a page are corrupt.

    If the link does not quite work for you then I suggest another method - divide and conquer.

    When files become dark like that I'll take the file and split into half - and then see what document crashes or becomes unstable.

    I then take this file and divided in half again once. Then I can finally he whittle until a range of reconstruction and pages - usually this small page range will fix the problem.

    In one of our production box (oracle 8.1.7.4 and HP UX), data file that contains the rollback segment has crashed. To open the database, I commented the line segments rollback in init file and launched the db and submitted offline for a fall as the data file crashed

    ALTER database datafile ' / db10/rollback/rbs01.dbf' drop offline;

    and then I tried to drop the tablespace containing only datafile, but it threw an error indicating a rollback segment active R0 is always there in the tablespace. I do not know how to file the and create rollback segments. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    If the rollback segments are active, they are necessary to achieve the recovery process (roll forward was OK if you do not lose the redo, but there is a rolling back phase: read my previous post). Your database is probably not in very good condition.
    Can you post the last 50-100 lines of your alert.log?
    You have a valid backup of this data file?

    I am using a .chm help file to provide context-sensitive help for some VI and control in my application running. I put the path of the .chm file in the path of the help of dialog of the VI documentation and of certain typedefs of control as well as the tag help. Some controls to access the help file (question mark in the context help window is blue) while others do not (question mark is grayed out).

    My help .chm file is loaded in my project. I'm using Labview 2011 64 bits.

    I rebuilt the application LabVIEW 2013 and did some tests to see if I can recreate the problem.  I can't.  I see the problem only in the executable file that you sent me.  When you build an executable file, however, and want to deploy to the target, you will want to use paths stripped in context help.  The method that I used to do this is as follows:

    To create a static reference of VI and use a relative path to set the path to each control.  When I use this method and then include the help files in my executable, I can change the path to the file for the Type Defs programmatically.  This seems to be a better way of defining the type defs, so that the path will be relative whenever respective executable file and its data directory are located.

    Got your problem about sending large files by e-mail.

The remains of mail in the Outbox and automatically transfer begins as soon as the internet connection resumes. When the mail is deleted from the Outbox send is stopped because the source is no longer available.

    This thing happens generally when sending large files on a slow speed or internet medium given that the execution time is more emails compared to normal.
    Run time means more chances to get an interruption in internet connectivity.

    * It is advisable to use an application to transfer files to transfer large files over the internet instead of emails. File transfer can transfer large files (in GB), and if there is no interruption in the internet connection, you can resume the download.

    For troubleshooting, you can disable the Protected Mode (https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/using/protected-mode-windows.html#id_94783) and see if that solves the problem. If the problem persists, please re-enable the Protected Mode to improve safety.
