  • Need help to make calls in blackberry

    Hello friends,

    I need your help to make calls in blackberry OS version 6.0 and later versions.

    I write code to use, it works very well below 6.0 but on 6.0 and above all he does not.

    When I try this code on 6.0 I receive "cannot connect, call in progress.

    According to my research, this is a specific problem of the OS, but I'm not satisfied with this research.

    Actually I do an application that will dial a specific number again and again for 5 times ({at least} chosen by the user).

    Code: -.

        Application.getApplication().invokeLater(new Runnable() {

                public void run() {
                    try {
                        ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().requestForeground(appProcessId);
                        Invoke.invokeApplication(Invoke.APP_TYPE_PHONE, new PhoneArguments(PhoneArguments.ARG_CALL, phoneNumber));
                              } catch (Exception ex) {
    //                    ex.printStackTrace();
                    }
                }
            });

    To resolve this problem, I tried for a few weeks, but no luck.

    Please help me.

    Thanks guys,.

    I found the solution to this problem,

    to fix this, I maintain a difference of 10 seconds on each call, I did.

    Thank you once again

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Media Sync continues to display 'Please connect a Blackberry smart phone' when the Blackberry Storm is connected to the PC

    About a 2 months ago when I would like to connect my (the first storm) blackberry storm to my computer via the USB cable supplied with the phone, I was able to transfer music from my computer (itunes) to the blackberry via Blackberry Media Sync with no problems (open Blackberry Media Sync, connect blackberry to the computer via the USB port and screen Media Sync would change so that I could sync to the blackberry storm music). I didn't even have to install Blackberry Media Sync in December 2009

    But now after I connect my Blackberry Storm to my computer, the screen of Blackberry Media Sync does not change and continues to display "please connect a Blackberry smartphone. I tried these tips I found online:

    1.) several reboots my computer (windows vista)

    2.) update/reinstall Blackberry Media Sync, then by restarting my computer

    3.) reconnection from blackberry to the computer, then open Media Sync

    4.) Open Media Sync first and then connect the blackberry to the computer.

    5.) installation BlackBerry USB and Modem drivers (even if I can't find the USB driver for it under the Universal Serial Bus Controller when I check in the Device Manager when you go to control panel – system and Maintenance – Manager of devices, but I found a v2 COM4 and COM5 RIM virtual serial Port when you select "devices by connection" under display in Device Manager) or are RIM Serial Port virtual v2 COM4 and COM5 drivers I'm looking for?

    6.) go to Options (on blackberry) - memory and make sure Media Card Support, Media Transfer Protocol (MTO) and Mass Storage Mode Support are resolved on 'On', the encryption Mode is set to 'None' and mass storage Mode Auto activate when connected, it the value "Prompt" although I tried to 'Yes' as well. It says I have 785 MB of memory space of the unit out of 879 MB total memory of the device and 7.1 GB of free space on a total of 7.3 GB of Media Card Media Card.

    None of the above tips and troubleshooting tips worked. I also checked the Blackberry technical solution center but I've not found anything there that has contributed to the other. I found discussions forums online, including issues of people with 'blackberry media sync cannot connect to the device' pop up, but I have not had this pop-up. The Media Sync screen remains just the same as if I never connected the blackberry storm to my computer in the first place even if my blackberry storm recharges via the computer.

    Is there something that I miss or have not yet done? What should I do?

    Too bad. I went to a Verizon store and they me remove the battery and turn the blackberry. Worked like a charm and I can now use Media Sync.

    Also told me that I need to update the software of the phone blackberry using Blackberry Desktop software (I have version 4 and need to update to 5) and make sure to choose to back up files when you are prompted during the update or you will lose all files, the media and info saved on blackberry.

  • Pls Help - display and slooow performance Timeclock blackBerry smartphones

    Suddenly today, each unique key I press brings the timeclock and "BOLD" must 'think' before, it does nothing.  I turned current extinguished/turned on and checked memory and clear without success.  I have a 2 GB memory card, and neither the device nor the memory card are filled far.  I also noticed that the use of the battery occurs faster today than normal.  What happens here?

    Hi and welcome to the forums!

    And off the unit is not the same as a battery pull.

    No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated. Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.
    Thank you

  • Help displaying the png files that require a picture scroll/zoom and sufficient quality.

    We try to bring a very simple application to android/iphone to blackberry.  The app is simply a tool that allows the user to navigate and view files png which are pages in a reference manual.  On iphone/android, we used the webviewer to view images.  The images range from 500 to 900 1500 x 900 x.  Everything works fine on android/iphone. We tried the same thing on the blackberry (curve, storm, torch: 5.0, 6.0), but the Blackberry BrowserField does not scroll horizontally when the image is zoomed.  We also tried to use ZoomScreen, but the image quality is so poor that the manual pages are unreadable.

    Anyone has a suggestion for how we can achieve a functional viewer of these images which allows Zoom/scroll and provides a good readable image quality?

    Dave

    Welcome to the forums!

    When you create the screen to which you add your images, you use all the constants style? What type of screen you are using?

    The reason why I ask, is that you seem to use screen which, by default, scroll vertically but not horizontally. To remedy this situation, create it like this:

    Display myScreen = new MainScreen(VERTICAL_SCROLL |) HORIZONTAL_SCROLL);

    or, if extend you it, put something like this as the first line of your screen manufacturer custom:

    Super(VERTICAL_SCROLL |) HORIZONTAL_SCROLL);

  • With the help of the library of BlackBerry

    First, I'm a BlackBerry is of project with project type library. After that, I do the new Application BlackBerry project this by first importing jar file. This is the step that I do to import the jar:

    1. right clik on project

    2. Add the file to the project

    3. change the filter to all files

    4. Select the jar file in the library project.

    After the above steps, I run the Application BlackBerry project on emulator and no luck. Cannot find the icon of the application on the emulator. Can anyone help?

    Third-party libraries that I joined always come with a cod file, a jad, alx and the jar file.  You use the container during the development as well as the cod and alx/jad during installation.  The cod file is signed by the issuing company.

    I press the PopupScreen class at the simple button click. In fact, it's a screen of loading with a GIF image in it. The link to the GIF images is given below

  • Changed display of password of blackBerry Smartphones

    I have a simple password enabled on my device. Tonight, my son was messing around and tried to enter the password.  Somehow, he changed the asterisks projection screen when the password is entered to show the alphanumeric characters.  I tried to use the alt - shift keys to get the display settings to change it back and enter the actual password, but the screen changes to asterisks and the device does not accept that the password entered as the actual characters is the same thing (I think it's similar to what Mickey55 posted on below - however, my unit is less than one year old).  Anyone have any ideas?  I am on try #9 and really don't want to have all the data wiped out by starting from scratch.

  • 10 BlackBerry HELP! How to get BlackBerry on your BlackBerry Z10 10.1

    Hello
    I got the Z10 BlackBerry for a week and now I tried to update the BlackBerry 10.2 version beta. But the version is really bad and now I want to go back to the BlackBerry 10.1. I downloaded version 10.1 and I wanted to install it but when I turn my phone on again there a msg "BlackBerry dev alpha update had ended..." my phone no longer starts. I tried the hard reset, but nothing works... got 10.2 BlackBerry on now.

    Please help me!

    Well, what you did is not a normal action (a DEV OS on a production unit of loading), it seems that 'normal' patches are for some reason any does not. What I then suggests is that you are looking for an auto-loader for the operating system you want to install... this thread talking about these things:

    Good luck!
