  I use Adobe Presenter 8 as part of the Tech Comm Suite 4. I use this with PowerPoint 2007.

  Until last week, things were working fine with the Presenter PowerPoint add-in. Since yesterday I am suddenly not able to see glimpses of theme. This shows simply empty. I tested with a blank PPT (with no content and just a slide) and my real projects. I uninstalled and reinstalled my presenter. I restarted my laptop too. I've deleted preferences C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Local\Adobe as well. But nothing helped. I see this problem in the system of my colleague where it was working fine until last week.

  The issue is due to the latest version of Flash Player. I contacted Adobe support and they gave me the program uninstall and Flash Player version 13 +. That solved the problem.

  I'm on a MacBook of 2010 and joyously generates pages when suddenly selection tools became the symbol of the hand tool, now, nothing works.  What in the world would cause this? I trashed preferences, but that did not help.  Can someone please help?

  I don't want to offend you, but I would check and make sure you really trashed the prefs properly. It's a little more complex for ID than some other Adobe applications if you do it manually.

  You get this error message when you start the desktop computer?

  You can check if the complete startup items are checked in the msconfig utility.

  1. open System Configuration by clicking Start , clicking Control Panel, clicking system and security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click the System Configuration.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  2. click the Startup tab and check if all the items are archived there.

  You can also run a bag of security for your computer and check if this solves the problem.

  If the problem persists, turn the computer in clean boot and check if all the background program is causing this error message. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".   Assuming you are using XP (because the thread is in the XP category), I suggest you follow the steps below.

  Step 1: Use Device Manager to find the hardware changes
  Use Device Manager to find the hardware changes. After your computer search the hardware changes, it can recognize the USB device connected to the USB port so that you can use the device.

  To check the hardware changes, follow these steps:

  a. Click Start and then click Run.
  Note If you are running Windows Vista, click Start and then use the search box.
  b. type devmgmt.msc, and then click OK. Device Manager opens.
  (c) in Device Manager, click on your computer so that it appears highlighted.
  d. click Action and then click Scan for hardware changes.
  e. check the USB device to see if it works.

  Step 2: Remove and reinstall all USB controllers

  To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:

  a. Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box and then click OK.
  b. click on the Hardware tab.
  c. click the Device Manager button.

  Open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select Properties.  Click the driver tab and then click on "update driver".  Select "Browse my computer for driver software", then "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.  "High definition Audio Device" left click once to highlight, then click the next button to install it.

  My plug-in headset and regular lapel microphone suddenly stopped working.  It was working before and I know that my helmet or conventional microphone are not broken.

  I noticed this problem when I would go to a Voice Chat room and trying to talk into the microphone, the volume bar would move only a little bit and not much.

  I checked all my settings of volume and nothing is low in the volume bar of the Realtek High Definition Audio, or the DD Realtek Audio Manager.  Everything is fine and when I lifted up the microphone, he is selected by default and indicates that it works correctly, but the sound does not come through.

  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, my helmet is called Dynex, my plug in microphones are called Plantronics and the other on my Logitech webcam.  Help, please.
