• IM new web design and need advice

  Im very new web site design and need some advice. Ive been designing with Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign for a few years and say im at a high level of proficiency with them.

  I am now wanting to move in design for the web. I just learned html and css and I'm learning Flash and Dreamweaver. I have so many questions that I put everything at once.

  The first question is how all of these de-it-ur-self sites using CMS affect the market of the Web designers? It reduces demand for web designers because most people will now be able to build their own Web site using templates.

  Secondly, what languages/programs, and in what order do you think would be useful for someone like me who wants to double as a graphic designer/web designer to know.

  I went to see a professor on the subject and he said that if I am primarily a designer (who am) as opposed to a developer I should just learn html, css and javascript. But others said that, beyond the creative skills of a designerit is very useful for a freelance or someone in the job market learn MySLQ, ASP, coldfusion, PHP, and many others.

  Please give me advice. Your suggestions will be much appreciated.

  of course, it has an impact on the way people develop Web sites. but I don't think that the market will suffer serious problems from it. There are very many companys who want professional web developers with a unique design and structure. You can, of course, deal with it using wordpress & co. by yourself. not as a whole structure, since it will be maybe not quite adaptable. You can use it as a structure for articles as well - on blog.banklupe.de: they designed a unique structure for the Web site and used the CMS of wordpress for the blog - and has adapted, he would comply with the CI. the advantage: wordpress is easy to use and webdesigner have better to do than post blog - writers can do themselves.

  I suggest that you put your project on hold for a little everything and get and read the chapters appropriate Web Application Construction Kit of Ben Forta.   I went the same route. I started to want to learn web design and the Muse is an excellent tool. The code it generates, however, not to use it in Dreamweaver. This could be done, I think this isn't worth it, even for a real Geek. Once you get to Muse you will find there are things missing, stuff, you want to do, but are just tough in Muse or you can buy a widget. It is possible in DW and you get which through subscription, so it makes sense. Me what I know now, I'll go directly to DW to learn, except if you want results right now. If you don't want something to cause I stay with Muse and maybe learn to animate CC to add some pizazz to the site. If you only want a simple layout and a couple supporting stick with Muse pages if you want a larger site use DW. • I need help to create a mask for a paint to put on a t-shirt.

  

  Right now I use my paintings on t-shirts, but they are square or rectangular images (like the one pictured to the left). When printing on t-shirts, it seems unprofessional.

  I would like to use a mask in Photoshop Elements to have the edges of the erasure of the paint in the color of the t-shirt but not smooth (as pictured to the right). It will disappear in a transparent background with a PNG file for the t-shirt to work in various colors.

  I would use a mask that looks like a little grunge on the edges, sort of a fuzzy look uneven or similar projections as it fades to transparent edges.

  Is there anyone who knows how can I use a mask in Photoshop Elements to achieve this. I tried several tutorials, but I think that they are based on the full version of Photoshop than Photoshop Elements, because some menu choices for masks do not appear in the items when I try to follow the directions.

  I can create my own grunge template, but I have no idea how to make a mask and then apply the mask to the image before using it as a t-shirt. I do not feel myself, all I need is the PNG file with transparency on the edges to blend into the color of the t-shirt.

  I have attached a model of what I'm trying to do.

  I use Photoshop elements 11.

  4. in addition, confused because I have only 2 image / audio clips for my very short video. The first video clip has the audio track with one his graphics displayed during the enlargement process. The second video has audio with 2 images of his chart stacked one on the other saying R and L, right and left. The first audio clip does not have it, is not like this. It's confusing. I thought that the two audio clips must have the same appearance. What's up with that? I have something duplicated?

  Hello. I'm new (ish) FlashCS6 and need help to create a timing of the animation. I'm fine with a general flash animation, but have never really used action script, are not my hand holding a little. any help would be great.

  Basically, I have 12 scenes someone is going through their daily lives by buying items and at the end of each scene I have a small graph of cash that opens - I need then of numbers to animate quickly count for example, from £ 0 to £369 for a few seconds.

  The toFixed() method should do what you need.  By my previous code example...

  cashGraphic.cashDisplay.text = ' £' + cashValue.toFixed (2);

  The toFixed method returns a string value, so you don't have to cast one in coding as I showed earlier.

  Do you mean by "a few computer skills" you have no knowledge of web design, then you will not be able to create a newsletter with Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is a professional tool for web site designers or other people at least the basics of html and css.

  If you have some basics of html and css, or are willing to learn (there are plenty of tutorials online), you can use DW to help you create the room of email marketing. Here are some links that will give you some information about creating email marketing documents:
