You can still use the stabilizer inherited in AE until the issue of stabilizer chain attaches. Monitoring and stabilize the movement with point tracker

    My profile

Processor: Intel i7-3770 CPU 3.40 GHz

My graphics: Intel(r) HD Graphics 4000

In the future I can do do more video editing can someone point me in the best possible direction for what to do in my next PC

Ray Tracing is legacy at this stage as Adobe has evolved with the link of C4D. I wouldn't worry on this subject since it was rarely used anyway. You can get a good map of 960GTX and improve your performance for first and SOUL. Æ use almost all CPU and ram for this moment.

I just got my Macbook Pro w / retina delivered today 15 ".

I installed CC After Effects and received this warning message:

    My mac spec is:

Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7

    Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB

    -

I have absolutely no idea what the implications are for the AMD graphics card instead of the NVIDIA one card, no one knows what effect this will have on my mac when you use CC After Effects? I've never had this warning on my iMac 21.5 "...

Is there something I can do?

    Thank you very much, Harry.

The only thing THAT AE really use the GPU is obsolete ray-traced rendering engine. Very few people use the ray-traced rendering engine. I wouldn't worry about this at all.

More info here: features GPU (CUDA, OpenGL) in After Effects and here: http://motionworks.net/after-effects-3d-future/

Now, some third-party plugins (like element, 3D Invigorator, transmutation, etc..) Make use of the GPU, but they will work with the AMD cards and have nothing to do with this warning of CUDA, you want to come. Check that the requirements for all you plan to buy.

You can confidently check the option do not show this message.

  • "Ray tracing on the GPU requires a graphics NVIDIA and CUDA 5.0 or later approved."

When I run the application after effects cc I get the following "Ray tracing on the GPU requires a graphics NVIDIA and CUDA 5.0 or later approved. For now ray tracing will use the GPU. "Yes, I have a new MacPro with an AMD card. Y at - it a future update that will take care of this or is there another solution?

    Thank you Paul Roberts

This error message can be ignored (there is even an option to tell him to never show again).

This means what he says. He tells you that your GPU is not supported for the acceleration of the converter drawn with RADIUS. This is not a problem, because it is an obsolete effect. Now that After Effects comes with Cinema 4 d, you have a more quickly, better and better how to produce 3D in AE.

  • Ray-tracing on GPUS requires a graphics NVIDIA and CUDA 5.0 or later approved

The error message below started popping up right when I've upgraded to the latest version after effects CC (12.1).

I have running Max OS Lion still (10.75) so I'm not sure its related to the OS.   I run two monitors also.

Stupid, but it seems that I just needed to restart my computer. Restart after effects was not enough. Womp. Happy thanksgiving.

Ray-tracing on GPUS requires a graphics NVIDIA and CUDA 5.0 or later approved. For the moment, tracing will use the CPU.

This isn't a mistake. This is just an informational message. It's just saying you that you do not have the equipment needed to use a specific feature. Don't worry; This is a feature that you have almost no reason to worry - the traced the beam 3D rendering engine. There are many superior ways to do 3D in After Effects without using this feature. Just ignore the message and continue.

There is nothing you can do. This means what he says. You need a supported NVidia card to use the GPU raytracing acceleration.

  • Help please.  I can't 'Finish' my video and it is too long for YouTube.

Hello.  I hope someone can help me, because I'm in tears!  This is the first time I used PE8.  I was able to import my video, which was 20 minutes long.  I cut out, removed the parts and end up with about a minute 7 video.  My problem is that there is a screen AFTER my last clip that contains almost all the video AGAIN.  It's my video of 7 minutes, 27 minutes.  When I right-click, I can't delete it.  I tried to put a 'stop' marker, but I don't know what in the world, that I do.  I am SO frustrated and want just to UL this video on YouTube and be done with it. Along the bottom on the area of the timeline, there is a LONG line and I can see where it ends, but I can't move it, change, or delete. Help, please.  I've been playing with this for more than THREE HOURS.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jody

    Jody,

You have an "orphan". There are several reasons for the orphans, but more often, they are either a double-Import, or of some other operator problem.

First, hit the------[backslash key], see the entire chronology (make sure that you are in timeline view Mode), lasso Clips incriminated, and then press DELETE. Who should take care of the orphans.

Be sure to hit the space bar to read the script and check.

    Good luck

  • Help, please! Upgrade Windows 7 0x7E error code and THE. DLL not found.

I'm trying to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium.

I did everything what I have to do before the upgrade, but when I tried to install it, I got are two following error messages:

This application has failed to start because of THE. DLL was not found.
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Windows could not load the required file WinSetup.dll. The file can be
corrupt. To install Windows, restart the installation. Error code: 0x7E

I searched the internet for solutions, but I have found none.
    Could someone please help?

God, if only I knew I'd meet installation problems, I would probably rather stay with Vista and save my money $130.

    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any breach of integrity

    Restart your system

Check your hard drive for errors:
    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /r
When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

You might want to think about doing a custom clean install:

One option would be to sign on a third computer, in which case you will be prompted to close all other facilities to allow a new.

Another option would be to contact Adobe support and see if they can help.

  • What is a NVIDIA graphics card and why my After Effects requires one?

This is my first time to use After Effects and I don't know anything about. I opened it and something pops up saying 'Ray-tracing on GPUS requires a NVIDIA and CUDA 5.0 or later approved graphics card'. What it means? I'm worried create anything on after effects incase it cannot record because of this problem.

Your graphics card can't do ray traced 3D, so (ray traced 3D) it will be not very usable with large 3D scenes. Not a problem really unless what you AE for. You can still use the program. It's just a warning your graphics card does not minimum requirements for "ray 3D" features drawn, although it will still work, the CPU can do it too, but the classic rendering engine is generally fine for 3D in AE

  • Ray-tracing on GPU disabled on MacBook Pro with a graphics card double

    Hi all,

I just installed the demo version of scars on my new macbook pro 15 ".
He has these 2 graphics cards:

    • Intel Pro Iris graphics card
    • NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M
      2 GB of GDDR5 memory

But when I opened After effects CC I get this error:

Ray-tracing on GPUS requires a map dgraphic approved NVIDIA and CUDA 5.0 or higher. At the moment the ray-tracing will use just the CPU.
On NVIDIA, I saw that mine is a CUDA GPU: https://developer.nvidia.com/CUDA-GPUs .
    Why I get this error?

    Thank you

    > However, I can install driver CUDA 5.0 + with GT750M and use ray-tracing with GPU on AE (OSX)?

You can use it, but it was not tested and not supported. You use it at your own risk, with the caveats explained here:
