• Why Firefox 5 will not see the Windows Media Player Plugin?

  When I click on a link to play a standard WMV video in Firefox 5, in the movie player window it is said 'Click here to download the'.

  When I click on 'Click here to download the plugin' in Firefox 5, I get a panel of Firefox that says I need to Windows Media Player 11, but I already Windows Media Player 12 and the browser Firefox WMP plugin installed on this computer... it worked fine in Firefox 3.6.

  If I then click to install the Windows Media Player 11 plugin, it goes to another Firefox sign that says: ' no plug-ins have been installed, Windows Media Player 11 - no available '. Then, there is a "manual install" button, and when I click, it takes me to a third party plugin site called 'InteroperabilityBridges.com' which has a plugin Firefox WMP dated April 2007 available.

  When I check my Panel "programs and features" in Windows 7 on my control panel, I can see that I have already installed something called, "Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin" installed and it is dated 10/24/2010 and it is version 1.0.0.8

  Despite having already the required plugin installed and showing in my control panel, programs and features, this WMP plugin does not appear on my plugins Firefox 5 Panel. So I tried to re - install with the installer of origin and available to the above URL Setup (they seem to be the same, except my installer of origin has a date of 2010).

  I also tried the 'fix' option in the setup of the plugin... it still does not appear in Firefox 5, nor this browser will play a WMV file in the integrated test related troubleshooting page plugin Mozilla WMP player, or other pages that embedded the WMV players.

  So the question is, why is Firefox 5 demanding I install a Windows Media Player plug-in older, version 1.0.0.8 of 2007 when I have already installed...? and why it won't work?

  What is the solution? The upgrade again for the 3rd time in the last 2 months, this is not an option...   This Kumar Mahesh of delhi, in India. I bought the standard windows r2 server with 5 CAL. But I do not use it, instead I am using windows server 2003 ent. (pirates). The reason for this. I also, novel netware version 3.21, which does not connect with windows server r2. So I'm going with pirated Windows server 2 k 3.
  Now, I have two questions:
  1. is there a procedure that I was able to connect windows server r2 with my novel netware 3.21
  or
  2. can I download the old version of the server to windows server 2003. or downgrade my existing version of windows.

  HHmmmm bears ok I will answer your questions, but I don't really see the relivence of them for the progs anti, spy, virus, malware are not the problem.

If I use a different prog or any it constantly blocks the random addresses loading IE. I don't have IE loaded. Yes I have popups blockers, but it does not block another page being loaded on the card gift wlmart site. everything else works well.

  Please don't give me no matter what more links to the help pages for Microsoft because I already looked through them all and tried a lot of useful advice and none have worked. What I really need Bear is a set of instructions on what or the files to search posibly containing a script that gives orders to the system files to try and load IE maleware sites. I need to know where to look, what I'm looking for and how to rewrite or erase the command or script. Probly get rid of some files HKLM or commands too if there are orders as well. I'm sure you'll tell me its probly in both registry keys. in any case if you can help with a set of instructions on how manually enter and take care of the problem that would be great.

  I have seen the manual of instructions on how to repair scvhost.exe but I'll not go messin' and delete this file cause I know that you need so that windows run. I'm sorry for the poor fools who go on Ehow and follow the instructions. in any case if you can help it would be greatly appreciated I don't have the money right now to put this thing in the shop with Christmas around the corner and all.   For example, the firewall (mention it first a TI), as a test, stop your PC firewall and see if you can update then. NOT your router firewall, software firewall provided by Microsoft or a 3rd party security software. If it updates with the firewall off, then investigate the problem for your specific firewall. I have a big problem to do this. What I do now is line number each time after registration log scanning errors, and the script will use the number to know where the beginning for the next scanning process. The whole process works fine as long as no one click on the metric in "All the metrics" page, which will trigger the execution of my errorlog script followed to get data in real time.   The behavior that you saw in the database product seems to be a product of using a USER by scope property in the QueryDescriptor. USER scope indicates that the property value must be specified interactively by the user or by placing it in the collection file.

  So, I saw not someone do this, then you have to play with these instructions to operate on right...

  Step 1:
  Put a property with USER scope in the QueryDescriptor of your metric system:
  uprop

  I don't think that you can still use this property. It should be enough that it is configured.

  Step 2:
  In your preferred collection file, in your MetricColl put an ItemProperty to measure the user with some sort of default:
  foo

  What it must do, is to allow normal to continue collections because they will use the value for a property of element in the collection by default file, but it will prevent the real-time collection of the metric given that this value will not be filled.

  This property can appear on the page of the metrics and policy settings, so blandly call enough where users think to do anything with it...
