  If the question did not resolve, try Method 3,

  Method 3: Uninstall the driver from Device Manager.

  1 right click on the icon my computer

  2. Select manage from the menu.

  3. Select Device Manager in system tools that are listed in the resulting display.

  4. right click on the device.

  5. click on the driver tab.

  6. click on uninstall.

  I'm running windows XP (sp3) installed when you try to update my kodak ESP 7 printer with Version 7.6, it comes out of the old software, then stalls when it comes of retries MSXML6_x86.msi will not work and cancel cancel just to uninstall everything so you end up with no printer. but I can't install the old printer from the disk that came with it. but this is the 3.1 version then I'm left with the old renovation AIO Center.   I was able to find the right answer to the problem I had with my printer. The printer that I have by the way is a HP Officejet 6500 E709a model.

  Here is the solution is simple:

  The print head is the device where sit the ink cartridges.  It may be incorrectly installed.

   

  Remove the ink cartridges (carefully, you can get ink on yourself).  Now using the system of grey lock on the right side of the cart, remove and re - install the print head.  Shake a little before lowering the lock wall.

   

  Now, re - install the ink cartridges.

  
  I had to do this process 2 times because the first time did not work. Make sure that when you remove the print head, the area is clean, try to remove the very careful, a little dust and I hope it will work for you also.

  All of the C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers folder is missing?  If this is the case, I don't know how your system boots.  Otherwise, look for usbprint.sys in C:\WINDOWS\system32\ServicePackFiles\i386 if you are running an Intel-based system.  Look in \amd64 so it's an AMD based system.  You can also find it in C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache.

  The easiest way is to copy (but you will have to do it in safe mode).

  The best way is to use the System File Checker (SFC) by using the "sfc/scannow" command from the run (start-R) menu.  Note that this requires that you have your Windows XP installation CD and the CD for your current Service Pack level.  Note that you might have trouble with the Service Pack CD-ROM will be accepted.  Read KB900910 if this is the case (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/900910 ).  This procedure should work for Service Pack 3, too.  (I think that the biggest problem with the CD of Service Pack incompatibility is that Windows Update installs a multi-language version, while most of the CD are unilingual and therefore have different product IDS.)
