Help with extended warranty

My dad just bought me a Satellite U400 earlier this month, with her an extended international warranty from 1 to 2 years. I registered my cell phone today, on March 23. I entered your contract number when asked, but there was a message saying that the date is too far away from the date of production and that I need fax/scan my proof of purchase and send it to a certain site.
I thought that maybe I just typed something, so I tried entering again. I found it weird when he says that the contract number is already registered and I can't use it. So I thought that maybe he agreed after all so I went and checked the details of record to www.toshiba-tro.de/unitdetails. Now I am more confused it says I have no guarantee and have only the Standard (International) warranty for a year and that it will expire on August 26 this year. Which means that I don't have that 5 months instead of one year warranty! To clarify that even once, we just bought this laptop first week of March 2009, so now I'm really confused.

Made the details of the record being updated immediately or I have to wait a few days before, it is updated =------expertise please.

I just got an automatic email from Toshiba saying that my registration was not completed. But how can I fill it out if I can still use my number of contract :( I thought that maybe the registration page details don't is not just updated immediately, but this site for details (www.toshiba-tro.de) still shows the same thing. 1 year warranty expires one year after the date of production which is in August.

I tried to register again, but it displays the same thing:

"Sorry!"

    There may be a build-up of dust in the radiator. You can buy a can of compressed Air from electronic stores (DickSmith and Jaycar for example) to blow dust through the vents.

    What about the battery drain, update the BIOS to the latest version (take a look at mytoshiba.com.au-> Support-> downloads), then go into BIOS by pressing F2 during POST and disable the USB Sleep and fresh.

    If you still have problems with it, you can send the laptop to a Toshiba repair center. There is a list ASP on mytoshiba.com.au

    because default FC is in Unicode (utf-8). you need to change the encoding, see
    the method tag & cfprocessingDirective setEncoding() for run/compilation
    changes or more radically change encoding of the entire server.

    CF ignores the meta content-type.

    I guess you live in the United Kingdom because, AFAIK, Portege A200 is built just for the United Kingdom. As much I know an extended warranty must be purchased separately and saved by Toshiba. Each client has 6 months time to buy an extended warranty or some different services after purchase.

    I bought a laptop around mid September 2008 in Saudi Arabia. (Jarir Bokstore). The store had a promotion whereby you get the standard one year international warranty, BUT they give you a further extension of one year (so 2 years in total).
    I intended to have bought an extended warranty for a period of three years. The seller told me that I can activate my warranty 'gift' and later buy another warranty extendable to a total of 4 years international coverage.

    I signed the guarantee and it appears on the portal of warranty toshiba.
    However, when I returned to the store to buy a new extended warranty told me that you cannot register more than one warranty.
    I found it strange and therefore did not buy the extended warranty still additional. I need to know if it's actually true, or I'll always be able to buy an extended warranty again. Seems that I meet a brick wall, when I ask the salemen... .thought I would try the forum instead.

    AFAIK all Toshiba laptops are covered under warranty for one year (12 months).
    If you would register your laptop on the Europe of Toshiba page you would get more than one year warranty; total 2 years warranty.

    The additional year of warranty is not a gift from the shop. You will get this additional year warranty always if you would register the laptop. It has nothing to do with the place where you purchase this laptop.

    So now, a few words about your warranty extensions.

    This registration will allow the second extra year of warranty. (as mentioned above)

    I bought s430 and activated the extended warranty of 3 y. After some time, it broke, so after a few months in the service center, they have managed to replace my point by s430 else covered by the original warranty, although a little better model.
