  I was wondering if you could please help? It's probably more to do with "powershell" than powercli but are... What I'm trying to achieve is the ability to create a function that runs through all my VM - counts the number of hard drives by VM - crosses EACH hard drive and gives me the ability of each of them. He then returns to a csv file (which iknow how to do). The segment below is pretty well what I want, but I was wondering if there was a way to reduce the amount of code! I tried using a foreach statement, but got stuck (PS - the maximum number of hard drives of our virtual machines can have is 5)

  I'm just using a switch statement, because that is what I "thought" answered the problem. However if there is a way I could get the same result without so much 'code' that would be ideal.

  I have a problem with Windows 7 and recently bought a HP p6-2133w with Windows 7 installed, I need to download and to make operational a piece of software which is not compatiable. Wanted to Crash Windows 7 and install XP instead, but it was a no go. Can you help and tell me how to plant this hard drive. Also tried to install another hard drive and install the system and she always do it?

  Hi guys. I am new to this and in total confusion. I bought a aspire v15 nitro preloaded with win 8.1. I've updated to win 10 but decided to decline to 8.1. Process has failed and I got the blue screen error msg and a useless piece of plastic. I had to buy a set of recovery disks (reluctanlty at a cost of £51 - yes I know stupid me). I tried to reinstall from the disc, but I suck. I have acer cntacted and they have now tell me that I have to first download and install and disk formatting tool. I am confused now totally frustrated and quietly seething. I need help, I'm outta my depth here. Can anyone provide assistance as to what HD formatting of tool to download - what should I do with it to finally lift the laptop and run again? Your help is greatly appreciated!

  If you recovery media standard windows options, you can try to select "repair my computer" - Troubleshooting - Advanced Search - command prompt
  Once in the command prompt type

  then, type diskpart
  list disk
  take note of the correct disc ID to clear
  type
  Select disk x
  (where x is the ID of your disk to erase)
  type
  clean
  Type exit

  at the level of the Office
  Select your HARD drive
  Right-click on the icon for your HARD drive and choose completely erase your HARD drive (it will erase any GPT or MBR at the disk), choose the first option after selecting the clear function.
  Exit the wizard partition, boot from the BIOS, UEFI return of the Legacy (if you have the UEFI BIOS) and boot from media erecovery.

  I recently bought a Portege 3500 without any support of discs etc. It doesn't have a CD or a floppy disk. It has 2 problems, I want to trouble.
  (a) HARD drive is obviously out because it is by clicking on me, and it presents a permanent red section during defragmentation.
  (b) the fans are at full power all the time, and the CPU is running slowly.

Assistant "to transfer files, folders, and settings to the new HARD drive but I don't know how to install the old Windows XP OS Tablet it." I have the product key of Microsoft for the operating system. Any suggestions would be helpful.

  (b) I believe that the transfer of heat from the CPU on the radiator is a failure, causing the processor to hot and therefore slows down. I already solved the same problem with a Dell by coating the top of the CPU with Artic Silver 5 paste. I cannot, however to get the CPU in the same Portege so I removed all the screws down. Does anyone know how to split the case without causing damage?

  (a) Unfortunately, but I don t really know how you want to install the operating system without using the recovery CD or the windows CD.

  (b) on the Portégé, you should find the power saver utility. This utility allows you to change the different modes of cooling and processing speed.
  In my opinion, you should also check if the fans are clean. Especially the dust and debris inside of the laptop is responsible for cooling not properly of the CPU and other parts.

  But if you want to know how to remove the covers so I would recommend checking this site. Maybe you'll find something useful.

• Problem with new HARD drive and Qosmio Player installation

  I hope someone can help, I had my Qosmio for 2 1/2 years now and recently had a problem with the hard drive. I decided to replace the hard drive, because it was the fastest solution. The problem I have now is that I can't receive TV on media center. I tried to install qosmio player at the disk to see if it made any difference, but when I run the provided recovery disc software tells me that there is not enough disk space! The laptop came with a 60G hard drive and the new HARD drive manufactured by the same manufacturer is a 150 GB, can someone help me out with this would be appreciated.

  Have you tried to install Qosmioplayer initially, then on operating system? If I remember well, on this first portable Qosmio, it was very important to install Qosmioplayer initially.

  Try pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE and then try to lock the computer and check.

  Hi, I hope I'm in the right forum! I have a laptop Aspire with Photoshop CS5 extended. The computer's hard drive crashed and so I had to get another hard drive! Obviously as the hard drive crashed, I was unable to disable CS5 extended before the crash. I have it charging on the new hard drive and in the meantime bought a desktop computer in which I loaded CS5. Updates have been working fine on the laptop. I tried to update the program on the new computer, but continue to receive error messages. I have read in any problems and think maybe computer laptop harddrive that crashed had CS5 yet on it, as I was unable to turn it off because I didn't know he was going to crash. I am only able to load CS5 on 2 computers and if it is still on the destroyed hard drive so I'm not able to turn it off and so I presume that is why I can not download the updates on my new computer.   I currently store my pictures on and an external hard drive.  Lightroom 6 was not able to find the picture momentarily files.  I inserted an external Flash DRIVE after removing the hard drive and the computer renamed the stick with the same drive letter that has been designated by Lightroom to store my photos.  I could go into my Windows 10 and reset the player to the letter that Lightroom has given at the beginning of the external hard drive.   However, I know this can happen again, if I connect any stick USD or another device, while the external hard drive is not connected to my laptop.   I found the information that I can do the new designation of the final drive by choosing a letter it is 1/2 way or higher in the alphabet.   I would like to turn an external hard drive on a strong letter, warns we hope this previous problem.   My question is, if I already have a lot of pictures on this external hardrive with the designation of the current drive, how it becomes a higher letter and have 6 Lightroom recognizes files, now under the new designation of drive letter without having to go to each photo individually and manually force Lightroom 6 find each photo.  It would take more time than I'd like to lose.  Is there a way to get just 6 Lightroom to recognize the new disk designation has changed and is able to find all of the existing files?

  I have read the ADOBE LightRoom 6 manual and seem not to be able to find anything on how to do it.

  So in Windows, you can select a drive like q letter (or any other letter you want only towards the end of the alphabet)
