Help with Lenovo Z580 low fps...

I have Lenovo Z580 with

4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz
I5 - 3210M
NVIDIA GT 630M 1 GB DDR3
HARD DRIVE 500 GB
Windows 7 Home Basic

So I think that my gpu (GT 630 M 1 GB DDR3) is the limitation because any game starts with fps... for example BFBC2 initially runs with 55 + FPS... but suddenly, after a few minutes, as after 30 minutes it gets very hot (80-90 degrees celsius) and fps drop near 35 fps... then I unplug the adapter then reconect and then I get high fps(50-60) for a few seconds and then a low fps... up to what the heck is the problem... I think that its limitation... any ways remedy?

Well the fix was easy... I just openedd the front back and used my mouth to blow air on the fans... while maintaining it with scissors... and then I blew air through the holes to the van... a lot of dust came out and now no problem!

  • New GoPro camera need help with rate of 240 fps for idle

I'm enjoying the possibilities offered by the new extreme sport GoPro camera and need help when it comes to using different rates in Premiere Pro. The pictures I brought in was shot at 240 fps and are indicated as such in the project Panel. However, when I preview the item in the Source Panel he rereads at normal speed and he has not slowed down. If it was shot at 240 fps so I think that Premiere Pro would play this back to 29.97 FPS and true would be slowed down.

I am a beginner and you have to learn how to treat slow clips that I bring that are supposed to be slowed down.

    TIA,

    Ken

    Rod,

You are not wrong, exactly, but I must respond to some of your statements. Premiere Pro is not what some think to do this. Craig and I had this conversation recently. When it Premiere Pro sees 240 fps on a sequence of 24 frames per second, it gives executives. About 90% of them.

Keep in mind that some people turn it quickly because the action is fast, and they want that expected as fast they can project.

Let's say you have a movie projector that shows 24 fps. No matter what film reel you load into this projector, you see the film at 24 frames per second.

Premiere Pro will change the 240 IPS or 60 frames per second to 24 frames per second by dropping frames. It is not generally what people want if they have bothered to get away with it. Yes, it shows you 24 fps, but by dropping frames, is not playing frames one at a time.

This means that if you shoot at 48 frames per second, you get slowed down when projected at 24 frames per second.

Only if interpret you it or use an effect to slow it down. The effect is not as accurate as the interpreter.

Think of it THAT WAY and find out what you have to do to make your premiere pro version are TREATING your images like it is projected at 24 frames per second.  In other words, no boxes are deleted. No boxes are added. NOTHING moves the way you SHOT IT.  Each image you shot will be used exactly as you he turned.

Once again, that if interpret you it this way.

This is NOT MATH or EFFECTS etc.

Well, if interpret you it this is not mathematics, but if you slow down using a percentage, then it is math, and I do not think that it slows down the effect of which is the right way to do it.

Don't download misled by all unwanted people enter with making it slower or faster time with interpolation.

If you can not Surdemarrage or shoot at a higher rate, interpolation is all you have. But Ken did not have this problem, thank God.

If you don't know exactly which continues with the sequences interpret things adobe has some help specify exactly files.

There's not much to it. If you want to slow down 50% interpret it at 120 frames per second. If you want to slow down 90%, interpret it to 24 fps. Anything in between is up to you.

  • Lenovo Y510p low fps after fans walk up

I had to remove my lenovo y510p and change the dc port. Now everything works fine, but there seems to be a graphics card problem or something. After I have play a game on support ~ keen, the fan blows on both sides, high speed, it seems, then after a few minutes, down my frames of ~ 30 at 1-5 fps. I have no idea why this is happening, the graphics card is updated. This happens when I play thunder of battle or war field. What could be the problem? should I take my laptop outside again?

Correction of a problem if someone has this similar problem... All I had to do was completely reset and restore my computer. No lag, everything works just jolly now.

  • Need help with extremely low rates of FPS on X 51 new R2

I just bought a new Alienware X 51 R2 to replace an old Alienware model with a Radeon graphics card that I bought in 2012. My old machine has done useful work to run the games, and I was getting about 30 FPS on Grand Theft Auto 5 to high heat (especially) with a resolution of 1440 X 900. For most of the games I could play on normal settings and get 30 + FPS and I was happy with it. Not so with the new X 51 R2 I bought.

Almost immediately, I noticed that my FPS with GTA V was extremely low. When I start a game (1920 X 1080 with normal settings), the FPS is around 120, and the game plays smooth as butter, but as soon as I start to move starts to decline until it is of the order of 15-20. Enter a car is even worse, with FPS readings between 5 and 10, and at this rate, it is impossible to play. The problem seems to occur any resolution, I start the game or if I push the graphics settings to the lowest available.

I thought it was a driver problem, so I uninstalled all the drivers and software NVIDIA and a clean installed drivers, but that has not helped. Then I started to download and test the other games that I have to look at my FPS with them. Note that I tested each game first leave the game choose the graphics setting, then I tested it again on smaller settings at 1920 X 1080 and 1440 X 900.

    • Skyrim on old PC: 40 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • Skyrim w / default: 8-12 FPS and a lot of stuttering and offset
    • Skyrim @ 1920 X 1080: 12-15 FPS with less stutter but terrible mouse and keyboard delay.
    • Skyrim @ 1440 X 900: even at 1080
    • RAGE on old PC: 50 to 60 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • RAGE w / default settings: 25-35 FPS, but ran pretty smooth.
    • RAGE @ 1920 X 1080 and 1440 X 900: performs the same as the default settings
    • CoD4MW on old PC: 50 to 60 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • CoD4MW w / default settings: 10-15 FPS and a lot of stuttering
    • CoD4MW @ 1920 1440: 10-15 FPS and a lot of stuttering
    • Civilization 5 on old PC: 40-50 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • Civ5 on default settings: starts at ~ 35 FPS and descends until it is less than 20 years. Game play is smooth enough, as long as I'm not scroll the map.
    • Civ5 on 1920 X 1080: as with the settings by default, starts at ~ 35 FPS and begins to drop immediately.
    • Civ5 on 1440 X 900: much better that it begins at 60 FPS, but like the others, begins a fall after a few minutes, but not too far. Tube in the lower 20s.
    • Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 on the old PC: 90 + FPS to the highest settings (game released like 10 years ago)
    • Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 to 1600 X 900: 50 to 60 FPS and quite smooth.
    • Dead Island on old PC: 40-50 FPS and smooth at 1600 X 900
    • Dead Island in 1920 X 1080: 5 to 10 FPS and a lot of stuttering and keyboard/mouse lag.
    • Dead Island at 1440 X 900: 10-15 FPS and stuttering with some lag mouse.

Here is a list of some of the things I've tried:

    1. Downloaded FRAPS and used instead of the tool integrated FPS w / steam. Readings FRAPS corresponding to the display of the steam.
    2. Wipe the old NVIDIA drivers/software and did a clean install only the driver.
    3. Turn off VSync and tried the Adaptive VSync; neither helped.
    4. I bought a keyboard Roccat / mouse and I was wondering if they were part of the problem, so I uninstalled them and used a plain Microsoft keyboard and mouse. Did not help.
    5. Set the executable of the game to the highest priority in the Task Manager. Not good.
    6. Watched the memory usage, CPU utilization and disk i/o while playing to see if I have the hardware bottlenecks. CPU usage never had more than 20%. Memory usage has never had more than 37%. Drive e/s never had more than 10% after the initial load.

    System Specs:

    • Alienware X 51 R2
    • Windows 8.1
    • Processor: Intel Core i7 core 4 4790 @ 4000 MHz
    • RAM: 16 Gb DDR3
    • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 w / 2 GB of memory
    • HARD disk: 7200 RPM Toshiba DT01ACA200

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how I can solve the problem. This is the first time I've owned a GeForce card (always had ATI Radeon in the past), and I'm starting to question that decision. The only game I could get decent framerate on is 10 years and more, and it's pretty frustrating.

Someone has an idea of what I can do to get to a resolution?

There must be something wrong with the fan 960 GTX. Either it has disconnected or broken. Or in bulk (screws not doing their job). I do not think that it is disconnected because it is detected, so it is either broken or it is loose.

You can check yourself on the GPU or contact technical support to examine it.

  • Lenovo Y510p 755M SLI - bad perfomance | Low FPS

    Hello

    Background

About a year ago, I bought my Y510p. Initially the laptop seems to work well, but it took me two months to see that the enclosed second of 755M SLI card was not recognized by the system and so I realized that I had played a 755 in two months. So, after some searching on Google, I managed to activate the video card in the execution of a .bat from the lenovo Web site.

    The problem

A few months later, I contacted a friend of mine who also bought the same laptop to play BF3 together. I asked him what he played on the settings and he said he's playing on high graphics with 50 to 60 fps. I was completely shocked, since my laptop couldn't do 50 over low heat. I went back to google and discovered others could play much much better too, I had been googling and reach your forums and others to find a solution, without result. So I decided to ingnore the problem.

A little later I started to play Watch dogs, I had payd full price for her just know my pc can run only 18 fps on the graph low. But, I thought it was just because of the game given that more people have problems with it.

But, recently, I checked a few gameplay videos of this laptop on youtube with the Watch dogs running game and apparently you can play with about 50 on parameters of dogs the average watch, is certainly not the case with my product!

After a while when I'm done with all that stuff, I decided to play a little less demanding game: cs. After playing for a few weeks, I've noticed that a lot of stuttering and crashing and Yes... even once, I had to google for hours still know that SLI was causing errors and as soon as I had turned off the game ran perfectly, but only on the smaller settings.

Yesterday, I bought a new game: dying light. Once I started, I immediately noticed that I had to scale all the graphs down to the lowest resulotions with all sorts of effects or disable setting the lowest. The game was so extremely small scale that I became extremely nauseous after playing for an hour.

Now, these are just a few examples to give you a true vision of the problem occurring, but you may have already figured out, it wasn't just these games, the laptop was in trouble with. I also had problems, play such games of chivalry, Far cry 4, Minecraft, Saints Row, as they could only be played with 20 frames per second on the chart and the lower resolution.

    What I've tried

Last year, I tried a whole bunch of those given the solutions I could find on the internet. These are the things I've already tried:

    -J' I updated my drivers

-J' I reset the laptop factory and everything reinstalled about 3 times.

-J' was playing with SLI profiles to see if this would result in anything

-J' I re inserted the ultrabay

-J' did regcleans and made sure I had no virus

    -J' tried a few gameboosters

-J' checked the Task Manager to see that there is nothing wrong with the use of my material, GPU unfold to 3% by default when not gambling and the use of memory at that time is 30%.

-J' have also checked what drivers I am using and checked if I could make some settings in the settings 3D, without result.

Note that SLI is enabled and according to Nvidia controlpanel works perfectly.

Also note that the laptop is set to performance max and the downclockin when not on AC and back to 100% synchronization when on AC seems to work perfectly.

    What I could try

I might try communicating with my friends friend and ask him to run a backup and load this backup on my computer to see if the results can be different, or I could sell just the laptop.

I have NO IDEA what I have to do on the side to see if it fixes something, this problem has been haunting me since I bought the laptop. Is there someone who can help out me?

-Very well, so I don't know what I did, but installed a whole bunch of new pilots, charged that some tests and things seem better run now, otherwise I will probably notice in the future. Thanks for your help anyway and coming to your questions: Yes, both cards were at work.

  • Prince of Persia - the forgotten sands - low FPS

GOOD AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

I would like to get some info on the "Prince of Persia - The Forgotten Sand".
I get very low FPS for this game, which didn't happen with previous games Prince of Persia.
I have a dual core processor P - IV, 2 GB of RAM DDR 3, Intel G41 Express Chipset.

In addition, if you're kind enough, you people would give me an idea of how to make to decide the best graphics card for my PC?

A better graphics (GPU) card could help, but like I said it depends on where is the graphical neck? If its CPU related (and the P4 appears to be below the minimum specification) improving change the GPU are not terrible.

I found this site - http://www.systemrequirements.in/prince-of-persia-the-forgotten-sands.html the following information:

    Supported graphics cards:

    NVIDIA GeForce 6800 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 100 / 200 / GTX series

    ATI RADEON X 1600 / HD 2000 / HD 3000 / HD 4000 / HD 5000 series
Laptop versions of these cards may work but are NOT supported.

Because of the age of the rest of the PC, I would not spend a fortune on a modern map as you would provide all the benefits of this system. I would have guessed something like 6800 or NVIDIA 7800 series should do at a reasonable cost, if you want to try it. Unfortunately, I can't recommend any cards that I do not have the game or a P4 system actually try with. I hope that someone else can have. Or you can try the forum for this game above (or this section - http://forums.ubi.com/forumdisplay.php/95-Prince-of-Persia-Community-Technical-Help?order=desc, ) and ask them what they think.

  • Help with Icloud locked iPad Apple?

First of all, I am disabled and wanted to get my kids something nice. I found a deal on OfferUp for 3 Ipad mini and bought them. They were all on the first Setup screen as if they were new. I drove home excited and went to turn them on, and he's stuck on the activation screen. I've searched high and low to try to find a solution for this and have not found one thing. I feel very fuzzy and not only by the person who sold these for me but by Apple too. Their are thousands of people who treats this what I read and it's a mistake.

Right now I just want to know if Apple really helps getting them going again or not, and Yes, I have all the emails and screenshots to prove that I bought these the guy on OfferUp. Thanks for the replies.

They help, only potentially, if you were the original purchaser of the iPad and had proof of purchase (e.g. an original receipt with their serial numbers on it)-it won't help with second hand machines, you will need to contact the person you purchased in origin, only he or she can potentially remove them from their account (disable find them my iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support).

Ah yes before you say it on the hard drive of the BIOS is classified more than IPv4/6

I am running Windows 7 SP1 home premium

Hello! without doubt, you went to 5FCN95WW BIOS, haven't you? you need to spend in startup mode in the BIOS. I can't remember which option is enabled by default, but there are only two of them - UEFI and legacy. you need to change to one that is not set by default

In addition, you need to know 5FCN95WW is buggy, and downgraded to 5FCN35WW would be your best bet. Once you sort the boot problem, consult this guide to downgrade: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-P-Y-and-Z-series/Guide-BIOS-Downgrade-from-5FCN95WW-to-5FCN35WW/...

  • Bad experience with Lenovo.

    Hello world

I would like to share with you my bad experience with lenovo. I bought S10 2 weeks. Since the first day, it has not worked right. In the middle of my work it rebooted by itself and took a lot of time (20-30 min) to open XP when I turned it on. Then, I decided to restore the system with the OneKey Recovery button, but I couldn't activate the laptop after that at all. After that, I called technical support and explain my problem. They advised me to call lenovo sales and ask to replace the system. I followed the advice and call them and the representative told me that I have to send the laptop to the technical support group and they try first to solve this problem, if they would not be able to fix then I would send a new, and it would take at least 2 weeks to understand what is wrong with the system. I was indignant at this topic and he told me that if I want a new right now that I have to pay 15% bonus. Can you imagine that? Then I called the technical support group and we did some tests together and it did not work. After that, they still suggest to call lenovo sales to replace this laptop. Finally, sales representative decided to replace my laptop faulty by a new one. He arranged the pick UPS faulty laptop and created the order for the new system. Later the same day, I found that they charged me twice for the laptop. This means that I have a defective S10 only laptop, but have paid in full for two laptops. Today is the second day, and nobody came to the inverter to take the defective laptop. I called them and I was wondering why no one pick up the laptop. The answer was: no one does not organize the UPS pick up. This is Lenovo service! I've never seen this kind of service. It's terrible! I asked to connect with the Manager, but the Manager was very busy and I left the request to remember. I lose 4-5 hours of my time to explain my problem and request a replacement. Whenever they transferred my call to various departments, I had to wait 20-25 min. technical support is very good, they are very helpful and polite. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for lenovo sales representatives. It was my first lenovo and I'm sure that the last of them. Would not recommend to anyone to buy it. The service is horrible!

I hope that, ultimately, the faulty laptop is picked up tomorrow. I am thinking to return it and get my money back if they don't send me not the new Friday, as they promised.

Thanks for sharing your experience here!

I received my S10 new and very satisfied. This works perfectly. Finally, I got what I wanted.

I did from my first experience with Lenovo: If you have a problem with Lenovo products you should call and talk with officials. It is best to talk with several representatives, because not every representative has correct information. If the representatives are not useful, you have to speak to the supervisor or Manager. In addition, post your case in this forum. I suspect that some manager Lenovo check this forum. My problem has been resolved as soon as I posted my experience here.

The IBM product portable grand, but I wish they hire more agents for sale or magazine somehow their service.

    Marry Christmas

Depends on what specification has your Z580, the more powerful the cpu and the gpu, the more powerful the power adapter, it will come with, my Z580 has an i5 and integrated graphics, so it only comes with a 65 Watt adapter.

Edit: Look on page 123 of the repair, mine is the first.
