  I am under some misunderstanding or lack of understanding about the stationary and visited link style effects. In the footer of the file which is below, I have an adverb "Legally" and an openrange-logo image. I want to both be links.

  I have almost the legal link works correctly. It is the appropriate color and has no text decoration initially. Place the cursor over the link and it changes color. Click on the legal link and it opens the referenced page. The problem is that if you click on the back button of the browser the link then appears with a very small dotted border.

  Openrange-logo link does not appear correctly. It connects to the external site ok. But it seems initially with the blue border which becomes red on the bottom and the violet after the visit. I want it to appear without any border or any other effect in all States. I maybe it changes color to the overview, but for now I want to get rid of the borders.

  I think that I have the html markup incoorect but I can't figure out how. I tried a number of things without success.

  Any help with this and other comments on the code and markup of this will be very much appreciated.

  It is not quite clear whether my assumption that you are working with two. MUSE files is correct.

  However, if it is correct and that you develop both. MUSE of files and their download to host online location, so when even if you change the file names, the last download index.html file will overwrite the index.HTML of the first download.

  • create a subdomain for the second site, it does not cost any extra.
  • Then download the second .muse to the subdomain site.

  Quick Summary: I have a script as part of a process involving a lengthy document of data merge base that creates hyperlinks by using doc.hyperlinkURLDestinations.add (). The script is simply extracted from text into clickable hyperlinks.

  The problem is, the final PDF files that emerge from this process are 300% the size of a PDF file without the running script and are very slow to deal with. Most of that extra weight from an increase of 740 000% crazy (!) in the amount of data used for "info-Structure" (and that's after you run the version with hyperlinks through the Acrobat PDF Optimizer).

  The amount of the data structure in the PDF files with hyperlinks ends up being more than twice the size of the entire file PDF files without hyperlinks added. There is also a substantial increase in the size of the "the cross reference Table.

  This sharp increase in weight becomes a quick and simple process which takes a few minutes in a slow winding which takes hours, to the creation of files with a very slow pace inflated in a process that is prone to crashing and not.

  I hope for another way to create hyperlinks that adds all this weight.

  Details: Here is my current process. It works fine except step 2 causes the final size of the PDF file and the time required for the execution of other processes to increase massively. I know there are different ways to implement hyperlinks in a PDF document - I hope that there is a different approach, that I can use to step 2 which avoids this massive expansion.

  The goal is to create 600 2 PDF pages from an indesign template using the fusion of data, with each PDF with a file name that reflects reviews and live hyperlinks which vary from one record to the next. Here is my current process (for analysis comparative, the machine is a Mac Pro, Lion, CS6, with RAM 6gbs, and all files are on a disk HARD space, no transfer of data on all networks):

  1. Implement an INDD 2 pages with placeholders for merging data and spreadsheet.
  2. Create merged INDD, import hypertext links and other content as text, then run this script in InDesign that makes hyperlinks using live doc.hyperlinkURLDestinations.add ()
  3. Export a PDF to 1 200 PDF page - file > export if step 2 was made, or the merger of data tool if it wasn't.
     • Without step 2: the PDF file is about 110mbs and takes a few minutes to create.
     • Step 2: the PDF file is about 170mbs and takes over an hour and a half to create - I do not know exactly how long I ended up leaving running from one day to the next, but he had already run 1: 20 p.m. when I left and doesn't look close to finishing.
  4. Run this script in Acrobat to chop the PDF into segments of 2 pages with names based on worksheet data.
     • Without step 2: the process takes about quarter of an hour, slightly faster than a secondcreation of PDF files, and PDF files are 700kbs.
     • Step 2: the process crashes after about 10 PDF files and takes minutes to produce each one. Even if it did not freeze, it should be about 25 hours to do all of them.
     • In step 2 and then reducing the PDF to 45mbs through optimizer PDF Acrobat and 'save in reduced format' to cut, backward, compatibility, the process takes about 4 hours, producing a PDF every 20-30 seconds, and PDF files are around 3 MB each. Through to watch the process, almost all of the extra time taken comes from step "backup PDF... "for each of them.

  Each PDF 2 pages has 14 or 15 of the hyperlinks. I do not understand how the 14 and 15 of the hyperlinks can translate into an additional 2mbs of "" and something like the processing time of more than 3500% to create each PDF file.

  Can someone suggest modifications to the script in step three, which could avoid all this overhead? Here's the complete script for convenience:

  Edit - Here is a side-by-side comparison of the "Use of space Audit" tool optimizer based on CSSTidy Acrobat PDF, showing where the hyperlinks add volume. I scored two sharp increases in red...

  

  .. .so there is a massive increase going crazy in the size of the info "Structure", a tiny mbs 0.000238 to 1.76 MB - two and a half times the size of the original file, just on 'info Structure. It's a 740 000% increase...

  There is also a strong increase in fat in the cross reference table, 0,0046 mbs to 0.427 mbs - table of cross-references in the PDF with hyperlinks is more than half the size of the original file.

  The only differences between two files PDF's, we have 14 clickable hyperlinks attached to existing excerpts of the text (the "hyperlinks" are from a PDF file that comes with living aggressive optimization PDF and images are so much smaller).

  So it turns out the source of the problem was the document tags.

  Make sure that the PDF file is not created as a PDF by InDesign Tagged, and it behaves. I don't know what is it about hyperlinks and marking that makes it swell massively, but it does.

  I received a rather difficult request for one of our users of Acrobat.

  Basically, this person has a 100-page document which contains information about employees, with one employee per page. Each employee is identified by an employee number.

  This user wants to divide this document of 100 pages, 100 pages 1 documents and save each new document by the number of employees.

  We have a document employees.pdf (contains the text copy-pastable):

  Page 1

  Employee name: Fred Jones

  Service number: 00001234

  Page 2

  Name of the employee: Jane Doe

  Registration number: 00009876

  We want to divide it into two separate documents PDF, automatically, save in two PDFs named 00001234 - jonesfred.pdf and 00009876 - doejane.pdf.

  Unfortunately the employees would not be listed in the order (only in alphabetical order).

  Is this possible using Acrobat? Does anyone know of a third-party product that could achieve?

  You can have a considerable advantage because your form contains the same text immediately preceding the name and number. You will need to see if extract the words occur in the order that they appear on the page. There is no guarantee that the words will be retrieved in the order that they appear on the page, but often they are. In all cases, you will be able to get the position of the relevant words for use by comparing.

  I just started learning web design/Dreamweaver and I'm working with a site that already exists on a remote server. I set up a local folder for the site and followed the manual to the preferences. I tried to edit a link that was already up on the site (which was linked to the wrong page by the developer of the original site) and failed. The link should point to the page is already created and at the remote site. I have highlighted the text, typed the URL in the preferences box, saved the file and tested by pressing F12. The link isn't quite right (half of the text was dark blue/half color it should be), but it worked... so I proceeded to put the files online. When I went on the site the link does not work... what could be the problem?

• Problem with the new text box - large size

  I have a problem with InDesing and just can't understand why it's happening.

  When creating the text box (frame), I am selecting the text tool and want to drag a new text box, InDesing creates a new frame with size 1221, 058 x 1221, 058 mm (always, no matter what...). When I'm typing in it, the text is invisible, in the same way that it is out of reach of the size of the image (at the bottom right I see the Red Cross). It happenes even after hitting only one character and I can't make it visible (adjust to the right).

  Someone has any suggestions how to solve this problem?

  I will be grateful.

  I have not done this in ages, but do not know what is happening here.

  Basically, I have a link on a page, where the link is:

  And I have my ID just before the form below:

  The link works, but the problem is that the 'Fields' text in the tag ID is displayed as a link - I thought they were supposed to be invisible?

  I tried to create a class to wrap around this single line, using:

  Anchor tag behaves like a link. Thus, the following tag will behave like a link.

  The solution is to use a tag that does not behave like a link such as span or div, etc.. If you want to use the anchor tag and use CSS for style, then you must apply the class to the tag like this:

  I have 2 links button with the following code in Flash 8. We open the page 7 successfully and the other is supposed to open page 8 but do not.

  Page 8 was created by duplicating page 7 in the library, renaming page 8, changing the text and change the code to call the page 8 as shown below.

  I'm new to Flash and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Am I supposed to change anything else, when duplicating a page?

  I think I've fixed this by the redesign of the page and the stacking of the tables stacked instead of a single page of multiples of the columns and lines of connection on a table.

  My original problem was that he didn't there werewide the gaps between images and buttons and residents. Spaces could not be deleted.

• Please help with frozen pictures!

  I'm going crazy trying to understand our images frozen in Premiere Pro CS6. I read this and this and I find completely uselessinstructions. Basically I want to freeze the last portion of a credit roll. That's what I've tried so far:

  I have change the clip rubber band to time remapping: speed, then Ctrl + click on the rubber band to create a keyframe. Then I Ctrl + Alt-drag the speed keyframe to the location where I want it to end, but what is happening is a) gel frame does not work as expected at alland b) action lie the clip for some reason-which is unacceptable to me.

  It's extremely frustrating. What I am doing wrong? What is the best way to accomplish what I want to do? Thank you!

  Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

   

   

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

  Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

  Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1^st in the boot order.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  Not because of the number of pixels, in this photo and the chosen level of quality there is no possible way to create a JPG file to the size of file you requested. You must change your export settings.

  Show us a copy of the export dialog box, so we can see clearly the part file setting and the size of the Image.

  Also indicate the number of this image (width and height) pixels after cropping (as appropriate) and prior to export.
