• 2nd monitor problems with Photoshop CS4 and CC

  I'm on a quest to solve a problem with my second monitor when using Photoshop. When I hit F in photoshop to switch between display modes or when I Zoom in or out this happens:

Until very recently, I used OS x 10.6.8 with Photoshop CS4 with no problems but ran into some problems with applications etc so I upgraded to Yosemite. That's when the problem started.   Apple is aware of these driver problems and work on solutions.

  Turning off the use of Photoshop GPU can help.

  But if you need the GPU features, you can return to a stable version of MacOS.

  Make sure that you have installed the Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 patch and you have the latest video card drivers as this should solve your brush (unless of course you hit shift caps lock by accident)

  To temporarily turn off the pixel grid, you can use Ctrl + H. If you want to turn it off permanently, deselect view-> see the-> pixel grid

  You mean, how do you know if OpenGL is active in Photoshop? You can check that in Edit-> preferences-> Performance

• Help! Photoshop CS4

  Can someone please help me with this request because I'm desperate.

  I record my digital photos as JPEG images. When I tried to open it in photoshop - I get a fuzzy picture with lines overlap making the image look grey and blurry because of 100s of horizontal and vertical lines.

  How can I make these lines disappear?

  This also happens when I open the TIF images too, as well as other saved images. This is the first time I am opening and using the Photoshop application

  Photoshop CS4 use OpenGL to draw the image on the screen, thus also using your video card, not only the CPU. If the update your video card drivers and Photoshop for the last releases does not help then you should probably disable OpenGL from Edit-> preferences-> Performance and disable OpenGL Drawing(you need to restart Photoshop for this to take effect)

  I just bought a new iMac, and I'm not sure what to do with photoshop and lightroom. I bought and downloaded both of them in la for a year and a half through the education discount store, and they are on my laptop. I have older versions of these two products.

  I downloaded only each of them on a single computer (my laptop), but I can't find a way to transfer them to my iMac. I can not download CS5.1 or Adobe Lightroom 3, I thought that if I could would just them have to use the same serial number as you are supposed to be able to download on two different computers.

  That means 'my phone '? If it's a Windows machine, so there is no way to use your PS on a Mac - soap operas are platform specific. Purchase a new license of PS for your Mac then.   I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A200 and I tried to install Photoshop CS4 Extended yesterday.
