help with tabular report

Hello

So, I have a report with a line selector that allows me to select several lines in the report.
I want to make is that a button that when clicked will perform an action such as a bit of pl/sql running against the lines that the user has selected.

Now, I know that there are various processes such as 'update online multi' and "multi-suppression of line", but they don't exactly meets my needs.
I want it so that when the button is pressed, APEX updates a column in each of the columns selected, but the user should not see what is going on on this topic should just do.

For example, I have a column called 'Location_id' that must be hidden and must get to 3 for all rows that have been selected when the button is clicked.

I hope that I explained myself haha

Thank you
Martin

Hello

It depends on whether you allow users to update other fields of the form table and, therefore, necessary to maintain the Multi line update process.

The only thing they can do is check a box update a hidden value, then you could see [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28842/check_box.htm#CHDHFACG] that explains how to add a checkbox control to a normal state and use the results.

They will have to update other areas?

    Hi gurus,
    I'm having a problem with the report. When I add a new column to the existing report its showing no no no result except the filter. Is there a solution for this problem in the responses.

    Thank you

    Is that your new column is a table that is not already covered in the report. If this is the case then check the SQL generated by the report. Run this query on the database and see if you have found no results.

    If she came a new table which is not referred to the report already at the time of OBIEE will create a join with this table and maybe because of this join you don't get any results.

  • Need help with powercli report - thin disk

    Hello

    As always, the forums here have given me what I need, and I learned a lot. However my knowledge of script is still not at the level where I can combine all I learned. I would appreciate help.

    Basically, I want to write a report that shows the configuration of each computer drive virtual MORE stocked the size of the disc if the disc is thin.

    Currently, I have the following two pieces of code that run completely separately.

    1 - show me the size committed

    $report = @)
    #$allvms = get - VM
    {foreach ($vm to $allvms)
    $vmview = $vm | Get-View
    foreach ($disk in $vmview. Storage.PerDatastoreUsage) {}
    $dsview = (get-view $disk. Data store)
    $dsview. RefreshDatastoreStorageInfo()

    $row = "" | Select VMNAME DATASTORE, VMSIZE_GB, VMUSED_GB %
    $row. VMNAME = $vmview. Config.Name
    $row. DATA store is $dsview. Name
    $row. VMSIZE_GB = (($disk.Committed+$disk.Uncommitted)/1024/1024/1024)
    $row. VMUSED_GB = (($disk.Committed)/1024/1024/1024)
    $row. P = [int] (($row.)) VMUSED_GB / $row. (VMSIZE_GB) * 100)
    $report += $row
    }
    }
    $report | Out-GridView

    2nd - produces the majority of the report

    $report = @)
    $report = {foreach ($vm to $ALLVMs)
    Get-disk hard $vm | Select @{N = 'The virtual computer name'; E = {$vm. Name}},
    @{N = "RDM Name"; E = {($_ | where {"RawPhysical", "RawVirtual"-contient $_.)} DiskType}). File name}}.
    @{N = 'Data store name'; E = {($_ | where {"RawPhysical", "RawVirtual"-notcontains $_.)} DiskType}). Filename.Split(']') [0]. TrimStart('[')}},
    @{N = 'Name of the HD'; E={$_. Name}},
    @{N = 'Size of HD GiB'; E={$_. CapacityKB/1 MB}},
    @{N = "Format"; E={$_. StorageFormat}},
    @{N = "Clerk disk"; {E = {$_.Committed}}.
    @{N = 'Memory'; E={ }},
    Get - VM $vm | Select @{N = 'Memory'; E = {$vm. MemoryMB}}

    }

    $report | Out-GridView

    Thanks to those who submitted the code above, I changed a bit!

    Ideally, the 2nd report would contain a "Committed disk" column which shows the < committed > according to code 1.

    Any help or pointers gladly accepted.

    Unless you have a 1 vdisk in line with the strategy of the data (as already mentioned Conrad) store, I'm afraid, it's impossible

  • If anyone can help with a report that retrieves the external ID field in the CRM

    I have an affiliate system where the customer imported 3600 + recordings, some of which were to the eternal ID ("field of your identification on the import file) together and some are not.

    The problem is that I have to update all of the CRM records and impossible to import the changes that I don't know what the original external id value. Catalyst support of business savvy that they can't include this field in a report (don't get started me on that...) and I'm now desperately need a way to get that data on the file and are essential for any news updates via the import of files. I would like to delete all files and start again except that there is no wholesale don't delete option in CRM BC - Yes you can do it in the products but not the CRM or Web Apps...! The only option available in British Colombia is to remove a list of screen at once, but then I have the problem that this issue is not all CRM records - only those whio belong to a secure area.

    My need is urgent, so any free help or otherwise would be approeciated and the solution must be one that allows me to run such export on an irregular basis.

    OK... Thanks to those who feel now offered help and I have a little a goose, but then isn't quite.

    Colombia-British in his usual style of the help documentation, are quite clear in their explanation of the way in which the Unique Id (which is actually the ID ' external ' e CRM under the Misc section). Here is the description from the import of the model

    • Columns of the foregoing represent all the available columns that can be imported using the import of standard contact feature. The columns do not need to contain information, but they must be present on the page, especially if a column instance contains information.
    • If your organization uses its own unique ID to differentiate customers, then use the ID column of your. If a value is present in this column, it will serve the unique identifier. This means that if the contact has been imported previously, and is to be re-imported then its details are updated, if not a new contact record is created regardless of the fact that contact a similar already exists in the system.
    • If the ID column of your unused, while contacts are usually identified by their email address. The minimum requirement for import a contact into the system that is to be your ID, Email address, full name, first name or last name must be on a single line. If these values are missing the line is not imported and import will move to the next line.
    • If you do not provide your ID or an email address and only a name then the contact is added every time regardless of the question of whether a similar already exists in the system.

    Now my understanding is that if you used the Id of your then being the unique identifier, and that these imports all future would have to use that... Well no, that is not the case at all.

    If you import a recordset using your Id, you can simply update these same records with just the email address - you don't need your Id or external at all!  So, what's the purpose of this field at all? I have no idea myself because he cannot be reported, may not be exported, it cannot be referenced - actually the only way you will see she is to open the CRM folder and view details of Misc and buried at the bottom you'll find. That's what I call a undocumented feature!

    So end of this is - my concerns that whatever proved unfounded and you don't have to worry about external / your field Id, no matter what the customer does.

    My advice - forget this field exists and do not care to use it unless you might happen to be interfacing in some 3rd party system through PAI, as seems to be the only use I can think of for it.

  • Help with script Reporting vSwitch

    Hi, looking for a little help to report on the vSwitches.

    The script I've tried to write is shown below, but of course I messed up that it returns only the host names and my column headings.

    Any help really appreciated and pointers where I was wrong.

    Thank you

    Dan

    $vSwitchRep = @)
    $vmhosts = get-VMHost | Name sort
    ForEach ($vmhost to $vmhosts)
    {
    $vSwitchObj = "" | Select the host name, vSwitch, vmnic, TotalPorts, PortsAvailable, MTU
    $vSwitchObj.HostName = $vmhost. Name

    ForEach ($vswitch in $vmhost. VirtualSwitch)
    {
    $vSwitchObj.vSwitch = $vmhost. VirtualSwitch.Name
    $nic = «»
    ForEach ($vmnic in $vmhost. VirtualSwitch.nic)
    {
    $nic += $vmnic
    }
    $vSwitchObj.vmnic = $vmnic
    $vSwitchObj.TotalPorts = $vmhost. VirtualSwitch.NumPorts
    $vSwitchObj.PortsAvailable = $vmhost. VirtualSwitch.NumPortsAvailable
    $vSwitchObj.MTU = $vmhost. VirtualSwitch.Mtu
    $vSwitchRep += $vSwitchObj
    }
    }
    $vSwitchRep

    You're right, it was an error for the vmnic.

    Try this way

    $vSwitchRep = @()
    $vmhosts = Get-VMHost | Sort Nameforeach($vmhost in $vmhosts)
    {
        foreach($vswitch in (Get-VirtualSwitch -VMHost $vmhost))
        {
            $vSwitchObj = "" | Select HostName, vSwitch, vmnic, TotalPorts, PortsAvailable, MTU        $vSwitchObj.HostName = $vmhost.Name
            $vSwitchObj.vSwitch = $vswitch.Name
            $vSwitchObj.vmnic = [string]::Join(',',$vswitch.nic)
            $vSwitchObj.TotalPorts = $vswitch.NumPorts
            $vSwitchObj.PortsAvailable = $vswitch.NumPortsAvailable
            $vSwitchObj.MTU = $vswitch.Mtu
            $vSwitchRep += $vSwitchObj    }
    }
    $vSwitchRep

  • help with simple report

    Try to create a report that lists the uuid, vmid and IP from vCenter for each virtual machine in the CR.

    Here's what I got, but not sure how to put everything together.

    $uuid = Get-VM | %{(Get-View $_.Id).config.uuid}
    $vmid = Get-Vm | Get-View | Select MoRef

    output should look like this:

    vCenter IP          UUID                           VMID
    ----------          ------                           -------
    10.25.1.1          501609fc-9720-a1db-3e4e-d95199d5b2e1   VirtualMachine-vm-12176

    Can someone point me in the right direction?

    And it gives you the IP address of the VC

    Get-VM | Get-View | Select Name,
         @{N="VC";E={[http://system.net.dns|http://system.net.dns]::GetHostAddresses(($_.Client.VimService.Url).Split("/")[2])}},
         @{N="VMID";E={$_.MoRef.Type + "-" + $_.MoRef.Value}},
         @{N="UUID";E={$_.Config.Uuid}}

    Since there are some hooks in the script, I have attached the file

    I need to know what network card physical and ESX are connected to a distributed switch. I've found that for Virtual Switch: Re: help with vSwitch reporting script. I would do the same thing with DvSwitch.

    Any idea?

    Thank you very much in advance for your help.

  • Very slow Macbook Pro (2012), please help with report EtreCheck

    Hi all

    My Macbook runs very slowly, I tried a number of things suggested online but none worked. I recently went to a repair shop and they suggested it could be to do with the dataflex (not sure if this was exactly, but I remember it sounding similar.) They described as a hard drive to another internal component connection, sorry for the inaccuracy.) I have me am replaced, but this did not help either.

    I downloaded the software EtreCheck and I was wondering if someone could help me to make light of the report on possible solutions? I have the feeling that it could be the hard drive needs to be replaced, but have no evidence of that. Verification has been run for the problem of "Beachballing" and got the sub report, please let me know if more info would be helpful. I hope it's telling in a way!

    Hello mrdivorce,

    It looks like of course as evidence of a hard drive failing for me. Hard drives 2.5 "in the MacBook Pro tend to fail after 2-3 years. Judging by the date on your MacBook, I think that your time is up. Maybe try to find a different repair store. Looking for Service Center authorized Apple (https://locate.apple.com/).

    I suggest upgrading to an SSD and increasing your RAM too. Then you have the hardware to run the last OS X 10.11.

    This is one of the most frequently asked questions in this forum. Set the column attribute the text to display as Standard report column and not display text (special escape characters).

  • Tabular report with more than one line by line

    Hello

    I designed a sort of Gallery page, a tabular report with only two small columns per line: a thumbnail from a BLOB column and link textual branching to a page showing the full size image with a bunch of textual information on this subject.

    As you can guess I look at the title of the topic, my concern is to display more than one (say 3 or 4) this line by line, in order to avoid a very long 'portrait' page with a lot of white space on the left and right.

    Is there a (not too complicated) way to do it? I might design a special model (?), but I'm not very used to style sheets and stuff.

    Thanks in advance.

    André

    Re: report columns of the SQL query for a couple of ways to do this.

    As your main concern is to maximize the use of horizontal space, custom report template/CSS approach would seem more appropriate, as the number of columns is not resolved.

    It is also possible to do using CSS inline-block property and given that it is now feasible cross-browser and less side effects and potential problems that the use of floats is probably the way to go.

  • 4.2 - column link works only with interactive report (IR)

    Greetings-

    I have a screen with an interactive report (IR) and a tabular report on it. There is a radio button used to switch between them, of course, both of them have conditional logic based on this button. If the tabular report is the default value, everything works fine. If the interactive report is the default, then the 'link' on the IR used to display single details comes in white.

    Note that if the IR is by default, but you switch to tabular and then back to IR before trying to put in place the single record view, fine. It's almost as if something is not be instantiated unless the table view is loaded.

    The option button and the two reports are in the same region.

    Anyone has any idea on this?

    Thank you
    Scott

    OK, I looked inside. It is a common problem, but you have reached a particular example of this, because it seems that you need not the value of P2_REPORT_SELECTOR in your SQL for IR.
    BUT do you it because you have on your health.

    So, there are two simple ways to solve this problem. As I mentioned previously.
    1. you must fill in the field "Page elements must send" in the IR with P2_REPORT_SELECTOR
    I did it.
    What it does it does the value of P2_REPORT_SELECTOR available in persistent session state so that the AJAX call can seen that the condition is met and that the report should be displayed/rendering.

    2. the other option is a calculation on P2_REPORT_SELECTOR who rule on 1 when P2_REPORT_SELECTOR is set to null. I left this calculation, but it set to never right now. It's the same effect net because calculations save values to persistent session state.

    Without the value of P2_REPORT_SELECTOR to persistent session state, the value is only in memory during rendering. That's why the page renders correctly. BUT so that the report to switch to the display of the page one needs to know the value of P2_REPORT_SELECTOR and the value was NOT in permanent session state, therefore not available for the AJAX call, which updates the State.
    Same thing when VC has been sent, it saves the value of P2_REPORT_SELECTOR in persistent session state. Same as switching the button radio.

    I hope this help out you.

  • Update the Audit tabular report fields

    Hi all

    I have a tabular report. And I'm updating several lines on submit.

    I have the problem with the Audit fields. When I make changes and click 'submit' (MRU), all columns are updated but my verification of fields (Standard report columns) are not updated.

    Please help me solve this problem.

    I use version 3.1 and 9i db.

    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel

    Daniel,

    The best approach would be to create a database however check shutter button in your columns of check and update with sysdate and app_user. For example see below

    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER  SMAPLE_TBL_TRG
    BEFORE
    UPDATE ON SAMPLE_TBL FOR EACH ROW
    BEGIN
    IF UPDATING THEN
         :NEW.UPDATE_DT  := SYSDATE;
         :NEW.UPDATE_SID := CASE WHEN V('APP_USER') IS NOT NULL THEN
                              V('APP_USER')
                        ELSE
                             NVL(:NEW.UPDATE_SID,USER)
                      END;
    END IF;
    END;

    update_dt and update_sid are checking of columns from the sample_tbl table. In this way the front update trigger fires whenever you update any record in the sample_tbl table.

    Thank you

  • How do I reference col tabular report in the onChange event of Txtfield

    Hello

    I need to have the event Onchange on Textfield.
    Whenever I change the text field value, the new value must go to a particular column in my
    tabular report.

    In the onchange event, so I have to pass the column tabular report (target field) as well as the textfield value (this.value)
    something like this:
    onChange = "javascript:changeColVal(this,rowid); »

    I have no idea how to spend the line id / individual column of the tabular report to textfield.

    Pointers on this would be a great help.

    Thank you
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay,

    OK - now have a glance.

    I changed the javascript code to check the cell with "Comments" as long as the value of the headers instead of 'Notes' we can get to the field notes hidden by the name attribute instead.
