Re: M Series Equium died when put in normal mode

Hello

Laptop was working fine last night to what I put it in normal mode. Since then (and maybe it's not related) when I press the switch on the fan starts with the initial burst, whirs the hard drive and the lights turn on but the screen remains blank and then nothing happens. It does not start even in the bios or the logo screen.

The hard drive is fine after having tested on another machine, it just seems to be the portable real. Any ideas to save a new laptop having to buy?

Thank you

Hello

The possible reasons are a graphics card or display malfunction internal. Connect the external monitor to check if you can see what it means malfunction internal display. Otherwise, it's a graphics card related question.

    Try disconnecting all USB devices to see if that it stop.

    In addition, reinstall the drivers for your NIC manufacturer.
    Check your BIOS and see if there is a setting for the network card that says something like "Wake on LAN". Disable is turned on. You can also check the settings for USB legacy. Change the opposite of what it is now, if it exists.

    Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

    This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
    For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
    Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
    your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
    Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
    Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
    with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
    Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
    BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
    presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
    in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
    Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally

    get new manually if you wish.

  • My computer has been doing the BlueScreen thing where it stops every 5 minutes when I go to normal mode

    Original title: Windows Update does not work on security with networking mode

    Hi, if my computer has been doing the BlueScreen thing where it stops every 5 minutes when I go to normal mode. So I go on security with networking mode and I went to problem and solutions and all this stuff, and the Web site that came to help me solve the blue screen was told to go to "All programs" and then go into "Windows Update". but the problem with that is does not work! My cursor will give me the circle of loading bit for a few seconds and that's it! And don't tell me to go to because every time startup repair I have try that he asks me "User" and I tried everything and nothing will work! :/ And apparently, it's a driver problem, not a hardware problem, because I already removed and put in the back of my equipment. Then Yes.

    Thanks for your help! :)

  • Update and select ask when tablespace in backup mode

    Hello

    I have a question related to the DML statement when the tablespace is in backup mode. Suppose that when putting the tablespace in begin backup mode and then during user times run an update on this tablespace statement and validation of the transaction and any other user run the select query on the same data and image that will appear and where to display the data will be taken.

    steps to follow:

    alter tablespace users begin backup;

    Update emp set sal = 4000 where empno = 101;
    commit;
    Select * from emp where empno = 101;

    Now what result will appear and where data will get.

    Thank you

    Hello

    alter tablespace users begin backup;

    update emp set sal=4000 where empno=101;
    commit;
    select * from emp where empno=101;

    As far as I KNOW, the database could function normally and you will not find the difference from the point of view of the transactions. If you check process and the Oracle architecture, bit blurry will be established towards the top and vectors to additional would be saved upward in the newspapers online redo - due to which size of redo would be higher than in normal operations. Second, you must be concerned about the backup - which may not be compatible. In order to better opt for RMAN instead of the user managed backups.

  • Sierra crash when after the "sleep mode"

    My MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2012) after update of the sierra accident when, after the "sleep mode".

    I try to reset the SMC sama NVRAM but always crash.

    suggest to solve?

    Thank you

    When you say 'crash', what do you mean?

    Probably something that runs in the background. Open the black Apple at the top left. Select system, then users and groups and login items Preferences. All deleted in this window.

    You can add applications and programs back to the points of connection with a window to see what is the origin of the crash.

    You can also start the computer start-up (hold down the SHIFT key when you start) which will make the computer start with no 3rd party apps. If that solves the problems, just disable the third-party applications and add back one by one until the problem occurs again.

  • Firefox is faster on the safe mode. Even when I disable all extensions and plug-ins, it does still work on normal mode. What should I do?

    I already tried to uninstall e install again, but rest the problema. When I use safe mode, firefox works correctly. I tried to remove all extensions and plug-ins, but the problem persists. • Firefox 4.0.1 shows almost all of the text in bold. I start to record mode and sound fine, but when I disable all the addon then start in normal mode it broke again.

    So I updated last night, this morning I noticed that a lot of the text on Web sites are in bold.
    For example when doing web yahoo mail unread messages must be "BOLD", while read messages shouldn't be now, they are all "BOLD" anything.
    I started in safe mode, thinking that an addon was broken and at the normal search that seemed to confirm that.
    So I disabled all the addon and manually restarted in normal mode, the problem was back.

    I confirmed all was the addon still handicapped and restarted in safe mode once again, fixed... so I disabled both the plugin and extensions... still broken in normal mode.
    At one point I thought it might be the default aspect so I downloaded one that looks like 3.6 and this one broke... again.

    So that's what I'm wondering, what is not loaded in safe mode which is always loaded when you manually turn off all extensions and plugin?

    This could be a problem with the new features related to the police who are trying to use your graphics card. You can enable those here:

    Tools > Options > advanced > [disable] "use hardware acceleration when available.

    (It's one of the things that turn off safe mode.)

    I don't know if you'll see results immediately, or if you must restart Firefox.
