I have a menu, as shown http://charlesgalea.com/menu_bar.html my problem is that I need to control each tab on its own so that I can change the width of each tab. Is there a way I can do?

No, you don't understand.

You had this idea to control each tab separately and it is not true. The text inside each menu item will tell us how wide, it should be the list item. Padding allows you to separate them so that your website visitors can see as separate links.

You did do the things and have increased your fill (left and right) to 50px.

If you create a menu, I would not attribute a width. You have a container of 45px height and a height of 45px navMenu. I'll assume that your container will be your container for everything, header, footer, and so on, in order to get rid of the height of the it. Your container must set the total width, so I would attribute the width of your web page to this container if you are looking for a fixed width. I do not recommend one with wider than 950px. You will also need to Center your container in your body.

For example, replace:

Help with the menu, Spry bar 2.0

I installed a spry menu bar 2.0 for this site that I'm working. Test site is here.
It seems to work in every browser but IE7. The menus will not fall, but I guess that the links on the work of navigation of the high level (House on etc.). I hate IE. I'm also not sure if it works in previous versions of Firefox as 4.0.

You use IE-Tester, your drop-menus seem to work in IE6, IE7, IE8 & IE9.
