  I worked on a project using CS5 where I have about 300 photos distributed randomly on X, Y and Z coords, I want to achieve the look where the camera flies up to an image and rest motionless for a few seconds so that the viewer can look at the picture, then the aircraft flies to another image and did the same thing, rinse and repeat so to speak. Can someone tell me how I can do this or post a link of a tut?

  Yes, there are updates to all versions of VC for CS5 plug-ins. If this isn't the case, you can still use the version based on a script that comes from originally.

• Need help with sizing and save files in batches

  Hi need help with a project.

  I have thousands of vector files that I need size of 350px X 350px, and then place it on a work plan x 600px-600px.

  Then I need to save it to the web as a PNG with a transparent background.

  Could I do a script for? or is there another way to do it in batches?

  I wouldn't have to open them one by one and resize the work plan then the image and save it one by one as that would take forever.

  Any help some suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  I need help with a project. Subsequently, I want is that a webcam controls the position of the mouse and the mouse position

  control of a video. But I would like the part where the mouse position controls the video.

  So, if the mouse is on the left on your screen, the video will be on the first image and when you move, you're the mouse for

  what you need to do, is to designate a rectangle where users can use their mouse to scroll through the video.  If this rectangle has instance name bar, you can use:

  I kinda need help with a project. I m supposed to do a script that responds to a click and moves the circle of one rectangle to another.

  So, what I want is: when I click on the blue rectangle to the right, the circle must move instantly in the rectangle on the right. And same thing on the opposite path.

  I've been all over the web looking for help with an intervention in an e-card Bday I do and find tutorials that go above my head, or who are too simple for what I have in mind.

  I did the animations in flash before, but have no experience with interactive features (ie the buttons). I'm currently working on Flash CS4 and using Actionscropt 3.0. What I wanted to do seemed simple enough:

  Having a birthday cake with flames in movement on the candles, is reproduced at the top asking you to blow out them. You can click on these flames and when you do, they come out (with a small animation of smoke) and when the last candle you click turns off, it cuts to a page with a text saying happy birthday ect.

  I can't find any specific actionscript on the web to have these flames act as buttons that disappear when you click on, and then have the last button clicked (not necessarily always the same button) to activate the final scene.

  If someone can give an example of specific script, or direct me to a location (s) that would have the info I need, I would be very happy.

  It is unlikely that you will find a tutorial or lesson plan built around do you anticipate making... it is all pretty basic, so here are a few items to help you get started.  Beyond (or before), you should look for tutorials on basic actionscript, that whether your project or not.  You need to familiarize yourself with the use of code.

  You don't need to use the buttons, but you can.  MovieClip symbols will be probably more appropriate, so that you can have each led to being blown out when it is selected.  Assign instance names to them after place you all of them at the scene to do react to be clicked.  Assuming that you want to use the same animation for each, you could each add you assign a different name such as candle1, candle2 candle3, etc...  Instance names are assigned in the properties panel-> select the object on the stage and fill the field containing the "" in the properties panel.

  With instance names assigned, you must assign listeners events for each event handler functions and candle for each listener, although you might share the same function handler for different listeners.

  Let's say that the animation of your candle is a movieclip that is normally stopped at frame 1, using a stop() command, where an another movieclip within its Framework 1 ensures animation of the flame.  When you click on it, you want the animation of the candle to go to the frame 2 where the animation of blow.  Here's an event listener for one of the candles, and an event handler function that would work for all the candles...

  You are the best solution to get more help is to dig and start creating.  When you come across something, start a new assignment, and explain what you did and the code that doesn't work and that someone can probably help.

  Well, the first thing you want to do is forget about format EPS. He served in a modern workflow and can't stand any kind of transparency.

  Also, think that the Illustrator artboard is nothing more than a set of limits. It has no opacity or transparency.

  If you want to see the transparency (an oxymoron) in your editing environment, choose View > show transparency grid. It's a view simple setting... not a file attribute.

  With a work plan, the left margin is equal to 0 with the rule, but with

  multiple work plans, each left margin is set at a different location, based on the spacing settings when you create the file.

  Is there a way to reset the rules for each work plan for each work plan starts at 0?

  Select a different work plan and leaders become specific to the artboard when the leaders of the artboard are selected. I t makes no sense to have each work plan have zero in the upper left corner, unless she is active as the sovereign did stay over the artboard at any time.

  Hello I made a lot of progress on a DVD project, I am working on creating a query menu system until now, I've run into a brick wall last night and it's driving me nuts so I hope someone can help me with a few brilliant Creator here, I'll try to keep this short and understandable because it can be a challenge to transmit Please note other things are happinging with this project , but I'll try to include only relevant information to keep this pointer:

  Basically I have a background image static with a picture on it for a DVD menu I have it animate in and now I'm facilitating a transition from the "main Menu" and "Menu scenes".

  I try to have the scan everywhere (simple) from right to left, picture how the Menu title above and not behind the image is supposed to be 'deleted' as the image sweeps and the menu will then continue to clear off the screen once the image stops; during which the title of "Scènes Menu" sweep on in the reverse fassion (opposite to the clear operation) on the same horizontal plane on the right to the left.

  I first tried to use a solid and the image of the parents and then animate offshore, but my background is not a solid color, there textures so I need to keep the same consistency with the background.

  I was able to create a new comp and use the null with a solid object to allow mobile coverage on top, but I still have a solid color, how can I create a cover 'mousemat' mobile that will be selectrively cover your layers by displaying and hiding what I want.

  For this I'm trying to do a wipe in front of a screen to clear the title of annother and producing a new title using the menus time, same texture background.

  Well they are the menus from en not just text in Ae but I see what your saying what I could do is put a new Basemap layer on and use a couple of masks that changed shape with the directional blur and added a wipe degraded; It seems to work pretty well for me.  Thank you very much for the help.

• I need help with an installation failure to interpret and troubleshoot a Setup log.

  Background: A few years ago, many editors of cinema used Final Cut Pro 6 (also contained in Final Cut Studio 2) for their editing projects.  Shared Apple Final Cut X uses a different format that is not compatible with FCP6.  Sometimes, these editors are called to work on a few historical projects that have been published in FCP6 and need this version to run now.

  Starting with OS X Lion, FCP6 would install not in Lion and thereafter.

  According research by Jeremy Johnston as noted on his blog, he discovered that Apple has inserted a file in the folder CoreServices in the Library folder of the system folder that causes versions the version Final Cut Pro X (and other older Apple programs in the same situation) do not settle.  He suggested changes to this file that would seek to prevent interfering with the installation of FCP6 in Lion, many users of final cut PRO 6 were successful in their efforts to install in Lion and work with it.

  Later in a discussion update on installing FCP6 in Mavericks, HawaiianHippie determined that the simplest way to perform the installation of FCP6 was simply copy this file and remove it from the system folder, install FCP6 and then restore the copied file:

  First of all, I need advice on how to display an extremely large Setup log in this thread (on MacRumors, it is a method to insert a 'code' in a small box that can be the object of a scrollbar if necessary to read all along).  I am unable to find such a method to post here.

  Then once approved, I need help to determine which component is causing the installation to fail and perhaps this element can be omitted from the installation:

  

  If this element is not required, then maybe FCP6 can be installed successfully without it.  And if that omitted element is necessary, perhaps a manual method to install it can be determined by pacifists.

  It is my goal to help those who need to install and use FCP6 on their new Macs running El Capitan.
