helping to create 100 black drawing %K line in a CMYK image

Hello! so, I'm having a frustrating problem. I prepare an image for an offset litho printer 4 colors, and the image must be in CMYK mode. I have two layers in the image: the bottom layer is all the colors, and the top layer is a black line drawing. I have all the drawings to the black line on the top layer converted successfully in 100 %K black for the printer, they need. I did this by selecting all the black lines with the magic wand tool, then Edition-> fill and fill with 100 %K, 0% magenta cyan at 0% 0% 100% yellow k. This worked very well. Here's the problem - when I then try to flatten the image, and I use the eyedropper tool to sample the black areas that were a second ago 100 %K, they are no longer as such. There are all kinds of different degrees of blackness once I have begin sampling autour after flattening the image. I can understand that, somehow the colors under black affect the darkness of the image, but I don't understand why. How can I fix? I need to have a flattened image where black people are still all 100% k thanks.

Check Google or YouTube re: Photoshop Spot color channel. I think that's what you're looking for. (Your Spot color line drawing is black) The function can be found here:

The book still print with four plates. The spot color is abandoned the other colors (they shrink the detachable part of foresee trap) and Spot art channel is added to the black plate (sometimes with a 40% Cyan, so to create a darker black.) Often, alone Cyan is used to strengthen the black to minimise fringing caused by tiny misregister press.)

    Hi Laura,

    It's very strange. I downloaded a new version on the site and it works perfectly. The script is in the right place.

    I can sugggest you right click on the download link and select "save a copy as" the alternative menu. This should save the form locally and from there, you should be able to open it in Acrobat.

    If you are a Mac, make sure that the form opens in preview from Apple.

  • Layers with black and white line drawings.

    I am trying to create a black and white line drawing illustration. I did my drawings on paper and scanned them. Can I PLACE each part of the drawing in its own layer to photoshop. How can I better get the top layer to have a transparent background, so that it is 'visible' to the other layer?

    (For example, I have a little girl brushing his teeth.) I also drew the washbasin and the mirror and wardrobe that will see behind the girl. When I put them in two of these pictures I've drawn and scanned, the white background of the girl covers the background picture of the sink and the Cabinet. I tried to use the magnetic tool to trace around the girl and then I copy and paste on another layer and get rid of the original opaque. My lines out as clean and clear as I'd like. Is there a better way?)

    Another question: on one of my layers, I want to adjust the size, cut it down and possibly do a spin. How this transformation of size on a single layer and not the entire file?

    Hi redpenpenny,

    C.pfaffenbichler said, "multiply" blending mode is your friend here.

    To illustrate this, take a look at this composite that I made using my Wacom tablet:

    1. I drew two coats, one with a face and a with a bubble, they are located on separate layers and both have a white background (like your digital images)

    Fig 1:

    Fig 2:

    2. then, I selected the top layer (which is being the bubble) and changed the blend mode 'multiply '.

    Fig. 3:

    3. the white background fades and the two designs are now visible.

    Fig. 4:

    4. just for fun, I placed a texture of paper, I found online on the bottom layer and put my face "Multiply" layer that actually seems as if it was drawn on paper.

  • I want to draw a line between 2 specific points on an image inserted in a Panel? Help, please!

    I am a beginner in working with LabWindows/CVI and I want to draw a line between 2 specific points on an image inserted in a Panel? Please help or examples of code.

    As evidenced by the Wolfgang there is a problem in the definition of recall. InstallCtrlCallback wants a reminder of the standard of review as a parameter: apparently you have structured your reminder callbackName on the prototype of a recall of Panel, which obviously missing the setting "control".

    In addition, the recall of control should be said somewhere before it can be used. In other words, you must add his statement before your function {main}, either in one of your include files, or directly in the code. This is the reason for the error 'found int, whereas CtrlCallbackPtr. '

    Third point: you create a new picture control in the callback assigned to the image control. And you reuse variable 'Test', which already holds a valid control ID...

    Finally: what you expect to make from '1' in callbackData parameter, given that you do not use anyway? Unless you want to adapt the behavior of recall some past in callbackData conditions, you must pass NULL as the parameter.

  • How to remove the unwanted parts of drawing black and white line

    I scanned in a flower art simple black and white lines.  I would like to remove some of the petals in Photoshop.  How can I do?

    Thank youFlower003.jpg

    I would like to remove the petals from the background.

    1 method: with the select magic wand the white bg, select-> invert the selection and create a layer mask.

    The layer mask is a monochrome picture, transparent black, white is opaque and anything in between is more or less transparent.

    You can now select the layer mask, use the brush and black paint, where you want to have something white, removed where you want to have something added. It is non-destructive and works very well on your photo.

    You can use shift click to 'draw' the small lines to attach to the top. According to the clarification, it will take more or less time. As I said are non-destructive.

    Second method: you use the pen to draw the lines around your flower vectors. With little exercise, you'll very quickly and you can always adjust the curvature of your curve, by pulling on the handles of the curve. Here you can see how it works: drawing with the pen in Photoshop tools .

    When done with the pen tool, you can add the vector line as a vector mask. You can even refine your mask after finishing. I suggest, since a mask of course work at a refined mask.

    The flower should not be on a layer, a background layer. Basemap layers have no transparency. The two methods are non-destructive, so you can return to the original image or parts of it, whenever you want.

  • Why photoshop create new shape layer whenever I draw a line?

    Hi guys

    I try to draw a bunch of lines, but Im having a problem. I start with a blank page, then I create a new layer. There are, I have the line tool and draw a line under this layer. That layer because that immediately a layer of "shape". Then I draw another line, and rather than stay on the layer, it makes a new layer of 'shape' and mask the previous layer. This continues and and for each line, it makes a new layer and previous mask. Why he continue to create new layers? I want that all the lines stay on the same layer.

    Thanks for your help

  • draw the line between black pixel: coordinates of the selected pixels?

    Hello

    I want to build a script that can check a Photoshop file and:

    -find the black pixel

    -for each black pixel, looking for an another black pixel at a maximum distance of 5 pixels

    -then draw a line between the two black pixels.

    I wrote this script below (my first script...), but it's VERY slow (and my final image is VERY large), I think because I test the color for each pixel in the image.

    So an alternative would be to select a black pixel with the wand, then the script record all the details of the selected pixels, then my script wil test only the pixels (less than 1% of the pixels are black in my image).

    Is this possible with JavaScript?

    Thank you for your answer!

  • Scrolling with the mouse on the pages to create black and white, lines

    When scrolling with the mouse, periodically the entire screen turns into black and white lines. Page sometimes together, sometimes just from ads pictures/side. If you continue to scroll disappear but you need to scroll to where the lines have begun, it's hard to explain, I took 1 picture of the problem but will have more photos that I can, I love how Firefox works on my computer, it has always been the best browser for my needs. I recently bought a new desktop computer, but he did so also, so I deleted and tried to launch the Explorer and Google and I don't like, so I hope that we can settle this problem.

    I don't know if it solved the problem, but he didn't precisely these days. Thank you

  • Adding a double layer of a line drawing makes lines look more dark / thickest. The more layers, the thicker the lines themselves.

    I draw the picture of drawing line type "Cartoon", with a size of pressure brush hard. When I duplicate the layer to place over it, the lines appear darker and thicker. The more times I copy the layer, thick lines get. (See pictures attached). until finally almost all of the white in the hair of the woman disappeared.
    The layer is brush only, on a white background which is on its own layer.

    The opacity of the layer is 100% brush opacity is 100%.

    Layers are set to normal.

    I have reset my preferences, and I have the reset tool.

    I paint with a Wacom Intuos Pro and also deleted / reinstalled the drivers for it, so reset the service.

    So, how to stop this?

    I need to duplicate these layers and keep them looking for the same thing, that the final product (an animation videoscribe) needs adding progressive layers to the image that I added in the different elements. (Ps has not always done this... it has been progressively worse... it used to work very well.)

    one way to avoid this:

    to add a white background below each layer and group them, then duplicate the Group

    LabVIEW 2009 SP1

    You want essentially is a loop with an event structure when you process mouse down, move and up to events for the controls. There are several ways to implement something like that, but it will be probably the simplest:

    1. Use a table or a listbox multicolumn for your grid. Hide scrollbars and headers.
    2. You can use the ActiveCell property to-2, - 2 to select all cells. You can then use the cell size property to define the exact size of the cell.
    3. Then you put a picture on the top of the table control and color its transparent background so that the table shows through. Property node allows you to ensure that both line up on exactly the same location and size.
    4. You use the mouse on the image control events to detect clicks and moves.
    5. Point of the table to the method of the column line allows you to translate the position data of the event to a cell.
    6. You use the image control screws to draw the line on the photo based on these data.
    7. You can even color the cells selected in the table by using the table properties.

    If you want to simplify things a bit, you can also use the event of timeout instead of moving the mouse event to draw the line, but then you keep the timeout value in a shift register and hand it to-1 (no timeout) when the mouse event to the top.

    I would also say treatment mouse enter and leave events to change the cursor and cancellation if the user leaves in the middle of drag.

  • Illustrator CC 2015, need to draw the line after line with arrowhead already attached.

    CorelDesigner has an option where you just draw your line / lines and arrow is already added at the end of the line.  Not only that your arrow lines can have a color outside the line (which surround it). So if you make a technical with arrows pattern when placed on top the drawing there is white or what ever color you want outside the black line (what thickness you choose so) so it's easier to read the technical drawing. So, basically, it's not line against line. That's why you would put a little white around the line. He gives him the space to breathe and easier to read the technical drawing. In Illustrator, I find that I draw my line. Then hover over the line options palette, and then scroll down arrow heads and choose my arrow head. Then calculate the rest, make outside the line have a white that surrounds it. Thus, it can be placed on technical drawings. I find there are many steps I have to do when Corel has this feature built-in and you leave. I currently have a trial version of Corel. But... I already have Adobe Suite. I don't want to have to buy another program. But I also see that CorelDesigner is somehow more user-friendly for people who need to work with drawings technical line (writing). I understand that not every program offers the same tools. But I really need the speed of it because I work with a lot of technical CAD which are handed to me. If there is a way in Illustrator to draw my lines one after the other with the arrow head already attached? Then of course I need little white around it if its duplication on other technical lines.  It just seems like a lot of steps in Illustrator. I also understand I could draw a line w/arrow attached installer as I want. Then draw another line... use the eyedropper tool and click on the correct line and my other line with change. Once more... what a pain. I feel that I have to jump through hoops to get my final result. I hope so that there's something built in Illustrator, I did not know was there and just unnoticed.

    Yes, I was able to do, but this is delicate (buggy) to get there.

    Make sure that the two traits have identical points of arrows and line widths.

    After you have created your effect of offset on long-distance running, move the effect of shifting way somewhere else in the stack, and then put back where it was. This seems to be the only way to make it work. Weird.

  • Draw a line?

    I'm really sorry to bother all of those of you with that.  Seems trivial, but is there a simple way to draw a line on the edge?  I could do it in photoshop easy, but workarounds are boring.  Use the tool in the box, but is not giving me the desired result.  I want a simple thin dotted line.  Tired using the tool text but again too much time creating a work around for the effect.  seems I can't draw an area smaller than x 4px 4px.  It goes the same for an ellipse.  What gives?

    Here are the 3 solutions.

    On stage, I drew a Rectangle, an Ellipse, and a rounded Rectangle.

    (1) draw an arc with the canvas tag.

    Source: http://www.html5canvastutorials.com/tutorials/html5-canvas-arcs/

    SYM. $("Rectangle") .append ("");

    var canvas = sym.$('#arc') [0], context = canvas.getContext ('2d').

    x = canvas.width / 2, y = canvas.height / 2, RADIUS = 75,.

    startAngle = 1.1 * Math.PI, endAngle = 1.9 * Math.PI, counterclockwise = false;

    context.beginPath ();

    Context.arc (x, y, RADIUS, startAngle, endAngle, anticlockwise);

    context.lineWidth = 15;

    context.strokeStyle = 'black ';

    Context.Stroke ();

    (2) a bow using css border drawing.

    Source: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/CanvasRenderingContext2D/arc

    SYM. $("Ellipse"). CSS({)

    'border-width': '4px ';

    'border-color': 'black ',.

    "border-top-style':"solid. "

    'border-right-style': 'none',

    'border-bottom-style': 'none',

    'border-left-style': 'none '.

    })

    (3) arcs false using CSS3.

    Source: http://jsfiddle.net/davidThomas/KcmfC/

    SYM. $("RoundRec") .append (")

    ');

    .CSS ({$("div #arcs") sym.

    'border': ' 2px solid #000 ",

    'View': 'inline-block ',.

    "min-width": "4."

    "min-height':"4. "
