• Batch (actions) of the PSD to Jpeg conversion

  Until a month or two ago, using photoshop CS5 - windows, a batch of files psd conversion of many say fred1. PSD through fred10.psd gave me fred1 jpeg through fred10.jpeg. I have saveconversions in a folder of jpeg of discharge to another disk where there is also, dump dump tiff with tiff and psd serve not to much.

  Using measures, the first conversion of a series will be fred.jpeg, but later, it will be copy.jpeg by fred10 copy .jpeg fred1. No big deal for some files as the copy of words cannot be deleted. However, if a JPEG say fred.jpeg should be updated to say a slide show or web site then the news of the conversion of the file updated as fred copy.jpeg causes problems of identity.

  Please, please, how can I go back to the situation where the fred.psd becomes fred.jpeg and not fred copy.jpeg. This seems not to happen for individual conversions the manual way. I tried to convert to JPEG 2000, but the same thing happened. I'm not sure of jpeg 2000 and how it would work if holding on to a processor phot for "prints".

  Thanks for your help in the past and I hope that your help now. I am hoping to move to photoshop CS6 and dreamweaver CS6 shortly that I did the calculation over three years and upgrades to purchase seems to be better than the monthly arrangements.

  Hello, why don't you use the image processor, in the bridge tools > Photoshop menu? It allows to make easy conversions without setting up complex actions.

• RAW to JPEG conversion

  I'm doing a simple process, but my mind makes it so difficult I have do a long process.

  I am running CS5 with windows 7. I shoot RAW images and as you know, if I want to download in a web album, they must be converted to the JPEG format. Simple, but how are you?

  Better yet, is there a way I can select several images and then say CS5 to keep the RAW image, but make a copy in JPEG format?

  I guess I should ask the most important question is if this process is best if done in Lightroom 2.7 or better in CS5? If everyone says I should do that in Lightroom, then I'll ask in this forum.

  Camera Raw does not normally open .psd files, but you can get it to do it via the file - open dialog box if you choose Camera Raw as file type.  Photoshop opens normally these files directly, as you saw.

  Please increase the resolution to correct.

  Go to Menu Image > Image size > increase the resolution as needed and click OK

• Help with a conversion from an ESX 4.0 host ESXi4.1

  Hi all

  I'm new to VMware. I was given a task to virtualize infrastructure. I bought 3 dell 610's with 64 GB of ram and an equallogic SAN 6000. I have all three new hosts and the SAN in collaboration with a few virtual machines running in it as it is. I have the advanced VMware license. I also have VMCenter installed and working.

  What I need help on is the following:

  I have a computer host running ESX 4.0 with a local storage with exchange 2003 and windows 2008 r2 server x 64 running on it. How can I move the two virtual machines to the SAN, and then upgrade to the host ESX to ESXi 4.1?

  Hello

  As Scott says, you simply add the host in vCenter Server and connect the ESX to the San.  Then you can migrate your VMS (virtual machines must be turned off) from the existing to the new host.

  If for some reason you cannot connect the host to the SAN, then you can try with vCenter Converter to do a V2V conversion to migrate your virtual machines.

  Finally, there is no way to upgrade from ESX to ESXi, so you need to do a clean install of ESXi on your existing host.

• TIFF to jpeg conversion question

  Need help.  I created a .tif file by scanning an image using VueScan software.  It is pretty big, too big to send by e-mail.  I open in PSE 9 and tried to save it in jpeg format in order to make a fairly small file to send.  When I do a "Save as", PES 9 does not give me the option to save in jpeg.  Any suggestions?  I need the large TIFF for archiving, so I work with a duplicate.

  You probably have a 16-bit tiff file. First go to Image > mode > 8 bits / layer to reduce it to 8 bits, then you should see JPEG option. JPEGs are always 8 bit files.

• Problem with CR2 files to JPEG conversion

  Hello. I have a new digital camera Im using. When I load the photos on my computer Im having to convert the CR2 photo in jpeg format in order to open them. I use Windows to do this. At first it was working fine. I went to the file to make a copy and then save to a different file name and move to the jpeg format, press save. He did it for the first two. Now I am receiving and error message that it cannot save the file. I tried to do a repair program (did not work) I tried simply restart the computer, then it will save 1 then the same message. I have a great project to do, and I need to understand something! Please please if you have a solution. Thank you very much... FYI...   Your device is set to use prorietary format known as CR2 Canon RAW image. Without getting too technical, the RAW images have the advantage of being 'more real' image by your cameras sensor. It's perfect for the professional/amateur photographers, but it is not necessary for the average user of camera RAW files have the disadvantage of being larger than JPEG files, and unsupported without additional software of Windows and many programs.

  If you are by far the best solution would be to set your camera to capture photos in JPEG/JPG format instead - on average check Manual of your cameras on the way to do (it must be simple). In this way, all your photos will be in JPEG/JPG format and will have no problem comaptibility on Windows (or probably anywhere else).

  Yes of course you can.

  In bridge select your images and then edit in camera raw.

  Look in camera raw in the lower left of the camera raw dialog box and you will see a save as button.

  This will allow you to save your raw jpg, tiff or png files.

  I do not have an instance running (tested on XE) 11 so I can't use "magical" things like regexp_count and fun stuff. This should give you a basic idea of how to analyze data well.

  I decode your delimiters in something "more manageable" just because it's easier than worrying about the escaping of special characters and all that fun stuff I'm too asleep to try.

  Since you are dealing with a CLOB (you actually over 4,000 characters of data?) you have to give it up and look for a function in the pipeline as a suitable alternative.

  I really seem to have a problem with wrapping my mind around Java.  Could someone help me with this particular formula?

  The JavaScript code to place in the event of a field Calculate would be something like this:
