HP psc 1215 all-in-one: I accidentally reset the settings to the printer on my MAC, how can I re - install my printer

Hello my printer is offline so I was trying to remove and add it again, however I accidentally reset printers 'recorded' and he's completely lost. How to reconnect it? I am connected to my printer with a USB cable. My computer is a MAC and psc1215 all-in-one printer. Thank you.

I came across your post about needing help to install your PSC 1215 turn it on for your Mac running 10.10. As there are has no comprehensive software features or drivers available for this printer on 10.10, you'll need to install the printer by an update from Apple.

  • HP PSC 1210 all-in-one: could not open the HP Director icon to the desktop

    I installed the CD software for this fairly old printer on my laptop Windows 10 (64-bit). Everything seems to work fine except that I can't access the HP Director. I tried to check on the resources from HP site, but it does detect not all HP products on my laptop even if the printer is plugged in and on. Also, I searched for the car and the road status update on the site of HP tools. Even if I see my printer listed on the player page, it has no download button click next to my model. I was trying to see if the drive indeed download when I installed the software.  Again I don't know even though most everything works except for no access to the HP Director. I guess that the fundamental question is whether or not this now old enough (but still very good printer) can run on Windows 10. I used it before on XP. I'd appreciate any help with any of these issues. Thanks, Peggy

    HP Director is not intended for Windows 10.

    The original CD was made several years earlier version 10 of Windows.

    Right click on the start icon and select programs and features, and then delete any software installed client the HP of your printer.

    Install the software by following the steps below:

    Be aware that no full functionality is available for Windows 10 since it is an older model, scan and pritn base drivers are provided by the operating system itself.

    I have Vista 32-bit with SP2 and a printer all-in-one hp psc 1215.  There is no driver to download, the printer works under Vista.  I understand that I may use just mspaint or windows photo gallery to scan to the computer.  Is there a way to scan multiple pages in a doc for sending e and recording on the computer?

    The only formats I can see painting and Win Photo Gallery are bitmap, jpeg, gif, tif and png.

    My computer expertise not much!

  • My PSC 1210 all-in-one not Scan after the recent software update

    There is no if long software update asked me to install the last change of HP software. Which is curious, because when I look in the download, the last of them for OS10.6 section, which I run, was released in 2009.

    Before, I scanned successfully by using the Print & Fax system preferences.

    When I did it today, thogh, after choosing the option to Scan and then open Scanner, I would get the message that there is 'no scanner not selected', although HP psc 1200 series at the top of the screen. I tried scanning several times and got the same result every time.

    What can I do to get this working again?

    Hmmm, that seems strange that you will receive an update for a PSC 1210, because I do not think that there has been updates this software for years.

    Have you tried to uninstall the driver and then reinstall?

    Click on drivers & downloads and select your operating system (Mac OS X) from the drop-down list and click Next.  Expand the sign next to the driver - product Installation software (8) + and then download/install the driver for 10.6.

    I followed all instructions for re - setup my wireless network, uninstall the printer drivers and reinstall printer drivers / (including all renamed to .old .dat files), but once it gets to the installation wizard, in the phase of control system, it tells me:

    System cannot find the specified file.

    What is c? I can't spent to complete resettlement, so I can't use all the features other than printing printer! Can anyone help?

    Follow the steps below and check if it solves the problem:

    1 open the Mcafee Virus and Spyware Protection software you are interested in, click on calendar and perform analyses. Click analysis in real time, and then click stop. Select until I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the button turn off.

    Now, try to reinstall the HP software and check if the installation goes as planned.

    If the problem persists, continue following the steps below:

    2. open the dialog box run by clicking on the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir%, and then click OK.
    3. type hpoins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)
    4. type hpwins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpwins1.old)
    5. start the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /Unregister. in the Run dialog box and click OK.
    6. launch the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER in the Run dialog box and click OK.
    7. run the installation file and check all difference.

  • My "hp psc 1215 all-in-one" will not print.

    Windows Vista 32-bit,

    I can't print from my Dell laptop inspiron 1721.  There're are equipped with two new b/w & color cartridges.  The print queue will not let me delete when status says it is printing, but ' nt print.  The printer works when it is directly from the printer & scans of the printer to the laptop.  How can I solve this problem?

    Error 0 x is a generalized ink system failure message. There are a number of reasons that would entail. I would have pasted the instructions in my post, but this document is pretty length the nature of the error.

    Just for the last month, my printer does not appear as a device on my pc.  I checked the connections, tried to detach from the pc and then reinstall it.  I tried again today after a reboot.  I don't know where he might be my software to attempt to reinstall the printer.  Any suggestions?

  • ENVY5530 e-all-in-one:. Problem of the printer (ENVY5530 e-all-in-one) with a sweep

    I have a problem I scan a document to an email.  The States of "Server connection error" messages and "there was a problem connecting to the server.   There is no further explanation or any indication as to what to do to fix.   I have never had a problem with scanning and don't have an idea why this is happening and the system does not.   Have tried rebooting the computer, I get the same error message.   Any ideas?   Thank you.

    I understand that you have problems with the help of e-mail scanning on your 5530 desire. I can help with that. To correct this:

    1. On the printer, click Web Services icon in the upper left corner of the screen. It looks like a tablet with a phone beside her.
    2. Click settings.
    3. Scroll and click on remove Web Services.
    4. Once back on the main screen, click the Web Services again.
    5. Click on accept.
    6. Click Yes.
    7. Try scanning to E-mail.

    If you use ePrint to the printer, then you will need to add the printer to your HP connected account. Once you have signed in, click on the devices tab, and then add a device.

  • Printer HP PSC 1400 all-in-one still affects offline

    Printer HP PSC 1400 all-in-one gets always in offline mode after a print job is cancelled or caused an error. I'll need to ALWAYS restart my computer each time this happens because this is the ONLY way for the printer to connect again. The solution Center HP says that it is online and ready for printing. I can still scan documents.

    But the problem is that whenever I try to print a document to MS Word 2013, he says that the printer is offline.

    I tried printing from another program such as Notepad, it always says offline. Even the print manager says its offline.

    I read another post that a doctor scan or something can solve this problem, but the link is no longer available. Can I ask help of you all here? Thank you.

    I saw your post on your printer PSC 1400 series showing you that it is offline and will not print on your system Windows 8.1. I have a suggestion that might help you get through this problem. The tool, as you also mentioned, the print and scan doctor is one of the steps for troubleshooting as well!

    I hope that allows you to get back to you online and print again.
