HFM process control

Hi all, I have v.11.1.2.1 HFM

I tried to generate custom through the HFM database reports, but I need some help with a few tables, that I have not been able to find.

While in the process control panel, each time I right-click a phase that the "History of process flow" option appears. If I choose what it a pop window with the historical records of this phase are displayed. I was wondering if it was possible to find that exact or tables so that I can manually build a query.

Any help?

Thank you guys

I bet they are ID numbers that correspond to a level of process just as there are for different tasks of HFM identification numbers.

I know that in order for me to come up with the associations of the name and the ID number of the task, I went in fact through ASP pages. For example, when you go to the review task page, there a drop down which shows all types of tasks. Guess what... If you look at the source code of this page, there is a list containing the names and identification numbers.

I'd be willing to bet that you can do the same thing to determine the process ID / name of the associations.

While I'm not a super pro on this product, I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night and I hope that this opinion is not send you on another goose hunt.

  • the user running the export / HFM process

    Hello world

We need export data on a network share to HFM.
Informing Department they need to give him access to the network share that I need to specify (in general) - out of HFM, let's use vbscript Rulesfile to create a file and write lines in there.

In general: what user SYSTEM (for example in taskmanager the user running the process in the operating system and of course not the user of shared services) will write this file? For example, in essbase, it is the user who runs the process essbase = > here I know;).

-C' is the user who runs the HFM process? Is there any special device for export / when the rules file is run?
-It is usually the user which was used during the installation?
    -is the general system user?

I am unfortunately not able to log the servers directly to have a glance - but I just need to ask the right questions of the installation team.

    All responses are much appreciated.

If you use WriteToFile in HFM rules, the file is generated by the user DCOM of HFM. Thus, the DCOM user must have write access to any network share, you want the output files to, and then all human users should have access to the same share.

  • How HFM process records

On a learning curve, I'm playing with the consolidation rules and debugging.

In order to understand the functioning of HFM, I added the following rule of consolidation, with the appropriate WriteToFile sub().

    Void Consolidate()

    Dim MyDataUnit

    Dim lNumItems

    Set MyDataUnit = HS. OpenDataUnit("")

    lNumItems = MyDataUnit.GetNumItems

    for i = 0 to lNumItems-1

    Call MyDataUnit.GetItem (i, strAccount, strICP, strCustom1, strCustom2, strCustom3, strCustom4, dData)

    Call WriteToFile ("Line 1;" & lNumItems & ";" & i & ";" & strAccount & ";" & strICP & ";" & strCustom1 & ";" & strCustom2 & ";" & strCustom3 & ";" & strCustom4 & ";" & dData)

    next

    EndSub

After running a consolidation my result file looks like this

My first entity has (INumItems) 258 records, 21 second.

I expect the system to work through each feature in a sequential order, but I see them intertwined. So my first question

    (1) is due to a parallel processing?

the numbers I have loaded are different. For example, for the first line, I loaded the amount 15887.48871 and not 15887.488716

    (2) where is this 6 coming from?

Thanks in advance for any idea,

    Patrick

Yes, I could say, HFM uses a PARALLEL treatment.  It's difficult handwriting of newspapers.  I think that the treatment is shared between the entities, although I have not really dug too deep into it.  You will need to modify the writetofile routine to write a separate log for each entitiy confirm.

As that 6 in the end, you are course that is has not been responsible for this way in the system?  In addition, it is the routine of consolidation, which means that it is to translate.  Is it possible that is the result of exchange rates?

Go to a grid, explore the this intersection, right click and click on information of the cell.  At the bottom it will show you the data displayed, stored data and data full resolution.  The last two are probably the 6 extra.

  • Citing long lived process control folder?

    Hello

I have to build a long term process that begins when the xml data are filed in a folder.

Once the XML is received, it must be entered in the form and assigned as a task of process management.

Long-term process should be defined with an endpoint Manager task, but using looked the file to invoke the process it's a control folder...

How can I set such a process?

    Thank you, Yan

    Hi Yan,

in fact, the process has no need to have a task manager endpoint. Task Manager endpoint is used only if you want users to start the process from the workspace.

For your process, use a control folder end point. In the process, the first step is surgery Assing task that uses the xml data you deposited in the watched folder (assuming that the xml is in the correct structure for the form you are using).

  • Process control - level review status

Is there a way to watch 'level Review' (the same as the control of the processes in the workspace) of individual entities through smart view?

    Thank you

It is possible in Ad - hoc mode only, i.e. you cannot use functions hsgetvalue to my knowledge. It is available by selecting Hyperion-> Options and the view tab allows you to display the data, status of calc, or process management. If you use presentations by steps, you select an account in the stage to display the level of the respective processes.

  • Resources approval process control

    Hi all

Have two objects in resource, RO1 & RO2
Two ROs has their own process of approval and disposition process.

I have this affect resources through groups and access policies. (i.e. Group1 will call a strategy of access and this access policy, RO1 will be granted, Group2 will call a strategy of access and this access policy, RO2 will be granted)

    Senario:
When a new user is created, Group1 be automatically assigns to the user. Then the RO1 approval process will be called.

User then go to the "Member of the group" and Group2 menu item assign to the same user. Then, the RO2 approval process will be called.

But, RO1 must be first be granted to the user, before you give RO2. (if granted before RO1 RO2, then error will be fired)...

So if the RO2 approver approves the request before the RO1 approver approves its approval, error will occure.

So what I wanted to do are to control this flow or approvals.

Currently, I have no solution or idea for this.

Is there a way to stop the process of approval of RO2, until approval of the RO1 granted?

    Help, please...

    Kind regards
    Chaturanga

It depends on a little bit of what your needs are.

You can refuse the request of RO2 (as stated Rajiv) or you can put RO2 in readiness until the moment where RO1 is approved. The easiest way to implement the second requirement is to put a brake in the provisioning code service that checks whether all the pre reqs are met and if not locks the task in readiness. Create a scheduled task that "harvesting" tasks stuck in commissioning and checks whether the task can be released.

    Hope this helps

  • process control of a host linux in vFoglight

    Hello:
I am currently able to monitor the process for my Windows VMS by following these steps:
    VmExplorer open
    Expand virtual machines under topology
Click the virtual machine, and then click the process tab
Click the Configuration Wizard to host and run the wizard enter the administrator username and password and you sure
Windows is the chosen operating system and ensure the collection of processes enable for this host is checked. Click Next. Make sure that WMI is checked.
And then you click on finish. In about 15 minutes, I am able to see the processes running on the computer, etc.. I don't need to install a
    Foglight agent components.

Now when I try and do the same thing with a linux host, that I'm not always able to see one of the running processes. To the linux host I follow these steps:
    VmExplorer open
    Expand virtual machines under topology
Click the virtual machine, and then click the process tab
Click the Configuration Wizard to host and run the wizard by entering in the root username and password and you sure
Linux is the chosen operating system and ensure the collection of processes enable for this host is checked. Click Next. Make sure that the
SSH port is set to 22. Click Next. And then you click on finish. After waiting for a long time, nothing never appears. I am able to ssh to this virtual machine
    of all over my network.

So, it is possible to monitor the process in a Linux VM (without having to install an agent) as I can monitor a Windows VM?

    Thank you.

Some of my reports take a little time to run and I find some of my impatient users hit the button several times and it seems to create some problems in the database. • ERPi landing page is empty when drilling of HFM/Smart View

    All,

We implement ERPi 11.1.2.2.3 and have successfully used to load data from a source Oracle GL system in to a HFM 11.1.2.2.3 target system.  We have tested and experienced that pierce the works of Oracle GL of the loading of data established by clicking on the hyperlink source amount.  However, when we try to break through to the ERPi landing page of a grid of data HFM, shape or Smart View using the drill by the ERP Integrator option, the landing page says "No Data to display" in Pierce through summary and drill through the details of the form.

We missed one configuration step in ERPi?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Mariko

It turns out that this problem was caused by two things:

    1) ensure that your security is set on activate via drill with ERPi

    (2) the drill by POV is case-sensitive - if you use a grid of Smart ad hoc View, you must assign your POV exactly the name of the Member (I tend to type in lower case all the when you use an ad hoc network, when in reality, the members are a mix of upper and lower case)

Who said: I noticed that in HFM 11.1.2.2.3 the POV selection in grids of data (and also process control) affects your selection to lowercase for the scenario, vision, value and many of our custom dimensions.  I don't know if it's a bug or a configuration problem (the POV has case-sensitive appropriate forms of data), however, you can avoid drill - through data grids.

I recently bought this laptop. I have the default software installed. However, I don't like the help keys fn (software). It's very pretty, but it uses a lot of resources and it lags behind when in mode 'power save '. There the _anything_ can I do to change? Install more ugly software, but have more performance? Thanks for the quick response.

P.S. It looks like this of the fn keys and process controls called TCrdMain.exe gui. However, it seems quite strange, because I think that this process is used for the card player media, isn't it?

The tcrdmain.exe is a process that controls the keys FN and the TOSHIBA Flash Cards.
The Toshiba flash cards is a utility that appears on the edge of the top of the screen in Windows Vista.

You can turn it off if you think that it of not useful to you, but there is no other programs that could control the FN keys!
