HFM-rule error

Hi guru,.

I tried to do no entry to establish hierarchy with written code entities as loop statement is less than

VOID NOINPUT()

IF HS. SCENARIO. MEMBER = "REAL" THEN

HS =. ENTITY. LIST ("SING", "[BASIC]")

FOR i = LBOUND (has) to UBound

HS. "" NOINPUT "E #" & a (i) & "

NEXT

END IF

END SUB

When you load this rule, obtain information such as the Validation did not... but no error showing...

Please let me know what could be the reason that I am clueless and tried almost all of the things now.

Thanks in advance

Hello

The validation error for some other reason... the rule is not able to validate the a (i)

Try the following

VOID NOINPUT()

With HS

HS =. ENTITY. LIST ("SING", "[BASIC]")

FOR i = LBOUND (has) to UBound

. "NOINPUT" S #Actual.E #"& a (i) &" ' "

NEXT

Ends with

END SUB

  • Error DBWalker with rule ERROR greeting

    DBWalker gives me an error with the greeting on the run rule error call goes to the incorrect object id. But on the greeting call handler, the rule of the error is not visible in SA. How I have difficulty to this rule and clear the error without clear and rebuild the call handler?

    Also, how do call handlers lose their owners? I got the Manager to call for a main number lose its owner over the weekend and calls were getting failsafe message this morning until that this problem has been fixed.

    Unity 4.03 SR1

    You can activate the greetings of error being visible in the surveillance society using the configuration tool advanced in the warehouse of tools on your desktop. The parameter desired is "Administration - expose the greeting of error for subscribers on the SA.

    Usually a handler will be 'lost' its owner when this user or this dL is removed from the system. Unity 4.0 (4) does not send callers to failsafe if the owner is absent, by the way – it will always be so if the recipient is not found, because we do not want to get into a situation where we take a message, we can not deliver.

    Also, 4.0 (4) has links to deletion in there - which means that you can configure a user/DL to act as replacement when you delete a user/DL of the system which was referenced as owner or beneficiary for a Manager - it makes it a little harder to get into this kind of situation.

  • HFM configuration error

    Hello

    I get the following errors when setting up financial management 11.1.2.1 with the configuration tool:

    1 EPMCFG-10397: for the realization of this task, the Oracle database client must be installed.

    2 EPMCFG-10398: for the realization of this task, the file tnsnames.ora Oracle database must exist.

    I had two clients installed on my Win2008server: was the first 64-bit and 32-bit second. TNSping to database is OK. The strange thing is: other modules such as GestionnaireCalc and EPMA has been configured successfully with this same DB connection. I use oracle different patterns for each module, but HFM poster error any system I use.

  • Can we use Boolean or postings in HFM rules

    Hi gurus

    Can we use Boolean, or Validations for the HFM input cells?

    Example:

    1. I want to restrict the user to enter only a single digit (0 or 1 are valid) in a cell for a specific use. (smartview or form on-line)

    2. I want to restrict the user to enter only a single character (Y or N are valid) in a cell for a specific use. (smartview or form on-line)

    After the presentation of the data, if the data matches the given condition there through a validation message or error message to the end user.

    We can write it this kind of rules in HFM?

    Concerning
    Smilee

    Hi Smilee,
    Model HFM validation and error checking is not as you describe. Data cannot be validated at the level of form/data entry. Instead, the validation of HFM model goes like this:

    1. you must provide an account of validation for every posting, as you need, with a common parent generally stated in the accounts of validation in the ApplicationSettings. A zero (or, within the limits of tolerance) in the validation: OK, another value means error.
    2. you write a normal calculation rule, which checks user input for valid data entry and put a zero or one value for the account of the validation.
    3. the user entered values (via form or loading data, FDM, SmartView etc.), saves its data and calculates.
    4. as soon as all the calculations of validation write zeros on the account of validation during calculations, the user can submit successfully (presentation is part of the management of the process). However, if one of the checks fails (i.e. no zero value on behalf of the top of the validation page) the user cannot submit until it corrects the error value. Errors can be found easily, judging by the true account of validation that fails.

    Another comment on your point 2 is that it is possible to write only numeric values in the cells HFM, non alphabetic characters are allowed. You need to replace the logic of the O/N to 0/1.

    Hello

    If you enable the report of Validation Intersection, you have some reported lines that are all black?
    If Yes, then it may be because of a rule of no entry in HFM.

  • Function average in HFM return error

    Hello

    I wrote the following script in HFM calculate ordinary for the calculation of averages. But it gives me an error.
    Someone has used this function and may report the error in this please?

    VOID SUBSaVG

    GSA EXP ' a = #AverageSales "& medium ('a #Sales', '3')".

    END SUB

    As far as I know (always on HFM 4.X!), HFM is not a predefined function of average. You will need to define a new function in your rules as shown below. I received this support earlier. The settings are a bit different than what you have in your example, so you may need to change. Is the '3' in your example the number of the period?

    Function Average (strPOV, strFreq)

    DIM nPERIOD
    DIM strCUM
    I have SUN

    If strFreq = "PERIODICAL" Then
    If HS. PERIOD. ISFIRST = TRUE Then
    nPERIOD = 1
    On the other
    nPERIOD = 2
    End If
    Else if strFreq = "CDA" Then
    HS = nPERIOD. PERIOD. NUMBER()

    On the other
    EXIT FUNCTION 'nothing to see -
    End If

    For i = 0 To nPERIOD-1
    If I = 0 Then
    "strCUM = strPOV &". W #PERIODIC ".
    On the other
    "strCUM = strCUM & '+' & strPOV & '. W #PERIODIC. P #CUR-'& I '.
    End If
    Next

    Average = "(("& strCUM &") /" & nPERIOD & ")".

    Please help.

    Thank you

    Hello. You will need to add additional lines to write the rate and amount. For the rate, search for the function GetRate. For quantity, look for GetCell, but the WriteToFile with the GetCell info must be run from the subroutine for calculating after translation (Value.IsTransCur).

    Entity (with dimensions scenario, year, length and value) may not be specified on the left side of a HS. Equation of the exp.  These dimensions are considered in the calculation/consolidation "block" and are determined by the current point of view.

    If you want this logic runs only on specific entities, and you have more than one, I suggest to use a UDA on the entity.  Then you can do something like (written in pseudocode):

    Created several loading rules and tried to load - FAILED with the same error
    A copy of the application still once and tried to load - failed with the same error.

    Is this be due to the fact that I copied the data instead of created a new application and loaded the outline, and then the data?

  • ASO load rule error

    Hello

    I need help from you all to get this hierarchy in a cube ASO. Dimension entity type is supposed to be "multiple hierarchies enabled.

    ! Entity! Alias entity! O H!
    Entity! ABC! Alias ABC! + !
    ABC! DIV0! Alias DIV0! + !
    DIV0! DVT12! Alias DIV12! + !
    Entity! NotFound! ~ O !
    NotFound! E9! TMS! ~ !

    Here are the errors I get...

    + \\Record #5 - error adding the Label attributes only to Member NotFound (3320) +.
    Entity! NotFound! ~ O!!!!!
    + \\Outline of verification errors: +.

    + \\Member NotFound has an incorrect aggregation operator. Contours of global storage require all members of hierarchies stored to have add (+) aggregation, with the exception of the single label members and their children.

    I tried to change the properties of Member in various ways, but the same mistakes arise. The hierarchy is AS-IS from an existing schema that validates correctly. I don't understand why it fails through loading rules.

    Please, share your ideas.

    Thanks to you all

    My man in California helped me (much) with that the construction of the part of the dimension of it, then maybe Glenns should get points. :)

    Giving credit where it is most certainly due:
    (1) and it's the strawberry that Glenn talked to me and I yes I should remembered sound will have KScope - you cannot load a don't-be-in-Essbase dimension with the first line of the dimension as the cornerstone. Instead, go to EAS and the rule of the load, then Options, then the Dimension definition, and then click rules daughter type "entity". You have now defined a dimension. Now right-click on the word entity and select "Edit properties". Scroll down and you can select several activated hierarchy. Interestingly, once the entity is responsible, this selection in the rule of the load goes because of course that entity is now in the hierarchy and you can build is more in the rule file. Remove the dimension and the ability to define the entity dimension in the rules file is back.
    (2) this worked for me:
    Entity! ABC! Alias ABC! +
    ABC! DIV0! Alias DIV0! +
    DIV0! DVT12! Alias DIV12! +
    Entity! Not found! ~ O
    Not found! E9! TMS! ~
    (3) the State of data load was Parent/child for the hierarchy of entities and fairly simple.
