  8 in 11.2.0.3.8 refers to Oct 2013 PSU patch which is the last. So, they ask you to go with the patch of the PSU. As in the above communication.

  We are on EBS R12.1.3 and DB 11.2.0.2

  I'm going by Oracle Critical Patch Update Advisory - April 2015 and there is no mention of database 11.2.0.2 anywhere.

  According to the releases of Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and 12 Critical Patch Update knowledge Document (April 2015) (Doc ID 1986100.1()

  I must apply patch 20406628 who has a meadow of database patch 19393542 . Now this patch is not for 11.2.0.2

  Do I need to apply this patch side of database? I'm a bit confused.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  By the following document, the last CPU/PSU 11.2.0.2 patch was released in October, 2013:

  You must upgrade to 11.2.0.3 or higher version (11.2.0.4 is highly recommended).

  Looks like a (temporary) technical problem... I downloaded the same patches for several platforms before and they worked then.

  Dear experts, can someone please help me with 2 questions below:
  
  1. is there a way that I can know what is included in the application processor and database? I tried to go through the readme files, but they do not list details of what part of the application is affected by these patches. The reason why I need this information so that we can reduce our reach for the test. Otherwise, to test all modules and it's a pain :-(
  
  2 can we only apply the database or CPU applications or do we still need to apply together?

  Critical patch update (CPU) patches are cumulative, which means previous security alerts patches Oracle and critical patch updates are included.
  You must use the OPatch utility version under the same version of your db. You can download it from OracleMetaLink as latest patch according to the latest version.

  To verify access to the inventory, you can use the command
  lsinventory opatch $

  Install the fix for oracle11g database:
  Make sure that your installation of Oracle database is the same version that you apply this hotfix.
  Close all instances and listeners associated with the Oracle home that you update
  Set the $PATH and approx.
  Define your current directory to the directory where the patch is located, and then run the OPatch utility by entering the following command:
  $cd nnnnnnn
  $opatch applies
  Post installation procedure:
  After you apply this hotfix start all instances of database running Oracle home that you are patching
  For each database running instance of the Oracle of the House being patched, to connect to the database using SQL * more. Connect as SYSDBA and run the script catcpu.sql as follows

  $cd $ORACLE_HOME/cpu/cpuapr2013
  $sqlplus "virtue sysdba".

  Is the General hope that Oracle will continue on this calendar? Yes. But I depend on Appendix - Oracle will announce dates for a long time in advance, so he makes too much sense to plan something unexpected in July of 2013.

  Alig,

  Patches of CPU before 11.5.10.2 are not cumulative. For R12, it is cumulative (it is mentioned in the document referenced below).

  If you apply the patches of CPU to (Note: 986534,1 - versions of Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and 12 Critical Patch Update knowledge Document (July 2010)), it will include all of the previous fixes CPU.

  We will be happy to help you, but before that we need additional information such as the operating system name and version where you try to download the product.

  Also, percentage point the installation fails.

  Reboot the machine and see if Media encode shows his installation, but an update is available, if you see this then download the update directly since, missing in Adobe Media Encoder codecs

  Let us know if that helps.

  CPU fixes were applied on top of 10.2.0.3 linux86(32bit).then we have migrated to 10.2.0.03 linuxx86_64(64bit).i need to install patches of the cpu again since new home isn't cpu patches. Will I apply the patches in the new House and skip the installtion post steps that will be performed after the database connection like that were made when the database was 32 bits?

  It depends on how you have migrated

  For as far as I know, directly copy paste files for 32-bit Linux to 63 bit Linux database is not a suitable migration way, but I've seen it works very well, and if you have adopted this method, I don't think you need to run the installation of the Poles as your dictionary/plsql is already being updated when you run scripts on 32-bit.

  If you have used used tablespaces transportable method and the files converted with RMAN, then you would already have post installation tasks when you created the new database on 64-bit before connecting transported tablespaces.

  If you use export/import, even in this case you would have done all post installation tasks when you created the new 64-bit database before doing the import.

• 11.1.0.7 patch update on binary 11.1.0.6.

  I installed binaries from 11g to upgrade my production envt. I'll upgrade to 10.2.0.4 for 11.1.0.7. The upgrade will be through DBUA. My question is-
  I installed the binaries - so now the basic version is 11.1.0.6. I want to apply 11.1.0.7 patch update and the PSU of Jan 2010 patch on top of it. All I currently have the binaries and no database of this homepage. 11.1.0.7 pacth readme update specifies a bunch of post installation steps that must be done on the database after the upgrade. Because I don't have a database, I can't do these steps now. Does this mean that after the upgrade, I need to perform the steps mentioned in 11.1.0.7 patch update? Also, can I go ahead and apply the PSU of Jan 2010 patch? I am a newbie and am a little confused here. Can someone please explain?

  Your assessment is correct. You will apply the 11.1.0.7 patch and then patch of CPU (why not the CPU of April last patch rather than Jan?). You will need to pass measures of database in the CPU patch for now and run them after that your upgrade completed.

  31 Firefox. 8.0esr was the last 31 update of esr and EOL with no more updates since the release of 31.8.0esr back on 2 July.

  The current ESR is based on 38 Firefox and is at version 38.4.0esr, which was released when Fx 42.0 was released.
