  Looks like a (temporary) technical problem... I downloaded the same patches for several platforms before and they worked then.

  We are on EBS R12.1.3 and DB 11.2.0.2

  I'm going by Oracle Critical Patch Update Advisory - April 2015 and there is no mention of database 11.2.0.2 anywhere.

  According to the releases of Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and 12 Critical Patch Update knowledge Document (April 2015) (Doc ID 1986100.1()

  I must apply patch 20406628 who has a meadow of database patch 19393542 . Now this patch is not for 11.2.0.2

  Do I need to apply this patch side of database? I'm a bit confused.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  By the following document, the last CPU/PSU 11.2.0.2 patch was released in October, 2013:

  You must upgrade to 11.2.0.3 or higher version (11.2.0.4 is highly recommended).

  If you have any reason to switch to 10.2.0.5 (or), so you don't have to worry about patches of CPU, as the last of them to 10.2.0.4 was released in July 2011

  Question: Does means that going forward, the published dates of critical fix will be the closest for the 17th day of January, April, July and October even for 2014 and 1025 Tuesday except another notice of Oracle?

  Is the General hope that Oracle will continue on this calendar? Yes. But I depend on Appendix - Oracle will announce dates for a long time in advance, so he makes too much sense to plan something unexpected in July of 2013.

  Tobias,

  The 3.1.2 patch does not use opatch since it is not patch the Oracle binaries, etc, it's just a SQL script that you run that updates the PLSQL packages, code, etc. inside the database (more than news images, javascript, etc.).

  As such, there is no reason that the patch could not be run on XE (assuming that you are allowed to download the patch etc.).

  I do not understand how the registry patch update, I downloaded and extracted the update, as requested in a temporary folder, but there is no setup install and I'm sure I didn't install anything, unless the system is installed itself without asking me. I want to know how this registry patch works and how it is installed.

  And the creator of disc has lost more than 15 DVDs with the same error code 380381-26-2A030C00. I don't know what to do about this, I tried microsoft solve this software and remove the upper and lower filters in the registry but still I can not burn CD

  Dear experts, can someone please help me with 2 questions below:

I tried to go through the readme files, but they do not list details of what part of the application is affected by these patches.   Critical patch update (CPU) patches are cumulative, which means previous security alerts patches Oracle and critical patch updates are included.
  You must use the OPatch utility version under the same version of your db. You can download it from OracleMetaLink as latest patch according to the latest version.

  To verify access to the inventory, you can use the command
  lsinventory opatch $

  Install the fix for oracle11g database:
  Make sure that your installation of Oracle database is the same version that you apply this hotfix.
  Close all instances and listeners associated with the Oracle home that you update
  Set the $PATH and approx.
  Define your current directory to the directory where the patch is located, and then run the OPatch utility by entering the following command:
  $cd nnnnnnn
  $opatch applies
  Post installation procedure:
  After you apply this hotfix start all instances of database running Oracle home that you are patching
  For each database running instance of the Oracle of the House being patched, to connect to the database using SQL * more. Connect as SYSDBA and run the script catcpu.sql as follows

  $cd $ORACLE_HOME/cpu/cpuapr2013
  $sqlplus "virtue sysdba".
  SQL > STARTUP

  Alig,

  Patches of CPU before 11.5.10.2 are not cumulative. For R12, it is cumulative (it is mentioned in the document referenced below).

  If you apply the patches of CPU to (Note: 986534,1 - versions of Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and 12 Critical Patch Update knowledge Document (July 2010)), it will include all of the previous fixes CPU.

• Install Oracle Linux 6 update 2 in vmware fusion

  Then I looked around and it seems that there is a bug in the oracle linux distro that causes the screen to be cut in the installation program.

  The solution which is given anywhere is for vm workstation and go into the settings of the virtual machine, and configure the virtual machine display to have a screen at 1024 x 768.  Save the settings.

  However in vmware fusion 4.1 I don't seem to have that option.

  Does anyone know another solution for this?

  Hi dalupus,

  The quick and easy solution is just use the keyboard... on most pages Installer, simply pressing enter move you to the next screen, even if there is no Next button visible.  If you change something on one of the pages of the Setup program, the Enter key may not work... In this case also, Alt-N should be is to click on the button "Next" invisible.  With my keyboard, it's the - N Option; You may need to adjust your keyboard and layout.  I can use this technique to make throughout the Oracle Linux 6 update 2 installation on Fusion here.  After restarting the virtual machine in the second stage of the installation, you will see at least the half top of the keys.  Once the operating system is configured and that you log the guest operating system, follow the instructions in KB to install the correct video driver in the comments.

  If you prefer to do the next button appear correctly from the start, you will need to change the configuration of your virtual machine file to include:

  SVGA. AutoDetect = "FALSE".

  svga.maxWidth = "1024".

  svga.maxHeight = "768".

  Make sure that you remove these two lines, once the client's video driver is set to day, otherwise, the virtual machine display stuck at 1024 x 768.

• EXPORT the bug after patch installed

  Hi, I have a big problem. In SQL Developer 1.5.4 without patch I correctly exported query results in different formats. But today I installed the patch. Export does not work, it shows the error ORA-00936 - missing expression. I tried uninstall patch (delete these files - "the patch is composed of two parts, the sqldeveloper.1.5.4.jar file will be installed in the \sqldeveloper\ide\lib\patches folder and the oracle.sqldeveloper.patch.jar file in the \sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\extensions folder. ("To remove the patch, remove these two files and restart SQL Developer") but still, the export does not.
  Could someone help me?

  This has nothing to do with the patch. The initial query fails at the point 1.5.4 without the patch. It's a regression in 1.5.1, but no associated patch.
