Hi, I can't open the PDF files. I recently downloaded a sample of Adobe Pro, but that has now expired and my PC wants an entry code to allow me to open the adobe files.
I do not wish to buy Adobe Pro as it is too expensive.
Please help, not being able to open PDF files starts to hurt my business.
Thank you
If all you want to do is to open PDF files, you can download Adobe Reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Acrobat Pro XI could not complete the installation process, even if the progress window said it was downloaded 100%. In the installation process it uninstalled my previous version of Acrobat, now I can't open the PDF files.
Hi RKrensel,
Please let me know the version of the operating system installed on your computer?
If you are on windows system, run this tool cleaner Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs & restart your system.
Make sure that there are no Adobe process running in the background using the Task Manager.
Then try to download & install Acrobat XI using this link Download Adobe Acrobat products. Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X & serialize using your Adobe ID

I've updated to Firefox 11 and now I can't open the PDFs Online. This has happened on more than 1 computer, using the two OS 10.6.8 and OS 7.0 and on more than one Web site. I tried to uncheck "block pop-up windows" in preferences, but which did not help.
When I use Safari to open the same file to pdf, they open fine. Everything worked fine with my Firefox until I did the upgrade.I prefer to continue to use Firefox, but I can't understand the root of the problem.
Has anyone else had this happen as well?
Thank you, gentlemen, to find a "solution" to this particular behavior of Firefox. It is really curious that even if the screen is blank, you can indeed save the .pdf Ghost and then open the saved file to view. What is amazing to me is that this issue does not seem to be what makes the hit parade of the problems currently experienced Mozilla. Not everyone will be willing to do a research project extended rather than leave the ship for Safari, etc..

After you enable the "Click-to-play" plug-ins, I can't open the pdf files.
In the latest version of Firefox, information on how to prevent the plug-ins automatically load was in the notes. I activated this topic: config. (Click-to-play).
After that, I can not open pdf files! When I click on a link all the that get is a window empty. Reloading page do not help.
What I can do, is to click on the button next to the awesome bar and set the plug-ins always will automatically load to this page. Then the pdf file is loaded.
Another book is about to copy the link and paste it in Internet Explorer. Is this a bug with "click-to-play '?
This is a known issue.
Bug 736998 - Flash click-to-play broken when opening swf directly Bug 747105 - Click to play breaks acrobat reader

How can I open the pdf files of the site.
I've recently updated to Firefox version 6.0.1. Now, when I click on an icon of PDF web page, I get a message stating: "Sorry, PdfMeNot is unable to generate a preview of that file." I'm unable to view the pdf file
Can you not get a PDF file to open it in a window to ask for help? You would do that by changing the setting in the preferences/Options > Applications.

I've updated, and now I can no longer show all files on the web without having to download everything first. It's very frustrating. want to go back to the way it was, but don't know how.
You shouldn't need both Acrobat and Reader. That said, I suggest trying to open Acrobat and help > repair. Also check the plugins or addons to your browser.

Some clients claim they can't open the PDF files of my website!
I have my website with weebly - www.pestczar.com and have a list of material safety data sheets and labels of pesticides that I use and link to individual documents in emails that I send to customers. Some of them claim that they can not open. When I ask them what they don't see, most of them say 404 (?) or something on the drive. What I am doing wrong? This is the document or only my client computers? The link to the materials - http://www.pestczar.com/msds--labels.html
Thank you.
I just 'hand ckecked' each PDF link.
They are all valid.
It's good to be a problem with some browsers the analysis the dashes in the address of the page.

Help, please.
I did something wrong (AGAIN!)
I had no problem with access to attachments to my e-mails, but a problem occurred just.
I can longer open attached pdf files. I am able to preview the files, but they are too small for me to read. When I click to open all the I get now is a kind of icon (in Microsoft Office Picture Manager) with which I can't do anything.
It seems I should have arranged for Picture Manager automatically opens attachments to emails, but when this happens, I'm stuck as what I try, I can't do pdf files appear as they did.
The help file does not really help.
I hope it is something simple, even an old fool like me can do with your expert (and, I hope. friendly) help.
My fingers are crossed.
My apologies if I offended Protocol - this is my first venture.regards

Create a file association.
1. download and save the attachment to the office.
2. right click on the saved file.
3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
4. click on: choose [default] program.
5. Select: (Whatever you have installed a PDF reader).
6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
7. click on OK.This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now.

Acrobat Reader DC works fine and opens a PDF file without problem - until I have a word document open as well-, then the PDF file crashes. I can't open a PDF file, a word document is also open.
For troubleshooting, you can disable the Protected Mode (https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/using/protected-mode-windows.html#id_94783) and see if that solves the problem. If the problem persists, please re-enable the Protected Mode to improve safety.
Let us know how it goes.
