Hi, my fingerprint sensor fingerprint hp dv6 6119 m does not work after I formatted it. Please help me

I formatted my laptop and glass WIN 7 ultimate 64-bit and after it downloaded all the drivers from the hp site, but still does not. Also my I can not find the drivers for PCI devices. Please help me

For the Fingerprinter:

Pilot installs the FIRST:

Validity sensor sp53369 V4.3.205.0 driver

Then install the SimplePass software to interface with the user and to control the password database:

HP SimplePass sp54680 V5.3.1.7

I have not found your software SimplePass to your Web page - V5.3.1.7 should work OK.  If this isn't the case, then there is a more recent version of AuthenTec, that should work, which, in fact, works on almost all platforms of HP laptop that runs a compatible driver (and you do not have a compatible driver).

You need to restart / reboot the computer after installing the software of SimplePass be sure to connect everything together.  In fact, whenever you make a change to this software, think seriously about restart - the database is notoriously difficult, and like a reboot.

Fingerprint reader works fine when the computer starts. The drive works fine if I manually lock the system. When the computer enters mode "sleep" through inactivity, then wakes up from his sleep, the fingerprint reader does not work. The player power led does not illuminate, the player does nothing if I drag a registered fingerprint. I must select use authentication information and enter the Windows password. Device Manager says device working properly but it doesn't help. I checked for BIOS, Windows and driver updates but I run in all aspects.

    Hello

Open windows control panel, open programs and features, make entry for HP SimplePass right click and select uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download the version of HP SimplePass on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp71501-72000/sp71729.exe

Once the download is complete, open your downloads folder, right click on the installer SimplePass and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.

Once again, when this has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, open windows control panel and on the top right, next to the display by: select "large icons".  The new layout, select the HP SimplePass entry and see if you can set your footprint digital log - on.

  • DV7-4073nr - fingerprint reader does not work after the upgrade to HP Support Assistant

    Hello

I have a problem right now. The HP support assistant suggested that I had to upgrade the software of fingerprints to be upgraded and I did it without delay. Restart, the drive does not work. Windows 7 says it's a bad data. no password HP does. What should I do?

Turn the computer off, and then once you turn on, keep the F8 key several times to load the "Windows Advanced startup options" screen. In this screen either select mode safety/Safe mode with networking and log in to your user account by entering the password manually.

Once that is done, do a restore of the system through the control panel and restore your computer to an earlier date, whenever it was working fine. Once the restore process is done, change the settings for HP Support Assistant auto do not install updates

  • Fingerprinting and display does not work after the recovery of the system (Pavilion dv7 4080us)

    Hello.

This weekend I decided to do a restore of the system on my Pavilion dv7 4080us (LW170UAR), as I have done several times previously, using the built-in HP and the recovery etc. partition manager.

Operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and everything worked OK with the new facility, with the exception of two things:

    • I don't see my AMD display driver listed on device listing Manager. Only 'Intel HD Graphics Family' is listed under graphics cards. I tried to download the drivers from the support page, but it doesn't help.
    • The fingerprint reader does not work. I tried to uninstall the drivers and software several times, rebooting and everything else I've seen that suggestions on these forums, with the files found on the support page of my laptop. No luck yet.

I would appreciate any kind of help. Thank you!

Excellent!  I am happy that you now have the correct drivers installed.

  • Pavilion DV6-2140ED: Pavilion DV6: 10 Windows does not start after the upgrade memory (4 GB-> 8 GB)

After I upgraded the RAM in my HP DV6 from 4 GB to 8 GB (2 x 4 GB Kingston KTA-MB1333 / 4G), Windows no longer starts. I get a blue screen and it keeps restarting.

I think that the memory specifications are similar to the Samsung M471B5673EH1-CH9 original memory: Ghz 1333, non - ecc, 1.5 volts, case latency 9 etc.etc.

    It's a laptop DV6-2140ED HP with a processor Intel i5 - 430 m and Intel mobile chipset HM55.

The bios detects 8 GB and it also passes the check/test of memory. As far as I know that I have also installed the latest bios firmware: F.1D. Reinstall my Windows 10 64 bit does not work either: with 8 GB I also get blue screens, after I try to boot my Windows 10 bootable USB drive.

I read other people having the same problem, but I have not read a solution yet. What can we do about it?

    Hello:

Please see this discussion.  You buy a very specific memory for any HP laptop with Mobile Intel 5 series chipset.

  • Check sensor SFR with FireSight via VPN - does not work

    Hello security experts.

I have an ASA5515-X with SFR installed 5.4.0 and manage with 5.4 FireSight installed on the virtual machine on LAN and I record the sensor without any problem but when I try to register the sensor to FireSight via VPN I can't do. The interface on the ASA management has no intellectual property nor nameif configured and the interface is connected to the switch, SFR has the IP even configured as LAN addressing. I can see traffic being exchanged between the sensor and the FireSight but I can't save the sensor.

Has anyone managed to register the sensor via VPN? Is there something else to be configured in order to save the sensor with the MC via the VPN?

The delay between the Firesight and the sensor (on WAN and VPN) I get between 80 and 100 ms, what could be the problem?

    Thank you very much!

    Remi

    Hello

If you are unable to telnet from DC to the sensor on the port 8305 delivers connectivity then.

Can try you to ping from sensor to DC:

    ping -M do -c 20 -s 1572
By default, the MTU is 1500 on eth0, if the ping does not work I will suggest to lower the MTU on the interface and see if it works. See also: / var/log/messages | grep sftunnel and see the error messages on DC and sensor and send it to me everywhere. Best regards, Aastha Bhardwaj rate if this is useful!
  • Validity Sensor does not work after a while

    Hello

I have a HP DV5t with windows Vista running on it. The fingerprint sensor works very well for a while when the system is started, but then does not respond when I slide my finger on it.

In addition, I go to services and see the service Validity Sensor has the status 'on the road', but then when I restart the sensor service starts to meet again for a short period of time before it returns to the dormant mode again.

The time it takes to reach the stage where it stops responding is not consistent. Could you please help me identify the problem and fix it?

just an info. . I tried recovering system, driver upgrades/restorations to date but in vain.

    Thanks a ton!

    Prashanth

I think you're right and it comes down to a driver problem.
There is probably a problem with the sensor when it shuts down or trying to 'wake up '.
Whatever it is, you will probably have to wait just for the seller to come out with a patch.

Are there settings in software sensor that have to do with power? I doubt it, but it's worth the trip.

  • Envy HP DV6-7375ez subwoofer does not work.

    Hi all!

I'm a DV6-7375ez with 'Beats' Audio. I use Windows Pro 8.1 and noticed, that my subwoofer does not at all. I have sound otherwise, I can listen to music, watch a movie, etc. but my sub doesn't work. It is the 4th OS on my laptop (the 4th Win 8.1) since I got this, each driver has been installed, no unknown devices in Device Manager. The Beats Audio software is running, I can adjust treble, bass, Center, focus, etc. BUT! If I go to my sound properties and select the speaker to the title of the reading tab, there is no tab enchantments, for example, I can't toggle environment, remove all enchantments, etc.. I've never tried Windows 8, only 8.1 Pro. I have all the HP software installed. I am sure that every driver installed fine, but there are still some problems...

I downloaded 2 screenshots, I see. Everything seems to be normal, but my woofer is dead now...

    Please help, I'm confused.
    Thank you!

  • Logon with fingerprints does not work after update of Windows 10 1511 threshold 2

Connect to Windows with Windows 10 digital fingerprints and native integration of fingerprint worked well after a new install of Windows 10.

However, yesterday I received the update of Windows 10 threshold 2 aka 1511 update. After this update, I can't connect with my fingerprint more. Removal of fingerprints and re-learning of the fingerprints with Windows Hello do not help. I tried different fingers and made very prudent recognition. But even when the windows screen lock and trying to connect with fingerprint reader doesn't fail. Windows says it's the footprint of evil and after 3 attempts, I need to enter the PIN to login.

How can I reactivate fingerprint logon?

Driver: 4.5.317.0 (PS Synaptics sensors), signed by Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility

The problem was resolved when a new driver has been installed by running the tool "System Update" on my Thinkpad Lenovo. The driver is installed by the tool is "Common validity of fingerprint driver 4.5.503" (the Watch Windows Device Manager driver Synaptics FP sensors 4.5.503)

  • HP dv6-6c10us: HP dv6-6c10us Broadcom 802.11n wireless adapter does not work after windows 10 installed

I have a laptop HP dv6-6c10us with a Broadcom 802.11n wireless adapter.  It worked fine on Win 7.  When I upgraded to win 10, it has stopped working.  The driver has not been updated since 06/02/13.

Until the driver is updated by Broadcom or HP, this computer is now a desktop computer.

Any suggestions on how to get the adapter wireless on Windows 10?

I recommend you to go back and do a system restore to a point before started to install the automatic updates, and where worked the wireless.

Then download this tool that stops updates to install automatically.

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3073930

Hide all of them and then install one by one until you find the one that is to destroy the wireless connection.

When you have found the culprit just hide it again and it will not be installed.

You can create a system restore point each time you install an update.

Tedious, but you should get where you want to be.
