• Impossible to select multiple items in the list box

  I use Acrobat 9.0 Standard.

  I added a list box in the PDF format and I want to give people the ability to select multiple items in the drop-down list. In properties, on the Options tab, I chose 'multiple choice '. But I am unable to make multiple selections despite this. It still only allows me to make a choice.

  Any ideas? Is there some other step I'm missing?

  I think that's what you want, enter a model in your list of files vi (for example, *.txt) and then just use File.vi text of reading by using the selected item in the list box (double click on event or value change) and use the starting for the vi records list path.  I have included a crude extract for your pleasure.

  I have a report in tabular form with checkboxes which is filled by a SQL query.  For some lines, I want to disable (or not) the box according to the value of one of the columns of that particular line (if the value of a column defined as Date is less than sysdate, I don't want to display the checkbox for that rank).  I tried to use the conditional display in the section of the column attribute of the checkbox, but I can't access this Date column that is currently selected in a view in the SQL source.  I used variables such as: name-of_column, V(':name-of_column'), but always get a NULL value for this column in the SQL code I'm trying code in conditional display section.  For this reason, my condition does not work correctly.

  What I am doing wrong?  Exceeds my correct approach?

  I don't think you can handle this with a conditional display, as that works on the column rather than level level line.

  The way I see it, there are two things you can do:

  (1) approach to sql, where youo make the checkbox in your query using apex_item.checkbox, see the documentation of oracle for detailed information on the use of the APEX_ITEM

  You'll end up with a query like

  Select case when YOUR_DATE_COLUMN<>

  then null

  else apex_item.checkbox2 (p_idx-online 1

  p_value-online YOUR_DATE_COLUMN

  )

  ,

  from YOUR_TABLE

  (2) an approach JavaScript in which you create a dynamic action check your date column in a table and when the need hides and disables the check box for that rank.

  First option is more robust, but it will take a little more work. Second option is faster to develop, but may have different effects on various browsers and browser versions.

  I have a dynamic Action and I using the Action - confirm to display the confirmation message. I'm trying to refer point Page P1_EMP_NO say in the Confirmation box as shown below.

  Text - * & P1_EMP_NO.* "test123".
  
  When I have to run so that a dynamic action, confirmation shows only 'test123', the value for P1_EMP_NO is not displayed.
  
  My question is that we can refer such values as described above OR is there any other way to do it.

  You can see no elements in the confirm dialog box.
  You will need to write your own javascript and refer to elements such as dialog box

• Removal of the Formats in the dialog box "save under".

  I'll start by saying this is not much more than a minor annoyance, but is it possible to remove or hide formats in the dialog box "save under"?

  In my case I really only use .png, .jpg and .psd. When you browse through the recording process several elements it slows me down to have to scroll through a list of things like the .pxr and .sct which I assume that the vast majority of users never use.

  In the same sense, if I saved the last 20 things like .png, it would be nice if Photoshop fails in .png. Some word processing program takes assumptions like this a bit too far, but I'm all about smart features that save me time on the menial things.

  Keep in mind that you can type the first letter of the type of file once you have activated the selector, which can help you gain access to a particular format.  But yes, I agree it's a bit of a pain to work through the large list that is there.

  This is in AS2 and should really be quite simple.

  I have a box control populated list that may or may not have a selected item.  When the user enters data in one of the data fields on the screen and then moves to another domain, database access is performed which returns data that are used to fill in the other fields on the screen.

  In this context the item in the list box is selected, based on a code returned by the database.  All so well and good.

  However, I can't get the list box if there "showcase" at the position of the selected item.  That is to say, I want the selected item to the first item displayed in the list box.  (Note: NOT the first item in the ListBox...)

  What is the property or method I should use to do this?

  Here's a thing. I need to eradicate the combo box arrow. We produce a feedback form with multiple options for your comments, once the guardian chose the relevant feedback they want the arrow to not be visible to the student. Essentially so that the viewer of the end of the PDF can not say there is a combo box with the arrow, see arrow. Looking around I found that you can not hide the arrow to the right of the combo box.

  A possible solution is to design a black bar in the form that may hide the black arrows (unless they become white). However, I prefer the code solutions more own which are not dependent on a static Visual design. I wonder is there away to hide the drop-down list together box and passing of the list item selected in a text field?

  FYI a list box is not suitable that the color blue/gray selection is then visible.

  When you create a read-only combo box, the arrow is not displayed. This is probably what you want to do anyway before distributing the documents to the end user. You can automate the process of creating fields read-only. Here's a script how it for a single field:

  An option even better perhaps to flatten pages, which converts the apparitions of field content page regularly. The arrow does not appear for the drop-down list boxes, and it no longer fields of interactive form for the end user to mess with. You can use the following JavaScript code to do this:
