hide the page options on a dashboard in 11G

Hello

In version 10G, we used a script to hide the menu of controls in page on some dashboards. In 11G the same script does not work for the options on the page. Can anyone help answer how I can do this or even better just how to hide the button ' clear my customizations ' in the menu options page. Oracle does not provide a privilege to do this.

Thank you!

Hello

If you look at the structure of the OBIEE page you easily identify the piece of the code display the my personalization 'clear '.

You're lucky: Oracle gave him his own ID (at least on 11.1.1.7.140527) and no need for JS to hide, a simple CSS will be sufficient:

  • "ok, cancel, help to" buttons missing on the page options. A change to v38.01?

Hello and thank you I only have a button at the bottom of the page options, in categories like security or advanced etc. Once the three, ok, cancel and help. Now just one with a '? ' in this regard. Is it a simple change in v.38? Just hoping I don't have some malware change things around! Summer is here! Thanks again.

Hi, don't worry! Options to open in a tab, and the changes are saved automatically. You can close it by clicking on the 'x' close tab that you would have another tab.

If you really don't like it, you can return to the old window Options by: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.preferences.inContent and double-click on it to change the "value" from true to False, taking care to not to change what anyone else. You will then need to restart Firefox.

  • Hide the page looping script

    Hello

    I use jdeveloper 11.1.1.7.0.

I have an ADF Application with ADF, security (auth-method FORM).

In my login page (Login.jspx) users are fully authenticated and redirected to another secure page. Everything works beautifully.

But on Login.jspx users, right-click on the page and select the option "View source" that says:

-Chrome on 45.0.2454.101: page of script for looping

-Mozilla FireFox 37.0.1: page of script for looping

-Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421: 'Real' of the page source code

What I want to know is how to prevent users from viewing the page looping script.

I don't like to show the source code 'real' of the page (like IE for this).

I do not want to hide the actual code of the page, but I need to hide the script loopback page because I think that it contains information about my request that users know not.

Is it possible to take measures to avoid the page of script loopback?

  • Loading the Page options whenever I run the FF application

Hey, working of FF 42.0b1 on 64-bit Windows 10.

Whenever I charge to the top of the tab options opens as well as the Firefox home page.

I changed some settings of the option, I don't see no option 'Save settings', so don't know why this is happening.
I uninstalled FF, erased all remnants of the existing, re-installed settings and the same thing happens.

    Advice appreciated...

Could check you your home page address to ensure that it is not listed there? It would be after a vertical separator, for example:

    https://www.mozilla.org/|about:preferences

I think you're familiar with exactly where is true, but just in case: start-up, homepage, tabs and download settings.

Was he there? (Fingers crossed, because the alternatives seem very little likely.)

  • to hide the calc option "DEFAULT" in the calculation dialog box

    Hello

Anyway is to hide the default calc of the calculation scripts dialog box.  It is visible to users as well, @ and they trigger the calculation.

    calc_window.jpg

    Thank you

    JP

    Hi JP,

You cannot remove this option but to avoid the accidental use of the same, you can change the content of the defult calculation script. To do this:

    1. open the Regional service console and go to the database to which you want to change the default script.

    2. right click on the database and go to the value-> default calculation.

    3. replace Calc All; to;

Now even if someone run this script, nothing will happen...

    I hope this helps...

  • Hide the page in the URL?

Can you hide the display of the URL page? Like just WWW.MyWebsite.ca/pages/images/summer2014.php... WWW.MyWebsite.ca

The Ben method translated you this URL:

    Website.com/page.php?type=contact&area=NY

    . . .to. . .

    Website.com/contact/NY

As you can see in the example above, the settings are still there (contact and New York), but they are presented in a more pleasant way. So it is not just pointing to the root.

Understand that the htaccess code simply translated the url back, and if the directions of translation are not configured perfectly, it can lead to errors in page

So yes, play with the method that Ben referred you.

I would START by checking if your IE8 has all its flaws. Any time we're not able to open links in emails, the Internet Explorer problem, the majority of the time.

Start button > Default programs > Set Your Default programs > left side, select Internet Explorer...
He said "this program has all its defaults"?
If not, click on choose by default for this program > tick on each entry in the list > save

See if that solves all the problems you have.

P.S. Check with your shipper, see if your sender uses Microsoft Outlook. If so, ask your sender to go to the Format of the mail and select HTML.

  • Restorer of classic theme with tabs not on the top of the page option hides the tabs. How can I fix it?

Hi, I've just updated to Firefox 32.02 and trying to regain my old interface with the add-on of the Restorer of classic theme. The option "tabs not on" (two versions) unfortunately does not work. What I get is a white bar with the top of page 4 pixels of the tabs. I tried the options to 'Customize', but could not solve the problem. How does one resolve this issue?

  • How can I remove the page options for my home pages when I use several home pages?

I used several pages to my homepage with FireFox for a long time. I've recently updated my homepage as always - "use current pages" - now the firefox open the options page and which ones I want. It is not listed in the list of pages to open as home pages, but it nevertheless opens. I can't get rid of it because I have to open the options page to set the home pages.

When you used the "use current pages" he adds all the tabs in the window that you were. Just remove the subject: preferences list in the box.

  • Tabs at the top of the page option does not appear in the menu when I control-click on a blank section of the tab strip in Firefox MacBook on 15.

I've just updated my Firefox version 15.0 browser on my MacBook. I'm really used to having the tabs under the address bar. However, when I Ctrl-click on a blank section of the band to tabs, there no option "Tabs" at the top on the shortcut menu.

Any suggestion on how to find this option would be appreciated.

That changed in 15 Firefox and is now a hidden preference; the default is for tabs on top to be on. To disable the tabs on top, you use about: config. The instructions are the last item on the next page. I've also included a link on how to use about: config

  • I don't have a tabs at the top of the page option so, how can I change?

How can I put the tabs on the bottom. I do not get this option when I go in the options.

This element has been removed form the context Menu. You need to change in the Advanced Preferences window.

Type of topic: config in the URL bar and press ENTER.

If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access this page.

Pref = browser.tabs.onTop - right click and switch to False

  • The source of the page option is missing

There is no option of page source on the display of the toolbar Firefox version 8.0.1.4341
How can I add this option.

    page source option is missing

    View ('Alt + V') > Page Source Ctrl + U

or "Firefox" button > Web Developer > Page Source

    See https://support.mozilla.com/questions/847075

You can make Firefox 8.0 look to Firefox 3.6. *, see numbered items 1-10 of the next topic difficulty Firefox 4.0 UI toolbar, problems (make Firefox 4.0 to 8.0, resemble 3.6). If you make changes, you must be aware of what has changed and what it takes to use changed or missing features.

It is much more beyond these first 10 steps in the list, if you want to make Firefox more functional.
