Highlighted on the sequence area

Screen Shot 2014-06-27 at 13.19.27.png

Part of my first sequence Pro CC2014 is highlighted or "grayed out".

It does not affect anything, but it's very distracting! Not sure how I did appear. Anyone know how to get rid of?

Thank you.

I think it's because you have an entry/exit marked. No not dug around in the prefs yet but you might be able to power down.

See you soon

  • Measure highlights in the image

    Hello world.

I was presented with a challenge.

Our team of mechanics built a machine that randomnly erodes the surface of a test tube.

It is an image of a specimen captured at the beginning of a test:

As you can see four white lines are present in the image, the lines are caused by the reflections of the lamps.

And this is a picture of a similar specimen at the end of a test.

We already found a satisfactory means to measure areas of erosion and it seems to be robust for all colors of possible test specimen

Now they decided they wanted the machine to measure the length of the white reflection lines (online), because the erosion to some materials only causes the surface to become tangled.

And not necessarily give obscurity eroded area above.

an example of such a case of use can be seen below:

I tried several approaches without success.
Ideally I would like to isolate the highlighted lines, so that the system could identify almost the same lines as those which is hand painted below

    Tried methods:

    1)
IMAQ find Edge, to get the endless lines that best described the lines of reflection highlighted.
Then using an binning method, the line is segmented, in the place where there is enough light in the picture.
This method is, however, very sensitive to the horizontal change in lighting and usually either find endpoints, or frosted and middle section correctly.

    2)
    Tuning IMAQ detect lines
    It gives me:

Which is exactly what I want, as I hoped that the lines on the left of the eroded area would also include, and lines lie above and below the highlights would have been excluded, but getting close.

    3)
High pass filter of the image to improve the edges and remove the effects of the quality of variable light.
The built-in methods had tend to reinforce the edge of erosion more or equal to the highlights, so I tried to build my own kernel to improve only the horizontal characteristics, but even with a core of 5 x 5 was the best result I got:

Who has not exactly me left to separate the highlights of the eroded area.

    4)
Finally, I tried a cross-correlation with an image of a horizontal line with a small width.

Yet once I improved more than eroded area the line feature I was interested.

If you have an idea, that I can use to either improve the highlighted lines, so that the length can be measured I would really appreciate it.
I tried to adjust gamma, contrast and brightness to make the 'white' lines stand out, but due to the change in light, this also gives the bright Center of the image until the lines are increased in the extremities.

    Thank you

    / ZcuBa

You can very easily find everything at the top and the bottom line using advanced search of edge. It extracts the values of the pixels form the profile of the line and you should be able to detect all non-uniform pixel values.

There is a screenshot of the result.

    Good luck

  • How can I change the resolution of the sequence?

    Let me explain my situation:

I created a sequence accidentally to 480 p and then edited my full video in this sequence. All of the clips used in the sequence were 1080 p, but when I try to change the resolution of the sequence, you can say that it does nothing. I also tried to create a new sequence and copy and paste all my stuff in it from the original sequence. It doesn't change anything. The sequence says that it's in 1080 p, and the videos say they are 1080 p, but they are clearly not. There are two giant black bars at the top and bottom of the screen preview and export, there are four giant black bars - one on each side of the video. It's like the videos and the sequence are correct, but there are some that deferred setting that enlarges the clip down to the old sequence or something... Please help!

I think that the problem is that your sequence settings are 1920 x 1080 @ Pixel Aspect Ratio of 0.9091. For video 1920 x 1080, IRON is typically square (1.0)

  • gaps in the sequences being cached

Would like to know if the sequences are defined the cache is it possible to see gaps in the sequence if a process such as rman or a long period of time accures.

I'm trying to identify why we have gaps. I read a little, if the system boils then the sequence in the cache would be lost and Oracle would get the next set of numbers.

Oracle sequences will always be gaps for various reasons, a restoration is one, caching and data base closures are others. Caching of the sequences produced better performance.

The answer is to not care that there are gaps in sequence.

A sequence is a unique identifier and not a counter, store a number of rows in a table is non-relational and not to carry out or scaling. If the lines are to be counted, they should be counted when they are selected.

If you are concerned about the number of losing because you can escape, I worry for some time or the other.

Re: What kind of operation on the inside?

  • Generation of the sequence.

I noticed that the sequence is generated on all cases when we use it in a select statement.

For example I have a DECODE in the select statement and I use two sequences one if the statement is TRUE and the other when his SCYTHE. But the sequence are generated on both the two. I know this behavior but I just want to know why it happens like that.

    Here is a small example.

A sequence is prety different, it is not a function.
For a given sequence, Oracle only launch a sequence to each row value.

on my desktop, the icon, (text under the icon) are highlighted, is anyway to have just the text under the icon? Thank you

This is probably caused by your background color of your screen.  You can confirm this by:

If you have a Web page on your screen, then you will need set the color manually by:

    (1) right click on your desktop and select "Properties".
    (2) this should bring up your "Display properties" dialog box  (You can also get it by going to your control panel and double-clicking on 'Display'.)
    3) click on the tab "Office".
    (4) on the bottom right of the dialog box, there is a 'Color' option and below which shows the colors of the office - this must match what you see on the screen.
    (5) simply change the color to whatever color you want and then click on the 'OK' button to close the "display properties".

If you do not have any web content on your desktop, you can set the transparent icon labels by:

    (1) right-click on 'My Computer' then click 'properties '.
    2) click on the "Advanced" tab
    (3) in the 'Performance' section, click on the button "settings".
    (4) make sure that "shadows fall to use the desktop icon labels" is checked
    5) click on the 'OK' button to get out of the "Performance Options".
"6) click on the 'OK' button to get out of" System Properties "
    (7) right click on desktop
    (8) mouse on "arrange icons by".
    (9) be sure that "Lock Web items on desktop" is unchecked.  (If it is, just click once.)

  • When I drag files in WMP the sequence of songs is not because it is in the list of files. the first certain tracks are at the bottom of the playlist

When I drag music files in WMP and in the field of reading list, the sequence of songs is not as it should be determined in accordance with the list of files in Explorer windows, the first or the first few tracks are at the bottom of the playlis.
For example when I drag the track 1 to 10 in WMP playlist could end up with the 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,1,2,3 sequence. It ranges from which follow playlist starts with, but the first track (s) (rare) is at the bottom every time.

    PS. Shuffle is not lit.

Is not necessarily any indication of a fault as WMP does this, even when it is running correctly [he apparently gets files loaded in the order that they appear in the allocation table disk files].

    You can

1 after dragging in the playlist, drag files to the top or to the bottom of the playlist in the desired order before you save the playlist.

2 Allocate Index properties for each track before slipping as WMP then normally behave correctly when you drag them.

3 you can also drag the in WMP individually to achieve the same end result.

  • Finding and fixing of the sequences that are out of sync

Oracle Database 11 g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64 bit Production version

    Hello

Recently, our development database has been updated with production data, but have not been copied from the sequence.

Then of course the sequence numbers are very badly synchronized with the primary key for tables throwing errors in primary key.

How can I find the sequence names, names of tables, columns in primary key, and max values for the primary key columns that have values of key primary school max who are higher than the nextval of their corresponding sequences?

So far the nextval of sequence numbers were all less than the max value for the primary key for the corresponding tables.

    We used the method:

    SELECT max (primary key column)

    TABLE;

    SELECT sequence_name.nextval FROM dual;

    Sequence_name ALTER SEQUENCE increment primary key value - current value of sequence max + 1;

    SELECT sequence_name.nextval FROM dual;

    SEQUENCE Sequence_name CHANGE INCREMENT OF 1;

But this is done when a record is inserted into a table and the error is thrown.

So I hope there is a much better way to remedy.

    Please leave me a question.

    Thank you

    Joe

I don't know if this will help you or not, but here is what I used for the synchronization to the top of my sequences during the last upgrade/server database migration, I was involved with. You must be logged under the scheme that sequences need synchronization, linking of data back to the database, you are basing the sequences on and then let go and recreate sequences. It essentially creates a couple of other scripts and then executes them.

All 4 titles are coming as complete blends not divisions. I guess that's a problem with the entrenchment of the channels, but can't see how to fix. Andy

Is what would you say to my quick thought without following through all the processes after the fact, the sequence settings? My thought is that the sequence settings must be multichannel as you show, but each Adaptive track, so this channel map is routed at your leisure. If this is not the case, already, it would create a new sequence with these settings.
