Burn to disc

When I burn a certain number of tracks, then select AUDIO CD the disc doesn't play in any player cd and when open in windows media player the disc shows no content.

I have a laptop Tecra A8 with Mat * un DVD - Ram UJ - 841 s. This device is not read / burn any disc. However, Mat * one bed the recovery CD at startup.

I tried everything: I deleted the registry entries (lower and upper), I uninstalled Ant again once the driver installed... but it doesn't work. Any help?

Combo DVD - RW drive won't burn a disc

All of a sudden yesterday after burning DVDs my DVD - RW combo drive won't burn a disc. I tried to run the Microsoft patch for CD DVD stuff and he said:

the selected disk is not able to write, if you have multiple CD DVD players try to use another drive, otherwise you may need to install a CD DVD burner to burn with Nero, it says: this device needs a DVD R/W... and the fix format disc, it says the drive is not capable at all. Also, when I go to the drive in my computer, it shows the drive as a CD drive. I replaced the Combo drive with a new one and still have the same issues. Help!

Not able to burn blank discs in Windows Media Player 11

Original title: NEED TO re - INSTALL WMP11 PROGRAMMER

MY WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11 IN WINDOWS XP VERSION 5.1 SP3 DOES NOT BURN THE SONGS ON A CD AUDIO VIRGIN. WHEN I CLICK "START BURN" AFTER A VIRGIN DISK IS IN THE DRAWER 'E', THE 'MEDIA INSERT BOX' THEN "DRAG TO DISC BOX" POSTER AND THE PROGRAM NEVER "AUTOMATICALLY STARTS TO BURN THE DISK OF VIRGIN.

THE SOFTWARE HAS BEEN INSTALLED ORIGINALLY AS AN "OEM" IN MY DELL COMPUTER. I LEARNED THAT MY WMP11 IS PROBABLY DAMAGED AND MUST BE REPLACED.

(1) DO I DELETE THE "WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11" AND THE "WINDOWS MEDIA FORMAT 11 RUNTIME" PROGRAM BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW WMP11 BY DOWNLOADING FROM THE MICROSOFT SITE?

I can't eject the disc somehow, the program is obviously still running. My only and last resort, is to "shut down" for 8 seconds. When I restart, go to Explorer and touching "eject" in the DVD player, the disc ejects immediately, but is of course totally empty! I tried each "fix" I do not see in forums etc. nothing works. I ran Microsoft 'Fixit' again without success. Help please!

Just a thought... There is a possibility that the burner has a bad laser...
Maybe it's time for a new drive.

I am trying to burn a DVD using Movie Maker, but every time I burn it to disc, what happens at 60%, then all I get is "unspecified error cannot burn the disc?

I created a movie after the import of videos and images, first after their conversion to Quicktime version to a version that would play in Windows. I made the movie and it plays well in Movie Maker and starts ok when I burn to disc, but happens about 60% each time and then just says it cannot create disc because of an unspecified error. So, I don't know what I have to do? Any help? Thank you.

It may be interesting to try to publish (save) the project of a
folder on your drive hard in the. Film WMV format.

If it works... then import it. File WMV in DVD Maker.

Can not display the files in the folder of the CD - R disc after their burned to disc

I'm burning a few recordings made House mp3 on a CD - R disc. They seem to copy and burn on the disc OK, but if I take the CD in the drive and replace it back in the drive, I go in the folder of CD player and no files are displayed, but the properties show that disk space has been used. How can I burn so that I can see and copy the files that I have archived? What (if any) I'm doing wrong?

Burn a disc by using the live file system format

1.	Insert a writable CD or DVD CD writer or DVD in your computer.
2.	In the dialog box that appears, click burn files to data disc.
3.	In the dialog box burn a disc , type a name for this disc, and then click Next. It can take several minutes for the drive to be formatted in the active file system format by default. When formatting is complete, an empty disc folder opens.
4.	Open the folder that contains the files to burn and then drag the files into the empty disc folder.

You can copy files to the disc folder by dragging them to the disc or to a folder to open disk icon

When you drag files to the disc folder, they are automatically copied to the disk.

1.	Insert a writable CD or DVD CD writer or DVD in your computer.

5.	Open the folder that contains the files to burn and then drag the files into the empty disc folder.
6.	In the toolbar, click burn to disc. The selected files are copied to the disk. When burning is complete, the drive tray opens and you can remove the drive. You can now use the disc in another computer or media. This type of disc has no need to be closed.

To burn a disc to ISO image, you will need free space on your hard disk equal to the capacity of the disk. For a typical CD, it is approximately 650 megabytes (MB).
If you select the files to burn but decide not to copy the files on disk, you can delete the temporary files to recover hard disk space. To remove the files, open the disc folder, select the files, and then, in the toolbar, click delete temporary files.
