  I'm glad that you were able to understand. Thanks for sharing your solution. In Windows Vista and Windows 7, even if your user account is an administrator (and this is not optimal, see why below), you still need to raise the true administrator to make global changes. In your case, that would by running high cmd ("run as Administrator").

  User - recommended configuration (Vista and Win7) accounts

  You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista and Windows 7 are OS multi-user with system built-in accounts such as administrator, by default, all users and guest. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

  In particular, you do not want account only one user with administrator privileges on Vista and Windows 7 because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult. It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but it will take third-party tools and work outside the operating system.

  The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

  If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

  Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
  Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

  Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null). MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

• Internet Explorer has disappeared from the Menu start - help to restore the arrow to the right for the recent actions etc.

  After a recent update, I seemed to lose my IE icon anywhere on the computer - I couldn't find iexplore.exe when you're looking for all of the C: drive, and the icon has disappeared from the start menu.

  I managed to install a Microsoft IE links and the software works very well.  However, when pinning the IE icon to the start menu, I just got a regular icon - I don't have the right arrow to go directly to a recent site / or InPrivate browsing etc.

  Does anyone know how to restore this feature?

  Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to map the right alt key to a video game.

  I play the League of Legends among other games which, as a left-handed player - forces me to use my right hand on the keyboard. This is why I need to use the right Alt key, among others, as the right, the right-shift control, etc.. However, as I load my game and trying to change my settings to control, mapping of these buttons is impossible. I also tried to use Sharpkeys to make that the right Alt key behave like the left, but it doesn't let me do.

  I'm trying to do something that should be simple enough for a programmer, but unfortunately, unfortunately to be a designer, I'm having a devil of a time with it.  After spending hours searching and trying different things, I thought to post the problem.  I have the feeling that I'm not the first creator of evil with it.

  I'm trying to extract a window input data and to transmit it to a variable.  In the script, I do a few purge(), and I don't know if that clears the values of input from the user during the script, but it's thinking ahead...

  Just copy adapter that reads the user profile data and the copy to treat the form field.
  Not for Oracle:

  (1) assume a created a UDF: UDF USR_UDF_BUS_PHONE phone number called 'Phone number' form field users user defined in the Console Design

  (2) then double-click "Définition Lookup" under the tree of the Administration Console Design and query that this code "Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS".

  (3) add "Information of Code Lookup" like that.

  (i) enter the UDF column, created in step 1 for Code key as USR_UDF_BUS_PHONE
  (II) enter the word "Change" without the quotes, followed by the name of the field in the column UDF created in the column of Decode. So in this case decoding is "Change phone number" without the quotes

  Result: Now when business phone is updated, business phone user change will trigger in and inserted to this resource and copy the profile to your process change. If the connector already has the task of process 'Affairs updated phone' in the definition of process that has an adapter to update the target and then due to the update to business phone in the form of process, the 'Business phone day' task will be triggered and target will also be updated with the new change.

  My database 11g 2 on Redhat 5 has sys and system user password expired

• Cannot set the password for user connection in Vista Home Basic

  My laptop (running Vista SP2) has no password on the user account. Guest account is disabled and my user account is administrator.

  I would like to add a password to secure my PC a little more by doing the following:
  AutoScan (Vista Orb) > Control Panel > user accounts > create a password for your account
  I enter a password to 10 characters. I tried more or less characters, a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers etc, but everything I try I get the following message:

  "The password you entered does not meet the password policy requirements. Check the minimum password length, password complexity and password history requirements"

  Any ideas what to do here? I tried searching online and through this forum but have been unable to find someone who had the same problem, and even less it is solved!

  I ran Microsoft Security Essentials software, choose scan "Full". The software found no viruses or malware on my computer, but he did put in quarantine RealVNC (software remote access we use occasionally to work).

  I have created a screenshots of system information (to show which operating system I use), the dialogue 'create password for your account' (to show that I am logged on as administrator and to make sure that I do not have the process wrong--always possible!) and the error message "user account control panel.

  I solved this problem!

  The problem was caused by HP - something that was installed on my laptop security manager because I bought - I never used and had no idea he was running. I discovered this when I decided to upgrade my operating system to Windows 7. I was running a tool to check if the software I had installed is compatible for the upgrade; It turns out that the HP Security Manager is not compatible with W7, and when I uninstalled it I followed a hunch that it might interfere with my account - tried by adding a password and he succeeded!

  I was also able to install Sophos and it works properly now.

  I've always upgraded to Windows 7 in the end, but it was nice to be able to solve this problem (even if it took me Age to understand!) Hope this helps someone else with a similar problem.

  I'm discovering in the database tables, know when a user has been added as a group in Shared Services. This is for purposes of SOX. Can you let me know which database table, we need to check that we can get a timestamp date for added user?

  Hey Steffi,

  I don't know any tables db HSS that contain this timestamp.  The CSS_GROUP_MEMBERS table lists groups/members, but no other information.  There are the timestamps for the CSS_USERS and CSS_GROUPS tables, but they show only when Aboriginal users/groups have been created and updated.

  The best way to record this information for your next audit would be to enable auditing of Shared Services.  To do this:

  • HSS > Administration > configure audit
  • Enable audit value
  • Select the items that you want to audit (Directory Management has elements such as 'Assign the user as a member of the group' and 'Remove user as a member of the group'
  • Restart the Services

  what you see is not a bug, your sysdba connection is authenticated by the operating system
  because your OS user is in the correct dba group, please see the MOS reference:

  I used the default settings which, among other things, do not allow users to update the applications. The Admin can do it alone.

• Highlight the character for numbered list style

  Hi, I have a paragraph Style that uses nested Style to apply a character Style that highlight my text. This text is procedures steps (step 1, step 2, etc...) so I tried to use the Automatic numbered-list feature. InDesign applies my character Style, but not the part of underscore. Why?

  This emphasis is pt 13 blue and my text is white (to create a blue box with white text in it) so I don't see anything because, well, my text is white! If I chose another Style of character, it works well, but all those who have pointed out does not underscore.
