• Cannot find HIS Color Finesse 3 serial key

  In Adobe CC, there is a plugin called HIS Color Finesse 3 delivered AE. I had problems to open the plugin, so I decided to delete all the related files and to download the installer from the site of synthesis. I'm running the installation program now and cannot find my serial number for the plugin. I have been troubleshooting the web and found a lot of discussions related to this problem, but does not understand where this serial key again.   I remember in earlier versions of AE, after installation is complete I never needed to use this plugin, a serial number. Since I am reinstalling this plugin, I wonder if I really need the serial key (to access the full version) and I need, where to find?

  It was not a sticker with the serial number printed for Color Finesse since CS5.5. The serialization is done 'automatically' the first time you apply Color Finesse to a layer.

  This first time you will be asked a name/organization and you need to enter something here and click OK to create the serialization occurs. If you click Cancel instead you end up in trial with the pink lines mode. Which is OK, like all what you need to do in this case is to restart AE and apply Color Finesse to a layer to get prompted for name/org.

  Once you have done that you are running with Color Finesse, no lines of pink demo. At this point, you can click the Color Finesse on and see your serial number in the upper right of the About dialog box. You want the serial number if you want to update or use an installer from our website.

  Now in your case, if you have already uninstalled Color Finesse and run a Setup program that is downloaded without ever having raced through the 'automagic' serialization process, you end up with no serial number and no plugin who knows how to serialize itself. The best way to the situation is in the United Nations-installl Color Finesse manually, then un-install/reinstall AE. You can then apply it to a layer, enter your name/org and you will be running.

  And just to be clear, Color Finesse 3 provided with AE is a fully functional/all the plugin features. The only restriction is that it works only in After Effects. If you also want to use Color Finesse in Premiere Pro, you will have to pay to upgrade to the version "PI".

  I use after effects in CC 2014 and I thought that the smoothness of color provided with the download for free but the mode of trial is everything I see and when I download the installer it wants a serial number that I don't have. Any suggestions to fix this?

  You have no need to download an installer. Color Finesse is installed automatically by the installation program Adobe AE. It is automatically serialized (CS5.5 and later, including CC 2014) the first time you apply Color Finesse to a layer.

  At this point, the best approach is to uninstall and reinstall After Effects. Then, open a project, apply Color Finesse to a layer, enter your name and you will be running.

• CS6/Color Finesse 3 serial number?

  I recently bought Creative Cloud CS6. In previous versions of the Creative Suite boxes, there's a separated with Color Finesse serial number sticker. Where can I find with Creative Cloud CS6? I called Adobe, but the customer service representative could not understand what I was asking and insisted on the fact that I had to contact synthesis. Any help would be appreciated!

  Are you sure that's not just a question register with a name and society?  I hadn't used before Color Finesse on the machine I'm working on now, but I didn't save the plug-in from Adobe.  According to me, he simply acknowledges your serial number creative cloud, and after that, it should work fine.

• Serial number CS5 Color Finesse attention

  Adobe has provided me with the wrong serial number for Color Finesse 3 in CS5.

  I started a case with Technical Support, but after exchanges of emails this weekend, then an hour and a half phone conversation with 2 representatives today, they were unable to help me. In fact, neither representative knew what Color Finesse.

  I contacted synthesis through their website of the forum and they said that I had received a serial number of the PC that does not work on a Mac.

  Today at noon, technology Adobe said they would call back within 2 hours with a solution, its now been 5 hours and no appeal. I'm not impressed.

  In case someone else has this problem the PC serial numbers start with CFLEP and Mac those SLTC. I tried to change the prefix of the letter and it seemed to work, however while he has done through the registration synthesis process, I now have the pink grid feared on the layers that have applied CF, indicating he is not registered... Synthesis says that I have to reinstall After Effects yet. Oh joy ;/

  

  You must also remove the Color Finesse prefs.

  This is the "Finesse 3 UI Preferences.plist ~/Library/Preferences/Color" file. Just drag to the trash, restart AE and apply Color Finesse to a layer and you will be prompted for the serial number.

  I just tested the whole process here with the CS5 DVD and it works fine. Sorry for forgetting this step.

• After Effects CS6 Crash - Film MXF + Keylight and Color Finesse

  Greetings community AEX,

  I'm pretty used to AEX crashing no aparent reason, but the frequency of the last series is a bit disturbing, and two of the stronger plugins (color of SA Finesse/Keylight) keep crashing when used. I am at a loss to know where to continue troubleshooting.

  
  Question:

  (1) I create a project in Adobe Premiere, and thanks to the Dynamic Link I replace a section of my sequence, by AEX composition.

  1 a) images that we use is MXF - 50mbit 4:2:2 acquired from a Canon XF300.

  (2) I use Color Finesse to adjust the image, the primary and the secondary color correction applied (we're doing chroma key work, and I find secondary helps give me a cleaner key when I can even the Greens)

  (3) I then apply the Keylight 1.2 filter, make the necessary adjustments and try to get an overview of my work in moving the playhead, or launch a RAM Preview.

  
  At this point, After Effects with either crash outright (if I touch the head or try a RAM Preview), or he will wait a few seconds and THEN crash.  HOWEVER, if instead of trying to move the playhead I just save my project and go back to the creation, the composition of the AEX plays very well in my sequence.  He did adjust my extremely difficult settings when I can't use the playhead to watch different images within the AEX.

  
  This question is highly reproducible, to the point where AEX will sometimes crash when trying to load the project file.  This is clearly struggling with the previews.

  Steps taken to solve (without success)

  -Restart the PC, delete the temporary files, check disk space, updates

  -J' tried to reset all default settings (CTRL + ALT + SHIFT), tried to clear all the cache/db, changed the location of the cache/db

  -Tried opening and creating a project outside dynamic links

  -System restart/graphics driver check

  -Curse to the computer

  -Turn off made in settings of the AEX, GPU switching CPU

  System Specs:

  -Recently reloaded my system clean installed Windows/Adobe, conducted all software/OS updates and generally little to the config which could cause a problem.

  -Intel Corei7 960 12 GB of ram

  -nVidia Quadro 4000

  -Intel 256 GB SSD + WD Black 2 TB.

  -Cache and previews are stored on the SSD,

  
  I am at a loss to know where to start or go here for troubleshooting more far.  The forums are so clogged with others experincing blocks in AEX (perhaps because only Adobe rushes their development cycles and explosions early software...), it is difficult to find something similar to what I am experincing.  Reloading of programs is an option, but uninstall, download and reinstallation is a pain, and I want this to be a last resort.

  Before you uninstall and reinstall once more, try this test first: transcode some of his problem for a codec lossless bindings.  I recommend the PNG Quicktime codec.  Then apply effects to them again in AE to see what is happening.

  The reason for this: your MPEG2 camera recordings.  It is not a true intermediate codec and compression is a group of images, rather than a single image.  The combination of Keylight and Color Finesse can be give AE fits.

  For this anthropomorphize, AE like to think image by image, but MPEG2 forces AE to think backwards and forwards over several frames, and it can be to revolt on you.  I hope you enjoy the technical jargon.

  I recently bought master collection 5 DVD version. CD/DVD box I have three serial numbers: Master collection, organization/AE CS4 32 Bit and Color Finesse. I used the Master collection serial to activate my product. I have a 64 bit os, so I did not use body/AE CS4 32 Bit serial.  My question is about Color Finesse Serial. I searched this topic and considered as a plug-in for Premiere Pro or after affect. Now, where can I download Color Finesse and how I can install their Premier Pro or after affect?

  This series is only required for the CS4 version. The CS5 version does not require an additional set. Both versions are installed automatically with the main programs. Nothing more to do.

  I just bought Adobe Production Premium CS5.5.  On the case containing the installation DVD, there is a serial number for Color Finesse.  After you install the full package, I see no Color Finesse as a program or a plugin in first or After Effects.  The fineness of the color had to be installed with everything else?

  I tried to download the program on the website of Color Finesse, but the serial number I have does not work with it.

• Panel of reference color Finesse

  Hi, I am currently working with Color Finesse and want to use the Panel refers to try to match film shot with two different cameras.  I've lived the manual to see how to load an image in the Gallery, but I think I'm missing something.

  I can't find an option to load all the images in the Gallery; If you take a look at the attached screenshot it seems to miss all of the buttons included in the manual (although the manual looks like its been taken on a MAC).

  

  Is this a limitation with the Group AE plugin or am I missing something else?

  I think you are looking for the Gallery tab. It has buttons at the bottom of loading/selection of reference images.

  Once an image is loaded into the Gallery, you can select it as the reference image by double-clicking the item in the list of contents of Gallery.

  You don't say what version of Color Finesse you use. There were a few problems with reference images in earlier versions, so you can upgrade to the latest version of Color Finesse, which is 3.0.4. The installer for the latest version is available on our website and can be installed using your current Color Finesse serial number.

  In the November issue of sound on his Magazine Mark Butler has done a review of CS5 Production Premium and following States:

  "The version shipped with After Effects is Color Finesse 3, and it can also be used directly in Premiere Pro if you want."

  How can I do this? I can't find the CF in the effects bin or whatever it is and its not this ideal to use Dynamic Link if you want to return back and edit your cuts...

• Installation of Color Finesse for CS5 is a mystery

  I just install CS5 Master Collection, and I have a serial number of remains of for Color Finesse.  After having posted to Adobe support, responsible for searching the contents of my "Content" drive and issues about all the rest, I do not yet see how to install the plugin Color Finesse in After Effects.  Does anyone do this?  Where the installation of the software?  I looked on each of my CDs (all 4 of them). At least, I think that Adobe should provide written instructions or a Read Me with this information, but I have yet to find it.

  Color Finesse is installed automatically by the installer for CS5, so you have all ready to use.

  Within EI, select a layer, and go to the menu effects. You will find only a menu item for Synthetic Aperture and that is 'SA Color Finesse 3 '. To apply it to the selected layer, choose just as you would for any other effect.

  The first time you apply you will be asked for this 'extra' serial number you have. Don't forget to use the serial number labeled as "Color Finesse CS5" because it is the one for Color Finesse 3.

  Once you have applied Color Finesse to a layer, you can twirl open the simplified Interface to display the controls, or click on the button "Complete Interface" to display the full user interface. In this complete user interface, a link to the Color Finesse User Guide in the Help menu.

  Hope this gets you operational.

  Former owner is not the time to remove the device from his account. I have his name, number, address, serial number and imei of iphone.  I always had of BONE cell phones, but my daughter IOS. I made sure that the IMEI was clean and it was not on the black list before adding it to my Verizon account. Now, I learned about icloud.  Verizon has brought his number to the iphone and now she has no phone to use. I called apple, but I was told that they could not help me, but they might help the original owner.  They original owner is older and perhaps confused after I tried to explain what I've learned.  What can I do when the original owner is/was/still confused about how the system works?  I'm always lost in this world of apple.

• How to change the location of the Fast Cache Preview in Color Finesse 3?

  I'm on OS X El Capitan (version 10.11), under the new version of After Effects with Color Finesse 3.0.14. The speed of preview in full Color Finesse interface is very slow, so I tried to go in Caches under preferences and by changing the location of the fast preview Cache, but I can't get Color Finesse to use another location. Even if I click Select, and then choose a new folder and press on choose, the location for the Cache remains unchanged (/ users/Mayka/Library/Caches/TemporaryItems). I wanted to put the location of the cache in a folder on my external SSD, but I can't seem to do. Is this a bug or I do something wrong? I tried to restart AE, but it has no effect.

  OK, I understand now. Change the location of the cache probably won't speed up the quick preview render phase, but could help in the reading stage, it should certainly be selectable (i.e., we need to fix this bug).

  As the phase of rendering speed, Color Finesse must ask executives out of After Effects, so it will never faster than AE. There will also be an additional burden, because the frame is transferred from EI, which will slow down things a bit.

  That said, we had a few reports that the 3.0.14 updated to Color Finesse slowed the speed of rendering a little (compared to most early versions of Color Finesse). This is probably due to a difficulty we have made to take account of the more aggressive power management in OS X 10.10 and later versions and Win 8.1 and later. We are currently looking into how we can adjust performance and still not run against the latest operating systems. I don't have a deadline for this that we're still investigating. But it's on our radar!

• After effects CC 2015 color finesse presets not available?

  I am partially through a project on sequelae and upgraded to 2015 cc. In project I had used some of the available synthesis, color finesse "presets". When I go to the complete interface on the fineness of the color, it seems to work fully. However the film presets are no longer accessible. I can find the presets in the applications folder: -.

  / Applications/Adobe After Effects /(CF3 Support) CC 2015/Plug-ins/effects/Synthetic Aperture

  However the color finesse Plug does not seem to be able to find them.

• In After Effects when I use the Color Finesse 3, a grid appears in the display. How to disable that?

  When I click the button, and then synthesis, then ITS Color Finesse 3 creative cloud, a grid appears on the video in the display window, and I don't know a how to take that off?

  Color THE 3 Finesse provided with After Effects and is automatically installed during the After Effects is installed. The only reason to upgrade to the paid version if you want to use Color Finesse in Premiere Pro, as well as in After Effects.

  Because this is a college computer, you have the option to install/uninstall software? Many universities to lock down computers in order to limit this access. You will need full access including an admin password, to use the following steps. If you are not allowed access, you can pass the following to whoever does the computer management.

  To remove the trial version, delete the entire folder "Synthetic aperture" found in:

  / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore

  (Note that it is the library folder at the base of your boot drive, not that of your home folder).

  Then, re-enable the embedded Color Finesse version by going to the following folder:

  / Applications/Adobe/Adobe After Effects CC/Support Files/Plug-ins/effects/Synthetic Aperture

  Now, in this "Synthetic aperture" folder, you will find a plug-in with parentheses around the name:

  (Color Finesse 3 AE64)

  Remove the parentheses by the name of file for AE go to him. Not NOT remove parentheses from the folder "(Support CF3)" or AE will launch very, very slowly, and Color Finesse is not working properly. "
