His stats EPSON WF - 2540 Series Job will not stop printing

Printer EPSON WF-2540 Series - 60B 384 =

OS = Windows 8 Blue 6.3.9600

Driver HP series class driver is;. version 63.1303.3.00

Problem:

In the process of printing a form (PDF) from the internet the printer began to print attributes task rather than the content of the form and it does not block the stats to print again and again.  I removed the device and reinstalled.  I turned the printer and unplugged.  I have reset the default printer.  There are no jobs in the spooler.  If we create a print job with the printer off we get this printed work and then the stats for internet PDF starts printing.

@PJL COMMENT = "" job start time: Sun Oct 05 14:11:02:658 2014 ""

@PJL JOB NAME = "460int".

These work instructions continue for a third of a page, while the rest is filled with a repeated sequence of "0W0V".

Any help is appreciated.  TKS

Thanks for the reply.  With my wifes computer is turned off, I accessed my office printer and the printer performed as intended.  When I turned on the laptop, the problem as described in the report began.  This has isolated the problem to his computer.  I've stopped and started the spooler service and the problem continues.  Finally, I find the spooler files in C:/windows/system32/spool/printers and erased.  My wife has printed several docs now and the problem seems to be resolved.

Thanks again for your attention.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610-e: HP Officejet Pro 8610-e will not stop printing

I am trying to print on paper legal and necessary only 5 copies. After spewing of 17 full copies and 4 partial, I turned it off in the hope that it would stop.  Fortunately, when I turned it back there.  I'm not a computer guru, so a lot of the phraseology of the aid might as well be Greek to me.

I've had my printer for about a week now and have not had this problem because it happened first, but I would like to know how do I cancel a print job, just in case it never happens again.   It is also interesting that this happened when I was printing on legal-size paper.  (Thank God, I don't have to do very often!)

Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer.

When a document is printing (or was sent and is about to print), there will be an indicator at the top of the screen, with an X white within a circle and print.  Touch and it displays a screen with a rex from X in the lower left corner.  Press X to stop printing.

Note that if a print job is always sent from the computer, it can take a long time for the printer to be ready for the next job.  The printer stops printing immediately when you press the red X, but the computer can continue to send the rest of the job that will be discarded by the printer.

  • OfficeJet pro 8500 a: 8500 has will not stop printing

immediately after setting up and installation of my 8500 it began printing a page with only the fraction 1/4 and a smiling face in the very top left of the page and that's all it prints, one after the other, again and again, and do not stop. If I have to cancel the printing of the touch screen, it stops the current print but restarts printing again shortly after.

I sent a test page (page has shown in print queue), but I won't stop printing the page of fraction and smiley face.  the work queued print ever.

There is no error before, after or during the printing of this page.

Welcome to the HP community @gemini570,

I understand your Officejet 8500 has constantly prints a page with a smiling face in the upper left corner, and I wanted to respond to try to help.

Please, start by connecting your PC to the print and scan doctor and choose "print trouble." This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

You can also check to see if you have Web Services enabled on the front of the printer and try to turn it off to see if the pages stop printing on.

If the above don't help, try to uninstall the printer software , restart the computer and run the HP printer install Windows Wizard to install the printer.

Another idea that comes to mind, would be to try stop and start the print spooler:

    1. click on start
    2. type 'Services' in the search field.
    3. open SERVICES
    4. at the bottom, click "extended view.
    5. search for the print spooler
    6. right click and choose Properties
    7. Select Automatic from the drop-down list, close the window
    8. right-click Print Spooler and select 'Stop', wait until it stops and then again right click and 'Start '.
    9. close out Services and try your print.

How this 8600 is connected to your PC? (USB, Ethernet or wireless)

What is the operating system of the computer you are printing from?

  • OfficeJet Pro K850 will not stop print an alignment Page

    Hello world

I had not used my K850 printer for about 6 months, so when I need to print something with her, I ran the option first cleaning the print head.  I had to run to the top through the three levels in order to get their own.  After this for good measure, I ran the head alignment utility.  The problem occurred during the alignment.  For some reason any he will not fulfill the alignment process.

No matter what I tried the printer can print the pattern of alignment at all times using only the black and yellow inks. Even if I stopped, remove the power cord and restart, after that it goes through the boot sequence, it begins in the same page with the two same printing inks.

I managed to interrupt long enough to install the latest firmware but the problem still remains.  In addition, in this case weather or not, it is connected to my computer, so I guess the problem is in the printer, not the driver.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    Thank you

  • My 6600 all-in-one wireless will not stop printing.

OS Win 7. My 6600 all-in-one Officejet wireless not printing stop. It prints a "D" in the upper corner and continues printing page after page, until I have to turn the printer off. Without control panel and the error message does not display items to print. No changes, but printer is only a month or so old. As I was leaving the printer and the PC off.  Apparently, he's been using my data limit.  Like 4 times what I used normally. Is this typical?

    @Speechguru,

I see that you have a problem with a page of report printing after each print job. I know that you don't think that it comes from the WORD, but this solves several issues about the summary reports being printed after each print job.

    Open word, then

    1. Click on the "desktop" (left upper corner of the window) button and then 'print '.
    2. Click on 'Options' (lower left corner of the print window)
    3. Choose the section "display".
    4. Uncheck the box 'print the document properties '.
    5. Click OK for all windows and you're done

Try to print after that. Let me know the results.

    Original title: printing problems

I am facing a problem with the printer - or maybe a computer problem.  I can't pinpoint the problem.  My printer (Epson Workforce 645) appears as the default on my computer, and it says 'ready', but it will not be printed.  My documents will in Quebec, but after about 30 seconds, the State spends printing, error.  I've tried everything.  (Occasionally), it will display a test page.    Any ideas?

    Hi Julia,

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community!

You are unable to print and get the error message.

I imagine the frustration you feel when you are unable to print.

This can happen due to connection problems, malicious content or third-party programs.

1 have you tried all the Troubleshooting steps?

2 is the computer, or a printer attached to a domain network?

    3. are you able to print from Notepad?

    4. what documents do you speak?

5 is the full error message?

To check if it's because of connection problems malware content follow the steps mentioned below:

    Method 1: Run the troubleshooter

    See the site:

    Open the printer Troubleshooter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/open-the-printer-Troubleshooter

Method 2: Scan the computer to remove all possible malicious content

    See the site:

    Microsoft safety scanner

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx .

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 3: Clean boot

When the computer starts to boot, programs non-Microsoft will not be started and would avoid any interruption of their share.

    See the site:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135 .

Note: once you are done with the boot, follow step 3 in the article to restore your computer to normal startup.

Note: If in case you are connected through a wireless connection and then when you start the System Configuration utility to perform the clean boot, click Startup and Services tab one time and check see topic wireless are turned on (Enabled).

I hope this helps. If the problem persists, let know us and we would be happy to help you.

  • HP psc2100 series all-in-one: printer was working fine, all of a sudden its impasse on copy and will not be printed said export error

computer printing problem saying "Error exporting" and printer saying just 1 copy.  I tried troubleshooting on mine, doesn't have the verified maintenance on the printer, but still saying error. Help, please!

    Hi @kelley22,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that your HP PSC 2100 printer is stuck on copy and will not be printed on Windows 8. I'm happy to help you!

The first step, I would like to recommend is a hard reset. Please see this message, How to perform a hard reset, by @Rich1. It is very important that the power cable from the printer is plugged directly into the wall outlet, not a surge protector. See this article, questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power, for more information. This is true for printers and ink jet.

Once this step is finished, please try to print a self-test report, to check the printer hardware is fully functional.

To print a self-test report, follow these steps:

    • On the product control panel, press Setup.
      The installation menu appears.
    • Press the right arrow ( ) until print report displays and then press OK. The menu print report appears.
    • Press the right arrow ( ) until the self-assessment report and press OK. The self-test report prints.

If the test report print, then on the computer, please try our HP print and Scan Doctorand let me know what happens!

Hope this helps and have a great day!

  • Laptop will not stop or sleep

    Hello

I recently bought an Acer E5-571-54YJ.

The laptop works very well and fits my needs for the school.

Only problem I have with it is that it will not stop or go into sleepmode.

When I stopped it after a few seconds when the screen goes black I mean the closed disc and fans to stop spinning, but blue remains on. I must then manually turn it off by holding the power button.

Even with its in sleep mode. The light stays on and I can't turn it back on again. I have to first manually stopped in now the power button and then start it upward.

I tried to disable the quick start, but this does not solve the problem.
I hope someone can help me quickly because it's really annoying that I can't put it in mode 'sleep'.

If you want more information, just ask.

    Greetings,

    Jean-Paul

First of all, make sure that you have the latest version of the BIOS.  If the update to the latest version of the BIOS fixes the problem, then please don't read any more.  If the update to the latest version of the BIOS doesn't fix it, then continue reading.

Do not read anything below, or attempt anything below unless you have the latest version of the BIOS and will always have the problem.

If you have Haswell-ATU as the computer linked below - i5 4210U, then the only two known workarounds I know are using the Intel Management Engine interface driver 8.1 Windows 9.5 or install Intel MEI 11.0.0.1181.   If you have Intel Management Engine interface driver 11.0.0.1146 installed, it would be the problem.

Internet search or this forum.  There are tens of thousands of messages that describe problems associated with sleep/stop Haswell-ATU and Windows 10 and usually driver boost a/k/a turbo Intel MEI 11.0.0.1146 11.0.0.1146.

Yet once, most people use the 9.5 intel management engine interface driver (a Windows 8.1 driver) as a workaround to resolve the problem.  Go to Device Manager and try to restore.  Roll back may or may not give you the Windows 8.1 driver.  You may need to install it manually.
