Hello

In the history panel is anyway I can go back and remove an editing tool, but keep all future changes. If you click on a particular edition, you did remove everything after that.

Thank you very much

Paul.

Click the drop-down menu Burger in the upper right of the historical Panel > History Options > allow non-linear history. Click OK.

  • Cannot find options and historic Panel. :(

I just started using indesign in CS6, everything went smoothly, until the historical Panel disappeared. I don't remember what I did, I could press something accidentally, but it's over now. I tried to open the window and search history option, but it isn't here. What can I do to display again the historical Panel?

As Peter says, InDesign doesn't have a historical Panel; a third-party plug-in could come from either DTPTools, either 65 bit, both have / had this kind of plugin.

  • Historical Panel for camera raw

Camera Raw has the equivalent of the historical Panel in Photoshop? Often, I want to see a previous step.

N ° Lightroom has a database that contains the previous steps.  ACR has no equivalent database to store the stages of history.

  • Name of brush in the historical Panel?

I would like to know if there is a way to see the names of brushes in the historical Panel?  All that says is "Add stroke" I that if you click on the brushes of dotted lines on the photo that you can see what brush is used, but I hate editing compared to those, so I turn them off.  That means that I have to do a few clicks just to see what brushes I've used. It would be useful to simply be able to see, in my story, which ones I used especially when you need to stop editing until you are completely finished with the photo and come back later.

Rickk what am I missing here which makes the info so easily accessible?  for me at this stage, it is accessible by several clicks to find what PIN is just that I want and brush that I need to find.  What are the shortcuts that I'm missing?

One thing you can do is press O to turn on the overlay of the brush (a colorful mask preview). Then - with no active pins at all - you don't need to click on the pins randomly; You can just move the pointer through the different pins in turn without clicking, so that the mask belonging to each of them appears temporarily. Once you have found one that covers the parts of the image, click to activate that, and press O to hide the overlay again.

  • Is there a historical Panel in Illustrator into Photoshop?

    Hello...

I was wondering if there is a Panel in Illustrator is similar to the historical Panel in Photoshop that cases actions performed on a document?

    Thank you!

No, there is nothing like this in Illustrator. Illustrator just normal undo/redo functionality. There is a cancellation of dealing now, but that doesn't tell you anything about what happened in a particular transaction.

  • Cannot resize the historical Panel since the installation of the updated CC.

    Mac X 10.8.5; PS CC 2014.2.1

After updating my Photoshop CC today, I find that I can no longer resize the width of the Panel history/Actions/etc. When I point to the left edge of the Panel, the cursor becomes the tool of the double-arrow-resize, but nothing happens when I drag it. The Panel layers, libraries, swatches, etc is correct: I can resize without problem.

Is this a known problem or maybe something is wrong with my installation?

    TIA, Beth

He can't go closer, because you have it in a column with brushes that can not go very close.

And he cannot go much higher because of the minimum size of the panels below.

You can always remove the panels individually and rearrange them however you want.

  • Historical Panel Photoshop CC involuntary watch 'Change color' accomplished, how to prevent?

    PS Color Change mystery.JPG

    Hi all

During the review of measures on an image I just through the pictured "change color" listed among other steps. The problem is that no such step was intended, and I don't know what I could do to get it to happen. When I compare before and after, I can visually see no difference, but I am certainly not any involuntary change happening, it's immediately apparent or not. I'm probably a shortcut to intermediate level user, but I do not attempt to use a shortcut which did not produce the desired effect, and if there was, certainly not with the frequency that I see this result. Interweb searches have turned up nothing to explain these 'Change color' entries, either in the form of other reports the same, or all the specific commands "change color". Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    You are welcome.

Of course as soon as there is an update, will let you know.

  • How can I make CS6 panels 'sticky '?

This is probably a very basic question.  In previous versions of Photoshop, I used (CS3, CS5), when I opened several panels (e.g., history, Info, etc.) they would all stay open for reference.  However with the CS6, I noticed that if I, say, opens the Panel historical and also open, say, Info, then the historical Panel closes.

How can I change this behavior such that each panel I open will remain open and visible until I have guide otherwise?  It's frustrating to have to keep using window-> History (or other) whenever I need to see one or the other.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Te only thing you need to do is that, simply click on the arrow that says "expand the panels." In looking at your request, it seems that you currently signs collapsed.

If the panels are reduced that they remain open, but they become hidden and you need to click the icons associated with each Panel.

To remedy this, simply develop signs and then each panel that you can open will behave as you need.

Please find the arrow in the image below:

    It could be useful!

  • Questions of basic history panel

I use the history panel by selecting the previous States to resume my file to previous States before I made my changes him.

    1. What does it mean by clicking the checkbox on the left with the brush do? I can't say what a difference it makes.

    Thank you.

That's the history brush. Another feature of this option is the fact that the State of history marked not "roll-off" the historical Panel, no matter how many States story add you

  • CS5 allows the historical sign in code view?

I saw an old thread from last year (http://forums.adobe.com/message/1038491#1038491) where people have confirmed that the historical Panel is enabled in "creation mode" and it is disabled mode code «» I wonder if this feature has been changed in CS5. Does anyone know?

The reason why I wonder is I'm trying to quickly create hotkeys to comment code (be / * /, or / /) and delete comments. I know there is a button available in the toolbar that will add a / * / comment, thus getting a keyboard shortcut for is not a big deal, but I would really like a way to delete comments which is faster than a right-click on a selection of text to bring up the context menu, go down to "selection >" and click on 'delete comment '. What I've read, it seems that the best way to make a keyboard shortcut for this would be to select text and do "Remove the comment" through the context menu, then create a macro/command using the history panel and finally assign a keyboard shortcut to this command. However, this does not seem possible because for me the history panel is disabled when I'm in mode code (in Dreamweaver 8).

If anyone has a better solution to my real question, how to create a keyboard shortcut to remove code comments, I would be very grateful to hear it!

The history panel is not enabled for Code view in CS5.

And I don't have a suggestion easier or faster to know how to delete the other comments that clicking on the icon in toolbar mode Code.

  • History of Firefox - it not COMPLETELY deleted right out of firefox

Took me to clear my browsing history when I leave firefox. And firefox the fact but not completely! When I re - open firefox, my historical Panel is clear; BUT when I start typing a URL where I was in the past (and it isn't in my favorites) firefox shows me the full URL before I type it completely. This means that the URL is always saved history somewhere!
I've disabled all my firefox extensions and always had this problem.

I encountered this problem in the last two versions of firefox (20 and 21)

  • To access the results search and replace...

Find and replace is an excellent feature.

The output of this Panel gives a lot of information...

But, I wonder how I can access it in a jsfl script, write in a table of some kind or whatever.

Is there documentation on how to access such things?

Therefore, it is very, very useful!

I think that you will need to use specific jsfl for each type of item to search for.  you could test by opening the Panel history and made a historical Panel right-click > view > javascript in Panel.

  • import photos from an SD card in Lightroom

When I import pictures from a sd card in the camera, they show in black and white. Who is wrong

    any

There are at least two possibilities I can think

    1. The photo (if it's a JPG) was capture B & W camera
    2. There is a preset (accidentally?) applied to the import (in the develop Module historical Panel, the substantive entry should say Import date and time; and not import / followed by the date and time) in which case you need to remove the develop preset to be applied to the import.
