HL-dt-st-dvd +-rw gt80n registry error code 19

My DVD HL - DT - ST DVD + - RW GT80N to Inspiron 17R has suddenly stopped working - Windows8/64 bit troubleshooting could not solve the problem with the driver. I have uninstalled and installed the driver but still receive the error: "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) ». DVD ROM is not recognized by Windows Explorer by Total Commander, or any other application except the Windows Device Manager. The thing with "UpperFilters" and "LowerFilters" in regedit did not work as well.
ITunes is much longer intalled so I don't think that's the problem.
Need help please, I don't know what to do.

Hi, I've recently upgraded to Win 10. Now my GT80N HL-DT-ST DVD-+ on my Inspiron 7720 does not work.  It is located in the Device Manager and claims to have the right driver, but will not read or write what whatsoever.  Each drive is detected as empty.  Mr. Mo attach to win 10, cannot back driver and have uninstalled/re-installed without success. What can I do?

    Hello

19 code means there is a driver conflict such as two devices attempt to use the same resources.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.

  • DVD player not recognized; error code 10

Our Museum has a Dell Optiplex 745 on which the XP operating system has been replaced by Windows 7 Professional.  The DVD drive is not recognized, and the error code 10 stipulates that the driver could not be loaded.  I tried upgrading the driver online, but I was told that the driver installed is the right one for this player.  If I remove the drive with the machine on, uninstall the driver, stop and then restart and then restarting to reinsert the DVD, the computer recognizes the drive and install it and it works.  When you restart the computer the next morning, the car disappeared again.  Would appreciate any help I can get!

  • Satellite Pro A120: Corrupt registry - error code 19 Device Manager

I have a Satellite of A.120 Pro I am trying to charge my Creative Zen Sleek MP3 on it but keep getting a Code 19 registry is corrupted message in the Device Manager. How can I fix it

    Hello

After a short investigation in the Microsoft Knowledge base, I found this description of the error Code 19:

    ---------------------------------

    Code 19:
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged.
To resolve this problem, you can first try running a Troubleshooting Wizard.
If this does not work, you must uninstall and reinstall the hardware device.

This can occur when more than one service is defined for a device, if there is a failure opening the service subkey, or if the driver name cannot be obtained from the service subkey. Try these options:

On the tab General properties of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard. Click on uninstall and click Scan for hardware changes to load a usable driver. Restart the computer using safe mode, and then select last good known Configuration. This cancels the last successful configuration of the registry.

    --------------------------------------------

I hope this steps will help you!

    Hi mate

Don t you worry it seems that it s just a registry problem.
First of all, remove the CD/DVD drive in Device Manager list.
Then, go to the registry and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:

    + HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contr ol\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} +.

    Reboot the laptop.
Wait that the OS again recognized the CD/DVD drive and check it out.

  • Satellite L450D - cd/dvd player not recognized: error code 39

    Hello
drive my laptop has disappeared from the 'my computer' screen and will not load disks; You can hear it turns as it plays, but then nothing comes. I checked for it Device Manager, and it comes up with the message "Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) ».

I tried to update the drivers for it, but windows says I have correct and up-to-date drivers installed. I can't seem to find the drivers for it on the toshiba site and to be honest I'm not entirely sure to try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers without a bit of comfort that I have the correct driver. I'm tempted just to do a system restore, but I have a lot of things stored on the laptop that I (stupidly!) have not backed up yet and can actually copy in the distance the system on disk, because the hard drive does not work...

If there is a way to access installing the correct driver for the disc drive, and then uninstall the damaged one and reinstall the right pair, I prefer to do that.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

UNINSTALL you then RESTART when back in Device Manager - which means rebooting the system.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Guide for the reader who still does not work? There are
the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and
the correct registry entries for your car.

Here are the keys that I of course are those in question - for the subkeys of the CD/DVD drive
as there will be other subkeys in these keys. Do not forget to ask specific keys involved as well as
    the parameters.

Use DevManView to locate the CD/DVD in the registry (be careful and do a prior Restore Point)
nothing change) - find the DevManView device and then make a right click on it free in RegEdit.

DevManView - free - an alternative to the standard Windows Device Manager, which displays all the
devices and their properties in flat table, instead of the tree viewer

    I hope this helps.
