• The Hold function should disable the power button?

  I activated the Hold function on my 8 GB Clip + by pressing the home button.  However, I was still able to turn off the drive by pressing the power button.  This is how it is supposed to be?  No other buttons work but the power button still worked on "hold".  I have read the pdf of Sansa manual and searched the forums but cannot find anything on this topic.  Apologies if it's already been addressed.  Thank you.

  The power button is seized of the primary key for the Clip +, so it will always have priority.  It is "wired" into the device.  Note that the power button which will be held for a while for the power control.

  On the e200 series, the main control is the menu button of the switch on the Clip (basic), it is the slider switch contact, as on the Sansa Fuze / power.

• Audition Audio 'Split function' does not?

  Have no idea why, but on my old Adobe audition 3.0 version (which works perfectly), when I go to multitrack view and want to change a track - requiring the split function - it does not work.   I pull up the menu and 'split' is one of the options (normal) - then I left click on the position where I want to change the audio track.  (normal)  THEN, when I use the right click and HOLD function on the mouse to "drag" the piece of splitting the audio down in another (normal) track, now it does not work - nothing happens.   Our here does he know why it can happen?  Very frustrated.  Is there a secondary way, I can try to 'split' or separate and 'move' the play published audio... when done, I then MIX again...

  For the record - I CAN cut section and paste it into another track, but I can't MOVE the tracj with my my right click on the mouse.

  You have the right hybrid tool, selected from among the four tool icons in the menu bar? You don't do a right-click and drag if you have the choice of time or scrub tool selected.

  I have two values Measurer in what I'm doing a Labview VI. A current and voltage sensors on my battery and regulator.  To get the power (Watts)

  I have run through a multiplier of Labview (such as volts X wattage = AMPS). That is fine, but I would like to make an electricity meter long term and not only have instant

  power. So what I want to know is does anyone know a function VI or sub-channel (for lack of a better word) which could take as input a Measurer of value which in this case is watts

  and then add second per hour over time to produce a final result of kilowatt-hours? For me, a pretty Labview novice user, this need of the cries for a function of integration (area under the graphic thing).

  I don't have tinkered with Labview integration function but for the moment no chance maybe because I do not know how to feed a significant signal in the upper and lower limits of entry.

  Use a while loop with a delay (hold function) as 1s configures a Shift Register (SR) in rt - by clicking on the border of the While loop. A digital constant of the appropriate data type of wire to the left terminal of the use of SR. a function Adder to add instant power for every second & stop the while loop after based on logic after a certain amount of timeout. Wire indicator to the right of the RS Terminal, you'll get the total power obtained over a period of time.

  I worte a program (see attachment) in order to acquire data from two instruments (RS232) serial ports - one is a force sensor and another is a position sensor. When I connect these two instruments directly on my desk by RS232, the data seemed fine. But when I connect these two instruments to the USB ports on my laptop, RS232-USB adapter, there was so much noise for two data. Someone told me it was due to the interference of material. Since I know little about the equipment, could someone please tell me if this is really a material interfering or problems with my code? Why it worked well on desktop and is it possible to fix it?   Your code looks fine with one exception.  You must convert error hydrants at the border of the loop of shift registers.  In this way, any error that occurs will be propagated to the next loop.  The way you have it, if an error occurs, it will be lost on the next iteration of the loop and you will never know about it.

  You aren't the first person who complained USB converters series spoil their program.  The only suggestion I have is to come back to the serial port, or maybe buy another brand of USB-serial converter.

  Edit: Just noticed you don't have any waiting funtion in your loop.  This will cause 100% CPU usage, and maybe that's what's causing your problem because the OS isn't time to take care properly to the USB port.  It's just a guess.  Put in a small delay (hold function), e.g. 10 ms.  See if that solves your problem.  Even if it isn't, keep the delay in there.

  Use the "hold" function instead of waiting "until...". ». Is your vi on an RT target? If the loop is running elements, then available in your table, then you will get 0 as the timeout.

  Well many elimanation prosese, I discovered that the rear lights are gone. So, I came to have an older hp Pavilion in the garage that I can take the lights of maybe they'll work. If this isn't the case, then I'll have to order online. LIST OF THINGS TRIED makes me here (to NOTE THAT WHEN MAKING REPAIRS, YOU SHOULD ALWAYS DISSCONECT all FEED them THIS BATTERY INCLUDES THE OUT SOCKET):

  (1) pluged external monitor to see if it was perhaps the gpu (graphics card) that was released.

  If you do this and you get the video on the external monitor is not the gpu. (when you plug external monitor, you may need to switch monitors in the settings to do this hold function key and Press f4 twice)

  (2) disassemble the case around my monitor (note that, when doing so vary careful not not to break the plastic) there are 2 screws to the bottem under stickers small black cover, take the first befor you start to detach plastic. then once I got going, I checked all conections of wire to see if there was any damage.

  (3) once I had it all out and noticed that all the wires were not visible I damage disconnected the power for lights that are behind the screen. This is the bottem of sreen more to the right. a 2 conection coming from him. I used the old Pavilion hp I should spend the ration cards. still nothing!

  (4) well I changed the lights from the old to the new and put it all back together and is! sound works.  so thank you all for your replies and I hope that maybe this blabble can help someone else!
