  • HP Pavilion dv6t-7000 CTO: fan making loud noise, need of replacement but can't find it

So my laptop fan started to make really loud this rattle sound. Makes me very self-consciousness of me when I'm in public, so I just Don ' t bother bringing them along. But I really need my laptop with me. The noise usually comes out randomly.

I tried the HP part Store selector and in the fan section it lists just the fan button, which is not what I need. I think I need to completely replace the fan at this point (I tried to fix the problem of cleaning the fan out of the dust to check it for possible damage, but can not find what is the problem).

If anyone knows where I can find a spare for my laptop fan and I have to buy with all heat sink heat and thermal paste? I'm pretty experience in the repair of the computer so I have confidence that I can do, more my warranty expired in 2014, so I don't be invalidated anyway.

If it helps any, the product is of # A3E83AV.

The noise is usually caused by a defect in the fan motor bearing.

You were on behalf of the incorrect item.

What you need is the discreet thermal module, which contains the fan a heat for the CPU and video sink.

The part number for the product number of your laptop is 682061-001. It's on the document next to the web HP PartSurfer.

  • HP 15 ab 522: loud noise of HARD drive

My laptop (HP 15 ab 522) HARD drive makes squealing noise whenever the HARD drive light flashes white. The noise becomes quite noticeable and persistent when the system boots, the HARD drive light turns to solid white color. HARD drive runs smoothly when there is no indication of the LED on the HARD drive. I understand that whenever the HARD drive is accessible, he makes noise due to the movement of the read/write head but the noise is louder at compared other hard drives in other laptops. Its a Hitachi (HGST HTS541010A9E680) HARD drive as far as I can make out. I ran also ran a large HDD, all successful tests test.

    Hey Capt-Rod,

It is quite possible that the printer is under warranty. It is not based on the buyer, but according to the serial number of the printer. Please, either use the following link. Check your product warranty or call HP.

If you are in the Canada, U.S. dial 800-474-6836 or you can Contact HP worldwide.

From your description, it seems that you have done the troubleshooting necessary, but please plan to take a look at the following link. HP Photosmart 7520 e-all-in-one printer series - when using the ADF, one "original jam: clear jam and press OK' Message displays on the all-in-one."

You will find a not just yet, you will need to complete and could very well solve the problem.

  • Portege R700 - very loud noise of frying

I have a Portege R700 from November 2010. Since I got the computer, the left speaker has sometimes been a very strong, a little scary noise when it is not cut.
It carries out this time when he plays music (or other sounds), and when it is not supposed to do something. It also makes the sound when the computer starts.

It is becoming more and more common, and now I can't use the computer when the speakers are on at all. Someone told me that it could be linked to the hard drive?
    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

It is certainly hardware related issue but I know if someone here can say with certainty why this happen.

Your laptop is not old and has a valid warranty. Best thing you can do is to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider. Explain the situation and they can check it. If something needs to be exchanged this them will be given for free.

  • Satellite C670-11 q clicking loud noise the HARD drive

    Hello!

I helped my neighbor to find a new laptop and the entire installation and start-up.

We ordered a C670-11 q and it works very well, theres just a nuisance.
The drive made strong rattling noises, not as a dying or working drive. It's the same sound when you turn a disc, just a lot stronger. I guess that's the "arm of disc" that goes into its safe position.

I don't know if this laptop has a shock sensor to do this? The laptop was flat on the table, and there where NO vibrations while she does. There are no clicks under load, but they occur randomly when walking to the idle or surf/write normal.

I checked also save energy options and disabled to turn the disk, without help.
Also, this seemed odd, because the clicks occur often several times in a row. But there is no doubt it more when running on the battery.

I am running the BIOS and latest drivers in the area of support (as of yesterday).
The disk is configured in performance mode, I'm testing battery economy - should I?

And no, the drive took a beating. I was the first person to turn it on.

The drive is Hitachi, I don't run their analysis - no error.

Any help is greatly appreciated: o)

One of my computer portable HARD drive makes such noise too.

I m not exactly why, but I also think that it is at the head of discs moving record position.

However, I think that this is not really a malfunction since the laptop works pretty well and I didn't notice any problems with the HARD drive or files but I have created a backup of my files, just to be sure that you know
I think you should save the date just to be sure

It sounds really bad. In my opinion, you should contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They can check and, if necessary, exchange the HARD drive.

  • Satellite A30: strange loud noise from speaker & headphone

    Hi guys,.

I bought this laptop some time ago (3-4 months). Don't worked fine, no problems at all. Used VOIP (Skype), etc.

Then I started having strange noises of frying (speaker and headphone).

And now - after a month or two, I started having this problem - I can not record voices.
This laptop isn't microphone with microphone. tested the microphone with another laptop, it works fine.

Reinstall the driver did not help. :(

    Anyone any idea?

    THX!

    * @ matt13 *.
If the technicians have tested this laptop and didn t find any abnormality of speaker then everything seems to be ok.
You said you play bad music. I think you mean bad quality music.
Then I n t wonder some frying noise seems to play this kind of music.

    *@bzsolt*
I recommend reinstall the operating system, because I noticed a similar problem on my laptop and after a fresh install, everything was ok.

  • computer laptop DV9500 fan makes loud noise...

    Hi all

Recently, I have problem with my computer 17 "hp laptop. There is a grinding noise coming from a place where the fan is fitted. The noise starts after a few minutes, I start the laptop. I couldn't understand what kind of fan is the cause of problem. Some people said it could be cpu fan or normal or it could be a power supply fan. Recently I installed the software of Notbook hardware control (NHC) and suddenly I'm me extermely low contrast on the screen and the noise stopped. It's never happened before. When the fan starts to make noise I have stop working. After installing this software, I have almost solved the problem, but still it will start intermittently. Could someone tell me what could be the problem?

The heatsink in the many books of HP is of inferior quality.  We know that this is not the cause of hard disk, you do not hear the noise as soon as you turn on the PC.  It is not the optical drive, because you do not run the DVD ROM.  The only other element is the radiator fan.  You must open Notepad and check for the appropriate placement of the radiator.  The fan must turn freely.  Repair or replace as needed.  Remove dusty rabbits that have accumulated over the years.

  • How loud noise HDD should be?

Hi, I just got a new spectrum of HP x 360, and the hard drive seems to be working hard enough. I don't know if this is normal or if I'm being too sensitive. The sounds seem to be ordinary hard drive running sounds, but they are sensitive enough to me in quiet places. Even the laptop 4 year, replaces the spectrum x 360 has been quieter than that. Is there cause for concern? It is slightly irritating, but I'll probably get used to it after a while if this isn't a sign of a defective product.

It's a SSD. Thank you to educate me on the issue of the high pitched noise with SSDS. After some research, it seems that a lot of people can hear it, but this isn't a matter of concern. For example in the threads here and here, some who can hear noise isolated their SSD and confirmed that it is indeed the SSDS producing noise and noise they describe is exactly what I mean. Original posters also concluded (in the second thread, after 2.5 years and the installation of many SSDs) that acute noise does not affect performance at all.

  • blue screen and a loud noise after I installed a game

Please can someone tell me why, my computer froze after downloading a trial version of a game from Big Fish Games, then a blue screen with white lettering came to tell me something about the stop and he was accompanied by this horrible vibrating noise! I could not "escape" or do the "control/alt/delete" that the system has frozen right on this blue screen with that noise going. I thought that the pc was going to explode! I finally had to unplug the power cord and remove the battery to get him to stop. I reinstalled the battery and power cord and restarted and it is slow in coming to the top, but with my icons of the game but done and performed normally. I uninstalled this game here, but today when you view a Youtube video, he did it again.

Help? Should I download this ParetoLogic PC Health Advisor?

Vibrating him maybe to do with the hard drive... I would like to launch a material check to see if its ok

  • Loud noise in Photosmart D110a

This old printer less-than-a-year regularly through this sequence when I try to print:

    1.) error message "paper jam".

2.) without paper is entered at all, so I press 'OK '.

    3.) his terrible machine guns-gun-type.

Error message 4). 'Abnormal termination' (I have not touched it since giving the command 'print').

5.) machine guns-gun-like the smallest noise.

6.) I hear normal sounds of preparation to print (cartridge back and forth) and it prints.

Noise is what concerns me. Must indicate the wear and is about to break, no?

This looks like a physical problem with the hardware. I would contact 800-HPINVENT for warranty/repair options in this case.

  • Windows Media Center will not play a DVD, I get video with a loud noise and no soundtrack.

When you try to play a DVD in Windows Media Center or media player, the video starts, but there is a loud cracking sound with no sound of music.   This Media Center has played the DVD in the past.

    ViXS Pure TV - U 48BO

I checked these devices using HP Hardware Diagnostic tools and they work.  I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled.  Also updated all the drivers.

Reading this forum, I tried to delete the file from library: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Medial Player

So far, nothing has solved the problem.

    Thank you for your response.

I went through the steps.  He has not fixed the problem.  The good news is that I stumbled upon a fix.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Realtek Audio drivers.  Which corrects the problem.

    Thank you.

  • Loud noises M1212nf printer cartridge

Recently for no apparent reason began to make noises jerking when I tried to print a document. The only way I could stop the noise was unpluging the power source and remove the ink cartridge. I have considered the problem being with the cartridge ink because after reinstallation of ink cartridge, the problem remains still.

Purchase new ink cartridge would solve my problem? If not, what are my options?

Problem solved. An inkpen was stuck in the paper feed. Works fine now, thanks for your support
